Dr. Kaminska puts in long hours for a community that relies heavily on its health care professionals. While she may not always see eye to eye with her patients, she is always open to discussion. My only suggestion would be for her to start using an electronic prescription program because her handwriting is awful and I have no doubt that it has resulted in errors and/or many calls from the pharmacy.

very sympathtic and caring dr. No matter what others say i have been seeing her for years and has always been very good to me. Will send you for tests and a specialist if need be without question. Would miss her if she retires....

She has been my doctor for 18 years and I respect and admire her. I don't know what i will do when she retires. I've had many doctors in my lifetime but none compares to her. You never feel hurried or afraid to tell her something. I know her both as a patient and as someone who worked beside her in the er at Black's Harbour for a few years. Her like will not be seen again anytime soon in this area.

Better then nothing... I agree!!! Not to bad in a pinch. But if you want time off she's your lady. Her medical practicing needs to be looked into.

HAS FOUND A CAUSE OF ILLNESS OVERLOOKED BY 3 OTHER SPECIALISTS, TAKES TIME TO EXPLAIN, VERY COMPASSIONATE WITH GERIATRIC PATIENTS, WORKS VERY LONG HOURS IN A RURAL COMMUNITY, WORKS WEEKENDS AT BLACK HARBOUR EMERGENCY

I have only been to her a few times but each time I did feel better and she does get things done she is not scared to rattle the cage to get it done

This was a terrible doctor.. she prescribed me pennicilian when i am allergic to it, i owuldnt go to her i have been misdiagnosed and emotionally hurt by her comments. i wouldnt reccomend her.

In the beggining I found this Dr to be some what evasive and very uncertain. She was always referring you to a specialist for the smallest thing. However, after getting to know her, I have found her to be a very compasionate and thorough Dr. that is only looking out for the best interest of her patients.It turns out she is not evasive, she is simply not stupid and insist on have documented test results to substantiate what you are telling her. She has a very open mind towards pain control but is leary of prescribing anything for weight loss even if the meds have been on the market for a long enough time to know if they have long term side effects. I like a Dr. who can crack a joke and after she gets to know you and your background she is able to do so even if she thinks it is against the rules of being a good Dr.

VERY HELPFUL TO ME AND MY FAMILY. CAN SEE HER WITH VERY LITTLE WAIT TIME. CAN SEE HER AT THE HEALTH CLINIC IN EVENINGS.

Dr. Kaminska is polite, respectful, and she does make referrals. People that make negative comments must not have ever expirenced a doctor with " GOD COMPLEX SYNDROME".These doctors are abundant in Canada. I can except that a doctor may not know everything , and may make mistakes, however the rude ones are unacceptable. Dr. Kiminska is a good doctor in comparison.

Seems a little old fashioned but helpful and willing to ask for a second opinion. Well equipped and pleasant.
