Secretary (older lady's voice) is extremely mean!!! I changed my mind to even apply as a new patient! Well, secretary is the face and heart of a practice so this one doesn't sound welcoming! :0)

I don't know if this guy has trouble with English or if he just didn't pay attention in med school. I have red/white blotchy skin and he tells me that it's my nature. He went on to say that it was a blood vessel issue so I asked him "so you're saying this is not your area of expertise and I should go see another specialist?". He says "no, its just in your nature to have this skin."...What the hell is that supposed to mean?! There has to be a remedy and if you don't know the answer (which is okay) then admit it and say that you'll find out!...This guy didn't even want to admit that he didn't know how to fix my issue. Yet, he carries on like he knows everything. Avoid him like the plague! His secretaries are mean too.

I HAD A MOLE PROBLEM AND DOCTOR ABADIR WAS EXTREMELY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. I WAS VERY HAPPY AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM ANY TIME. I DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT TOO MUCH UNTIL I GOT AN APPOINTMENT. THE PLACES WHERE THE MOLES WERE REMOVED CURED QUITE QUICKLY AND EXTREMELY NICE. THEREFORE I CAN ONLY THANK HIM AND BE GRATEFUL

Staff and doctor don't seem to be very approachable and friendly. You usually get to see the doctor 30 min after your scheduled appointment (long line-ups). You are put on hold on the phone for about more than 5 min. Doctor seems caring and knowledgeable.

The receptionist's attitude is very bad. Honestly I would never go back to visit the doctor again just for that reason.

He came to our community to take over a family practice. Not too long after he arrived he began to decrease his office hours. He began to work more in Emergency (therefore receiving more dollars per patient) and his wife receptionist didn't have to work in his office and do paperwork because the nurses in Emergency took care of this while he was on duty there. He is taking up valuable office space within the hospital - but he is not serving his patients, because they have to wait so long to get an appointment (because he only has office hours 1 day per week).

I have been going to Dr. Abadir for over 6 years and have found him to be a very kind and caring man. He made a quick diagnosis which possibly could have saved my life. He called me at home at night to explain the outcome, and set up appointments for me within 3 days. I couldn't ask for a better doctor.

This Dr. has zero personality and doesn't give you more than 3-5 minutes per visit, after you have waited 35 minutes to see him. I saw him for sun spots on my arms and leg. He only sprayed my arms and told me to come back in 6 weeks and he would do my legs. He could have done both at the same time but this way he gets another visit or 2 paid by OHIP. I think this is taking advantage of our health care system and increases our health costs.

I went to him a while back & the difference he made was so positive that I was tearful in my gratitude. I wanted to get pregnant so treatment for my acne was limited. My FP was not helpful & said I would just have to put up with it unless I took meds which were contraindicative to pregnancy but Dr Abidir prescibed topical antibiotics . I am not pregnant yet but my skin is glowing!!

I went to see him for Acne problems. He's a doctor that will recommend drugs for you to use if you don't know what you want. But if you do want to use a particular drug (like Accutane for example) he's open to that as well. So it seems like he's open to any suggestion the patients make on what they want to take. And if they have no opinion, he'll start w/ the typical drug that every other doctor uses. He's a soft-spoken and fairly polite doctor. Sometimes I could tell that he was impatient when my mom kept asking him questions, but he tried not to show it. So overall, I'd say he's okay. Just an average doctor I suppose.

I have vitiligo and Dr. Wadid refused to prescribe the NB-UVB saying it caused cancer. I told him that I am using tanning salons so if he prescribed NB-UVB it would be more effective and safer. He said I can continue using tanning salons and he would not presribe NB-UVB. From all the research I've done, the NB-UVB seems a lot safer and comes in hand-held units meaning you don't have to expose the whoe body to the light. It is also one of the most effective treatments of Vitiligo.

I feel deceived by this doctor, seems to always have a prescription agenda. I have had psoriasis for over 10 years, I know what topical medications work best but he refused to prescribe them and perscribed his own version of similar drugs? Also, he lied about the type of UV treatment used and I wouldn't have started treatment had he told me that he was using broadband light to begin with. I need narrow band UV light and he has made thousands from the government by not answering my question truthfully. Essentially he seems to be abusing the OHIP system.
