Dr. Lowell has been my doctor for the past 5 years. He helped me loose nearly 100lbs, treated some endocrine abnormalities, and has always given me time and useful, realistic advice. I am a student physician and I see that Dr. Lowell still understands and remembers physiology, the basis of medicine and disease. An important quality and a sign of an intelligent actively thinking physician. I highly recommend him.

5/13/11 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | A few years back Dr. Lowell may have saved my life. Long story short, I had incredible abdominal pain, very high fever and had diahreah, vomiting, the works.I'm a thin guy but lost 21 lbs in 5 days. Thought I was dying. Finally I went to an Emergency Clinic. The Dr.there said "pack a bag. You have appendicitis, get to a hospital." My sister's a nurse she said go see Dr. Lowell.Dr. Lowell took one look at me said it's a form a food poisoning (campylobachter.) Go get a stool sample at a lab. I did that, yes, it turned out to be camplobachter (from under cooked chicken.) I took anti biotic for three days and was cured. Far as Im concerned he saved my life. | Respond |
