Yes, yes, yes the wait times are long, but considering that he takes on medical emergencies at the drop of a dime, it is understandable that the wait times can get lengthy. I have been on the one end waiting 5 hours plus to be seen and also when I encountered the most devastating reality of possibly losing my vision before the age of 30, I was attended to immediately. Knowing this I prepare for a long day, bring some snacks, a book and get ready to meet some really nice people that are all waiting for Dr. Kherani to make their world a little bit better. I'm so grateful to have him as my doctor. Dr.Kherani's skills, knowledge, kindness and compassion are a rare find in today's world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr.Kherani and a big hug to your family that allows all of us to borrow time from their father/husband:) Happy holidays! | Respond |

I travel a great distance to see him but he is worth every visit. Other Dr's could take a lesson from him in how he treats patients as busy as he is. | Respond |

4/29/09 | 5 | 2 | 5 | 5 | My elderly mother saw Dr. Kherani for a detached retina, she had no appointment but was seen anyway after a same day referral as an emergency. Dr. Kherani is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and no matter how many people are watiing he doesn't try and rush the exam, taking time to discuss with the patient and family as well. I feel very lucky that my mother was referred to such an amazing doctor. The waits can be very long but I have yet to hear anyone complain too much, even after hours in the waiting room (seen at 5:00 pm for a 9:00 am appointment once). The patients realize he is behind due to emergencies, which many of them have been at one time or another. I feel a real sense of comaraderie with the people in the waiting room after hours together - and many laughs shared. This is a testament to how amazing of doctor he is. | Respond |

His knowledge and treatment are fair and collaberative, he always takes into account my fears and hopes. His people skills are not good, his office is overbooked and there is a long waiting period that could extend up to 5 hours or more.
