Dr. Wertheimer was the best doctor! Our entire extended family was his patients and we loved him. He was so caring and concerned with your health. NHMG is terrible now that he is gone. We feel like our health care has been shabby since he left. I can't wait until he is back into a practice, because we all will be going back to him. I hope we are all still alive and able to go to him again. All doctors should learn from his approach, unfortunatly most don't. We miss him greatly and can't wait to be his patients again. Yopp's, Trexel's and Coston's in Sneads Ferry.

DR. WERTHEIMER...PLEASE PLEASE COME BACK TO WILMINGTON....your knowledge and care are truly unsurpassed! You set an incredibly high benchmark which has yet to be met. Your systematic approach to handling yearly checkups and having the innate ability to diagnosis and treat health issues from young to seniors are incredulous. Hope to see you soon. Still missing him. Almost wish I were in the hospital in Columbus County so I could at least be under his care for a few days! Please, please come back and open a solo practice in Wilmington! You have so many folks who miss you and would drop their current, less than ideal practitioners to go back to being under your care! He always made time to listen to any health problems and followed up on each issue identified in later visits. I was always provided with copies of my lab work and X-rays and any other tests.

Caring, efficient, very knowledgeable, very much missed, good values, wonderful down to earth person who knows as much about nutrition as he does medical remedies. While He was my doctor, my health was perfect. Dr. Wertheimer, where are you? We are waiting for you to return to practice. We have a group of about 25 former patients who will follow you where ever you are. Linda Conley

Dr. Wertheimer is to me the best Doctor I have ever seen, I can't wait till I can see him again and get the care that I have nto been able to find since he left. I will always stand behind him through all things. I am on the look out for where he is practicing now , since his license is now been reinstated. Thanks Dr. Wertheimer - JMH

he was my mother doctor and was the one who sent to the hospital from his office for her cardiac problem. Then on to get a valve replacement.we would go to today if we could. we need more like him and we wish the beat.Irene is doing good thanks to you.

it makes no difference as to what happened when dr wertheimer left, he is a wonderful doctor you felt as if you were the only patient in the office. he gave you the care most other doctors know nothing about. there was no rush for him to get you in and out to make room for the next person. not only was i his patient but i also worked for him so i do know what a wonderful person he is. to my understanding he is working again not too far from wilmington. looking forward to being under his care once again.

My husband and I have visited many doctors for many illnesses and found Doctor Wertheimer to be the kindest and most knowlegable. He will be greatly missed

I will MISS him. He is the best doctor I ever had. He was well worth the wait to see him as he gave you his undivided attention. I am wondering what went wrong at the practice to make him leave?

THE VERY BEST. I don't want to see any other Doctor. Always made me feel better even when I was sick and always asked about my husband knowing he was sick with cancer. Most caring doctor.Always concerned over my blood pressure and took time to talk to me not AT me. Always made sure I understood. I will miss him. I am in SHOCK. I pray he is OK. GOD bless him always. PLEASE let us know you are OK

Awesome doctor. Really tries to make you understand the situation, and also treats you like a person, and not like a patient. His office runs behind quite a bit, but that is probably due to his popularity in town. He is an excellent person to talk to, and would rather treat the cause than the symptom. Little bit of a wait, but he is well worth it, and will spend as much time with you as it takes.

This is a physician that actually sits down and speaks WITH you. He is kind and discusses everything that happens with your visit, or what your lab results are. He is patient, kind, and answers all of your questions without hesitation. He is an excellent physician that makes you feel important and does not minimize any of the concerns that you may have. I recommend him 100% !

The best doctor I've ever had. Never rushes, and treats you like you're intelligent: gave me reprints of journal articles to support the blood pressure meds he put me on. Treats the whole patient, not the disease, and is mindful of things like drug costs. Is always up on the latest treatments and developments. Walks on water as far as I'm concerned. His office often runs behind schedule, but once you get in to see him, he's yours for as long as it takes.
