Dr. Anders is an amazing Dr....he took me in as a patient 2 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. He always took the time to listen to my concerns, and explained everything in terms I could understand. He was there when I was in labour and even called my house to make sure me and baby were doing good. I have NEVER had a problem getting in for appointments, and have never felt rushed. I am sooo greatful to have him as our family Dr!!! :)

Doctor Anders quite literally brought me into this world and has been my Doc ever since. He can be a bit brash sometimes and I can understand how someone can take him negatively if they aren't capable of understanding where he is coming from. He uses a very common sense and no nonsense approach. I wouldn't say he's a Doctor that's going to hold your hand through every little thing but he is a terrific Doctor. Always helpful and consistent in his professionalism. I've never felt rushed or dismissed.

Has been our family Dr since we moved to town five years ago, has been helpful for a variety of medical issues for our family. He has always been willing to spend the time we need to discuss our health issues. Very good with our two children.

Dr Anders has been my family doctor since I was a child. Now he the doctor for my family. He has been incredibly supportive of my wife and daughter who suffer from chronic health challenges. He has been there for us many times and is incredibly knowledgeable as a GP. Many of the nurses at RIH speak very highly of him and his bedisde manner. Yes sometimes he is late but what doctor isn't? And if you ask him you will find out he was deleivering a baby... not many GPs do that anymore.

I have had DR, Anders as my family physician for 8 years. He has always provided me useful information while at the same time being realistic about my physical condition.

took myself my husband as patients when no one else in Kamloops was accepting new patients after our son was killed in a car accident. He is always there to listen to your needs and explains everything in great detail. Shows compassion and understanding and takes what ever time is needed, he may run late but that is because he doesn't run his patients out the door.

I was disappointed again and again for years by this man. He came highly recommended, however he was dismissive and condescending. He misdiagnosed my eye infection calling it allergies even though I insisted that it was a contact lens gas permeability problem caused by improper fluid selection. He didn't like being told what it was so he disagreed with me! After talking with the lens company he re diagnosed me and would not admit his previous mistake! COULD HAVE LOST MY SIGHT! SUFFERED FOR MORE THAN A MONTH! He is arrogant and has poor listening skills. I had a digestive illness for many years and despite my clear description of symptoms Anders told me it was psychosomatic and tried to put me on brain meds! He also told me to meditate! DANGEROUS IDIOT! I self diagnosed though much research and found out I had a parasite! I treated myself and passed the parasite and the suffering ended. Thanks for causing me to doubt myself and prolong my suffering Anders. At least he is consistent!

He is unable to relate to elderly people and issues with Alzeimers is prejudiced. Staff is along the same line. We have had much better help from the local walk-in clinic.

I have been going to Ben Anders for over 20 and he is the best. Only complaint is he is always running late and that is because he doesn't rush his patients out the door after a few minutes. He sits and listens to you and is always knowledgeble.

Dr. Anders has been my doctor for over 20 years. I am grateful to him for many, many things, but in the past few years I have noticed that he has become less humble and more arrogant. He now acts like a specialist on all matters, which is potentially dangerous, in my view. Sometimes I find it very frustrating to discuss non-straightforward matters with him.

Dr. Ben is a good person, but didn't really spend the time with me to listen to what I had to say. I felt shrugged off a lot of the time. After much heartache, I finally left to get a second opinion, where I was finally diagnosed. I felt really like a 'flake' and that it was 'all in my head' before that, which can be very demeaning. I feel like Dr. Anders is excellent at treating standard medical conditions, but is dismissive of you if you aren't a straight forward case.

I can't complain about waiting for this Doctor I have never been turned away and always have been squeezed in if there was a serious concern. My family has always loved Dr.Ben

I have recently left Dr. Anders with my two daughters as I find him not very understanding when it comes to woman problems. I don't go to the Dr. very often and when I go it is for something important and I don't feel the connection with him that I should.

Best doctor in Kamloops. Cares about you and your family. Never forgets anything. You can always get in, and if not at least a phone call. My boys have been with him since birth and are now young men and he has been great with them. His receptionist is the best too!

If he has available time he will see you without an appointment. My husband was on his way to the clinic when he stuck his head in Dr. Andres office after hours and was seen by Dr Anders. Very compasionate with our family when a member was dying of cancer. Took my family in as patients after another Dr had upset us and we were uncomfortable in seeing him again as patients. Dr Anders understood our feelings and has treated our family with respect. Our son is has a condition that requires his to be on medication for the rest of his life and Dr Anders is helpful in answering our questions and if he does not no the answers he tries to find them for us. Also when I was ill he would call to see how things were and even check on the rest of the family. He his a great Dr and we are lucky to have him in Kamloops.

Best Dr. Our family has ever had. Because he cares he is always running late, but no one minds, you know when you get in you will have the best care. He is great with all ages and very progressive.

wonderfull doctor. readily available if we need to get in the same day. Phones back the same day and when my daughter was quite ill he phoned every day to check up on her. has dropped in at hospital appointments if there and has willingly taken calls at home. very gentle and personable manner, and remebers personal details. my children enjoy seeing him.

Dr. Anders is the best! He's a great listener and adresses all concerns very promptly. When I call for an appointment, I can usually get in within a day or two whereas some of my friends have to wait weeks to see their doctor.
