03/11/13 1 1 1 1 Worst doctor i have ever been to. Wanted me to do a clinic study and i did not want to do it, too many risks involved. Told me medicine would be too expensive and my drug plan would not cover it if i did not do this study. How does he know how much money i have. Left his office in tears and i do not cry ever, even when they thought i had lekeumia . I would rather die then ever see him again. I am now on medicine and doing great no thanks to him. thanks for nothing but heartache. debbie hill

14/05/13 5 5 5 5 I have spent the last two years going to doctors over and over again for my back. After a 10 minute examination of my back he finally thought he knew what it was. He promptly sent me for xrays of my spine, bloodwork, and booked my next appointment. While no other doctors listened, he sat there took notes, and paid attention to what I had said.  Respond

15/11/12 4 4 5 5 I got sick in 2001 with lupus. My family doctor and a gastro-enterologist thought it was hepatitis C or epstein-barr but weren't sure. I saw one rheumatologist who was a waste of my time. I asked for another and got sent to Dr. Adachi. After investigating my case, he said I had lupus(sle)or a similar autoimmune disease. At a time in my life when I was very ill and no one knew why, Dr. Adachi diagnosed my problem. It wasn't a nice diagnoses but not knowing was worse. At one time my GP and a hepatologist wanted to put me on a drug that is also used to treat cancer. I believe it's called methotrexate. Since I had confidence in Dr. Adachi, I wanted to know what he thought. Since I have Hepatitis C, he said that if he put me on this or other lupus drugs, he would kill me. Later on I got the internet and researched all of the diseases that I had heard mentioned in regard to my case. It was clear to me that Dr. Adachi was right. He is a good doctor and a pleasant man too.  Respond

08/02/11 5 4 4 3 It seems that Dr. Adachi might be more interested in using his patients for research than in treating them individually. He is a bit too anxious to prescribe new drugs.  Respond

14/01/11 5 5 5 5 I was taken into the appointment with no wait time. RN was exeptional and compassionate. I came with many questions and concerns, every one of which Dr. Adachi patiently addressed . After thanking him for his (considerable) time he said "that is more important than any pill I can prescribe." I nearly fell out of my chair. I didn't know there were specialists like this out there. I left feeling positive and in very capable hands. I will have no hesitation entrusting my care to him.  Respond

11/08/10 4 2 1 1 This Dr is polite but I really felt he did not even look at my file. Later that day family Dr. called to tell me about a vitamin deficiency, he did not mention it when he had blood test results right in front of him, so I know he did not look at them. Felt apt. was a waste of time for both of us ... but at least he gets paid.  Respond

28/01/10 5 2 1 2 It differs at what time yoiu catch Dr.A. Sometimes I wonder why I go to him and sometimes he is very good, but I do not think that he reads the notes he made in times past about your case  Respond

17/12/07 4 4 5 5 This Dr and his staff ensured they collected all required info from me and then asked me what I might want to know. The examination was always thorough and I left confident with the treatment recommended. Appreciation for my time evident over several years no complaints.  Respond

25/10/07 5 5 5 5 Although a visit with Dr. Adachi can be quick, I found he is very willing to answer any questions you have. He has helped me enormously and I am a changed person for his efforts. I walked in the office 2 yrs. ago in severe pain, suffering each day and night with pain, and I am currently able to do things for myself that I could not do for 2 years. (comb hair, dress myself, walk upright) Highest praise for Dr. Adachi and his wonderful assistant Marilyn Gordon and his office staff.  Respond

19/06/07 1 1 1 I would not recommend this dr. to anyone, I wouldn't even send my dog to him. I had more of an examination from his assistant (nurse) than him. I don't think he spent more than 4 minutes with me in the examination room. He didn't even look at my foot which I have severe osteoarthritis in it, all he said was that I should go down the hallway in his building and buy a brace which may or may not help. He said he wouldn't operate on me, should loose weight, meanwhile his assistant (nurse) is overweight and he could himself could loose some weight. Went back to my own physician who put me through to another specialist who is top notch! I went and got orthotics and the person that fitted me with them wondered why I was wearing such an unusual brace, said it was doing absolutely no good at all. In future I will stick with my own physician who knows more!  Respond

16/05/07 5 5 5 Dr. Adachi is friendly and knowlegable. If it were not for him and his diagnostic skills, I would be in a wheelchair. Instead, I am an active woman in my sixties. His staff is great and his nurse is wonderful.  Respond

13/03/07 1 1 1 Mr. (not a typo) Adachi overbooks, continually runs late even at 10 in the morning and has no time for questions but you are required to fill out a 10+ page questionaire each time you see him which he rarely looks at if you've even had the chance to finish filling it out. I saw him for three years. Not once in that time did he do a physical exam even though at the age of 46 I was diagnosed with osteo-porosis and a spine of an 80 year old.  Respond

13/03/07 1 1 1 following MRI's, Cat Scans, Bone Scans, and Xrays, and blood test I was referred to this doctor for Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. He met with me, found I am not financial employeed, although I do work with THE LOCAL POLICE, ANIMAL RESCUES, AS WELL HAVE MY OWN FAMILY AND FRIENDS I CARE FOR AND HELP WITH HOUSE WORK, SHOPPING ETC... This man, I do not refer to as a doctor, stated I am just fat and lazy. Being 5 ft 5 inches, weighing in at 130 lbs, Very active and following two serious injuries to my spine, following surgeries not only on spine but a few other parts of my body. He also referred to highly respected specialist that have cared for me in the past for neurosugery and orthopedic surgery, as push overs and out for the money. This person should not even come close to having a medical degree if it is a valid one. I think the medical board needs to look into his obtaining such a thing.  Respond
