He does not explain about procedures. He tried to perform a radical hysterectomy that would bring me to the menopause. I looked for a second opinion. This radical approach was not needed. I was lucky to find another doctor. Unfortunately he looks a your organs as if they have a price tag. I hear he has a big business with pregnant women. If that is not your case, you are endangered with him. Save your life and stay away from him.

Excellent doctor, wonderful bedside manner, patient & caring when answering your questions or concerns. Dr. Blumenthal has a wealth of "current" information that he is more than willing to share with his patients. Delivered both of my children. Been with him for 20+ years and wouldn't think of changing unless he stopped practicing. I have lived in other states and continued to come back to Chicago when I needed a doctor. Several other family members have also chosen him as their doctor.

I just want to say that I agree with all the great comments about this doctor. He has been my gynecologist for 20 years. I fly home to see him now that I live out of state! Not only is he kind but he's very knowledgable. I hope I never have to go anywhere else.

I love Dr Blumenthal. He delivered my son and made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. I do agree with another post about his nurse. I feel she is very rude and had a terrible bedside manner. I felt like she was judging me on more than one occasion. But Dr Blumenthal is wonderful and I never thought that I would go to a male OB (I started out seeing a female doctor in the practice). But decided to stay with him after he was the one to deliver my baby. I highly recommend him to other women.

Dr. Blumenthal has been my doctor for over 20 years. He is the best doctor ever. Like everyone else has said, he is caring, gentle and very knowledgeable. I only wish all doctors in their specific field were as good as him. He delivered both my sons. I love Dr. Blumenthal!! If there are negative posts on this web site they could never be about him. If you have a problem with the office staff, you should not rate the doctor negatively.

Dr. Blumenthal always made me feel like he remembered me and what we have talked about or experienced in the past. He was very kind and always spent as much time with me as needed - I never felt like he was rushing to the next patient. I had great experiences at both of his offices. I have recommended him to many friends.

Dr. Blumenthal is a very caring and gentle doctor. He is very informative and goes out his way to answer any question you might have. I appreciate the relationship that he builds with his patients. Great doctor.

Dr. Blumenthal has delivered all of my children. He is extremely professional and calm in the face of crisis. He took the time to develop a relationship with my husband to insure that our birthing experience was everything we wanted it to be.
