She seems very cold and abrupt. The appointments are very long with a lot of back and forth between staff with a lot of waiting. Last appointment was over 2 hours long but about 30 minutes was with 3 different staff members. Very stressful for my elderly mother.

My husband & I have always had great service. Staff friendly & professional. Both Dr Nolan and Dr Penno thorough and gentle and explain everything in terms we understand. My husband had a "secondary cataract" in one eye and Dr Penno fixed it very quickly with great results. Highly recommend this clinic!

I found her bedside manner to be lacking. Always in a hurry. Doesnt seem to have time to answer questions or talk about issues further. Just didnt seem to be all that interested. I would consider finding another eye specialist if you could.

This was the best eye exam I've ever received. She is the most knowledgeable eye doctor that I have visited. Answered any and all questions I had prepared for the exam. Best eye doctor in Calgary and possibly in all of Canada.

This was by far the most comprehensive eye exam i have received. I asked my MD to refer me to someone other than where i was going as I was not getting answers, just more drops. Dr. Penno took the time to explain what was going on, offer some suggestions on how I could manage the issue and provide information on optional treatment. No rush, great office staff , straight answers, no repeat visits required. If I choose to look at options, it will be arranged, otherwise, return in a year for a regular eye exam. Straight goods, no nonsense. That’s what i went for and that’s what I got. Great
