I am so lucky to have found Dr. Archibald..she delivered my 4 year old son and about to deliver my second. She is so amazing and knowledgeable. She never makes you feel like any problem is too small..can't say enough good things about her!

Shauna is a wonderful family doctor. She is a great listener, refers us when appropriate and is great with my three kids (she saw me through two pregnancies and deliveries). I am confident in her knowledge and skills and I love her bedside manner. I appreciate that she is open to alternative therapies as well. My only complaints about her practice is the parking (difficult with three young children to park on such a busy street) and it can be difficult to get through to her reception. (Her reception staff, both Dawn and especially Susan have always been wonderful to deal with as well.

I liked many things about Shauna, especially how relaxed she made me feel throughout my entire pregnancy. I have the tendancy to overreact or get all worked up about every little thing but Shauna was very reassuring and very knoweledgable. I don't think that I would have survived the pregnancy mentally without a doctor like Shauna - she is a great listener and is very understanding. I never felt embarassed to talk about aches, pains and feelings and she NEVER minimized any issues that I brought up - I never felt silly about how I was feeling! I would recommend Shauna to every pregnant woman, expecially first timers like me!

Dr. Archibald has provided the best health care experience I have ever had throughout my life. She is truly an exceptional person and anyone who is able to get her as a doctor would be lucky.

Dr. Archibald was my family doctor when I was pregnant about 3+ years ago. She always had a positive attitude and made me feel comfortable. She was really good with the baby after she was born. I have switched doctors only for the purpose so everyone in my family would have the same doctor. If I didn't have a doctor, I would still be with her.

I feel that Dr. Archibald is an amazing woman and Dr. Even if I am feeling stressed before I go see her, her smiling face and mannerism calms me down. She listens well and gives excellent advice. She is also very thorough. I hope she will be my doctor forever. She has a heart of gold and I think the world of her. I have nothing bad to say about her. She's just amazing.

Excellent doctor. Willing to listen,and refer if additional info. is needed. Genuinely compassionate and open to discuss alternative treatment and medications. Has insight regarding assessing social factors impacting a persons health. I am very pleased with her care and would not hesitate referring anyone lucky enough to get her as a doctor.

Dr Shauna is one of the lovliest people I know. We feel so lucky to have her for our doctor. She is incredibly sensitive and bright.

Dr. Archibald is the most empathetic care giver I have known. I have never felf hurried; she listens intently and explains not only the course of treatment but the reasons and alternatives. Excellent and valued relationship.

I was a patient of Dr. Jim's. When she left, I was told that another doctor was "taking over her patients", and I was not told of any requirement on my part to validate or protect this new relationship. I have not had need of care at the practice since that time, until today, when I was told that it had been too long since my last visit for me to still be considered a patient. Given the scarcity of doctors in Halifax who are taking new patients, this kind of a policy surely requires a robust system of advance notification associated with it. I can't think of any other type of business or service operating on a model of ongoing "accounts" with customers that would consider cutting off service without any warning. I have initiated a complaint process with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.

I use to see Dr. Jim before she moved away. Dr. Archibald replaced her and I admit I was a bit worried about having to change doctors after so many years, but she has made the transition very easy and she is truly an excellent doctor.

I have seen many doctors, and she has been the best! She is very thorough and on top of everything with my pregnancy. She is very warm,friendly and makes you feel comfortable. She never rushes you and wants to hear any concerns you may have.

Dr. Archibald is my family doctor and has been for a few years. I took for granted what a great doctor she was before I travelled to the US and UK where I dealt with other physicians and other medical systems. I have come to realize that Dr. Archibald is a gem. She is a great communicator, she always makes you feel better than when you came in, and she is never in a rush. The bad news is that if you aren't currently her patient you aren't likely going to be able to use her. I believe she has stopped taking new patients.

Shauna is amongst the best in Halifax. She is friendly and has been very supportive. Takes time to explain things. But for one of her receptionists, who is always high-strung, I look forward to meeting Shauna. Her other staff member, Susan, is excellent.

One of the nicest doctors and people I have ever met. Goes way above and beyond the call of duty for her patients. Not overly experienced with obstetrics (an infection was missed) but with more experience she will be one of the best family doctors in Nova Scotia.

On the ball and knows her game. My daughter (2 years old) loves "Dr. Shauna". Never a long wait to be see for an appointment or in the waiting room. Confident and positive. I recomended her to my closest freinds.

Very kind, caring and really listens. Much compassion. Willing to refer when needed. Treats my children and me with respect. Always able to get an appointment when truly needed. Office staff very friendly and nice.

She's a wonderful person and doctor. I feel confidant taking my son to her knowing that she's a mom herself. Not having the opportunity to have her in the delivery room yet, I know without a doubt that she'll be awesome. It's also very reasuring that she'll follow my child's medical history from birth right to adulthood. My whole family goes to her, and we all think she's wonderful.

An excellent physician. She was the on-call obstetrics doctor while my doctor was out of town, and she was very kind and answered all of my questions. She is efficient, knowledgable, and has a great bedside manner. Went out of her way over a long weekend to make sure me and the baby were well taken care of.

This is a great Doctor. I highly recommend her to anyone. She's very friendly, gentle and caring. What knowledge she doesn't have for your questions, she will find out and let you know.
