:) Click to report rating    12/15/09 5 5 5 I'm shocked by the negative comments. We did an extensive search of clinics and doctors before meeting with Dr. Anania. She is extremely knowledgeable, listens to you, and gives you a realistic approach. She's very analytical and reflective. She is the 1st doctor we saw that didn't try to "sell" the baby-making process to us. She's a surgeon and RE, not a therapist. I'd rather get a knowledgeable doctor who had my health and concerns at the forefront than a shoulder to cry on about our fertility problems. There are specialists and support groups for that, too.

:( Click to report rating    11/29/09 5 3 1 I also found Dr Anania to be cold and uncaring and not very knowledgeable. It seemed to me that she was just in it for the money and not to give me the best chances of having a baby. I think the nurses were great and part of the reason I kept giving her the benifit of the doubt. She never did one procedure on me I found that to be strange. I have switched doctors and I am so much happier now with the care that I'm receiving. I would never recommend her to anyone.

:) Click to report rating    6/28/09 5 5 5 Dr. Anania was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate regarding our situation. The negative comments must have been from people who were unsuccessful and/or frustrated. Ditto to all of the positive comments

:) Click to report rating    6/1/09 5 5 4 I find all these posts very interesting and I agree with most points made about Dr. Anania. In my experience, she is knowledgeable and helpful, but she is not terribly compassionate and is sort of monotone to a very challenging situation. I would appreciate a more "caring" approach at times. I do think her staff is great.

:) Click to report rating    10/15/08 5 5 5 I find the entire RSC staff to be friendly, competant, and responsive and my experience has been very positive. I am always seen on-time - they are very efficient and organized. During my first consult Dr. Anania had thoroughly read my file and was ready to answer my questions. She was very patient explaining the protocol options I had and what they meant. While not particularly compassionate, she did suggest their therapist to us and was sensative to our feelings. She was very professional and respectful. Her team nurse leader is excellent and has patiently worked with us through difficult insurance barriers. I particularly like how RSC effectively coordinates with my insurance company(my insurance wasn't listed above as an option: FCHP). My previous RE's office was constantly messing up with insurance issues and always made me feel like it was my fault for having a difficult insurance company. RSC is not like that and they have staff dedicated to working out insurance issues.

:| Click to report rating    9/24/08 4 3 2 I also fell into the category of not liking Dr. Anania. I found her bedside manner to be horrible, and felt that she belittled my questions and concerns I had. I did very much like the nursing staff and the facility, but would choose another dr.

:) Click to report rating    9/19/08 4 5 5 My husband and I had a consultation with Dr. Anania. We were suprised at how well she had studided all of our records. She was very polite, helpful, and knowledgable.

:| Click to report rating    9/10/08 2 2 2 It's not the doctors knowledge I questioned. It was the total lack of respect and dignity she provided me. She was downright insulting in the way she approached me. If she could work on her bedside manner she would be a much more respected doctor. I don't expect to be "babied" by my doctors but I do expect an ounce of respect.

:( Click to report rating    4/2/08 3 2 1 I found Dr. Anania to be helpful to a point. She is very cold and shows little compassion during such a difficult time. Ultrasound and blood lab had the nicest people. Not all but some of the nurses are nice. The nurses that call back a lot of times don't give the proper information. I would not recommend Reproductive Science Center as a first choice. There are much better choices. Good Luck with your search. I hope this helps.

:( Click to report rating    7/20/07 2 2 1 I have to agree with the first ratings. After my intital testing and one IUI I changed to another program and found the care much more thorough and my new RE much more sesitive and informed.

:) Click to report rating    5/20/07 3 4 I'm surprised by the posts portraying Dr. Anania as rude. I find her to be polite and knowledgeable. She is very respectful.I think she is a bit conservative and,not being pg yet, I'm not sure if this is the best approach for me. Her nursing staff returns calls within a reasonable amount of time, but sometimes they don't seem to know what they're talking about or even who I am.

:) Click to report rating    2/17/07 3 4 She is knwoledgeable, kind and very professional. I wish she and the nurse were more explicit in reporting back to you, but the overall care is great. She is cautious in her protocols and will try to minimize the amount of drugs or procedure you get without compromising the success of the treatment. Not pushy at all.

:) Click to report rating    1/25/07 4 5 I was very surprised to read the negative comments regarding Dr. Anania. My husband and I thought she was very nice and professional. She made us feel very comfortable and answered all our questions (even the silly ones). I highly recommend seeing her if you are trying to get pregnant. Her nurse is also great, very friendly and willing to help.

:) Click to report rating    10/23/06 5 5 We think she took care of our issues very professionally. Anyway we could have babies with her help without going through difficult procedures. We believe she deserves a much better rating.

:) Click to report rating    7/27/06 5 5 I have had a very different experience from others. I have found Dr. Anania extremely knowledgable, dedicated, and sensitive to her patients needs- during an especially sensitive time in a couples life. I am extremely grateful to have Dr. Anania as my physician and will look back on these experiences with positive memories pertaining to my medical care.

:( Click to report rating    6/30/06 3 1 It's hard to believe that a WOMAN would have such discrimatory views about womens health issues. I too never made it past the initial consult.

:( Click to report rating    5/19/05 4 1 Dr. Anania has absolutely no tact or bedside manner. Her thinking on infertility is outdated. She was rude and condescending.
