I have seen Dr. Atkins twice now, he is the "new one" that comes to my small community every 6 - 8 weeks. Both times I found him to be friendly, easy to talk to, and supportive. I look forward to building a patient/doctor relationship with him. For the record I am female, and did not find that to be a problem, as someone else who commented did.
Very punitive and judgemental of female patient. He arrived late speaking on his cell phone for some time and his phone rang continuously. He answered it a couple of times and disregarded patient's presence. Had a poor mannerism with family and was borderline inappropriate.
