I went to this office with a mole on my back that had changed. I was charged my $50 co pay for her to take one look at it and say nothing other then well its a little alarming and we will need to remove it and then I was told I would need to pay upwards of $500 and it would need to be paid up front. Then I was shoed out of the room. Since I have Insurance I was told it would cost 209 and I would have to pay another co pay. I was told the results would be in in two weeks. Well it has now been over two weeks and I have called everyday to get the results and no one has bothered to call me back. I was told I would have to come back for a fallow up visit which would cost me another 50 dollars. After telling the girl that answered the phone I do not have to the money to come back in so this women can take a 5 second look at the hole in my back to make sure it is healing correctly. I am still waiting to hear the results. I sure hope its not cancer. I would take your business elsewhere.

Dr P is a wonderful Dr and person.
I have been a patient of hers off and on for 25 years. I have never waited to see her and she is always wonderful to me and my family.
Dealing with the public can be taxing on the best day so if her staff was rude to someone (which I can't imagine) they probably where being rude and demanding to the staff. The customer is not always right.
Doctor P is an excellent Doctor.

Dr. Polinger seemed to know her stuff. She is a self-proclaimed "skin detective". Alas, her bedside manner is shameful at best and unprofessional. I felt as if I were taking her time away. She was always in an absolute hurry to get out of the exam room--this AFTER my 1 and sometimes 2 hour waits in the exam room. Her services were costly and she made me pay for a visit that was only 2 mins long! My experience with Dr. Polinger are uniform--horrible. If a doctor is well educated and experienced, her bedside manner, demeanor, disposition and punctuality ought to be on par, this is not the case with Dr. Polinger. Don't get me started on her uncourteous and unprofessional staff...I think it may be because of who they work for!

I've always had a pleasant experience with Dr. Polinger. She took all the time I needed to deal with my issues. She's been in practice a long time and knows her stuff.

My visits with Dr. Polinger have always been very pleasant. She is always cordial and she and the nurses are usually punctual. The clerks have even applied samples of makeup to my face that I wanted to try for purchase. I don't know why my experiences have gone so well; but maybe other people had to wait so long because they weren't a little early for their appt time. The medications and everything may be a little expensive; but when trying to take care of a somewhat cosmetic condition... you're always going to spend money.

Dr. Pollinger is the nicest and most sweet person. The wait in the waiting area was terrible and her nurse really tough and serious. However, the visit with her was really good and she convinced us as someone knowledgeable. I would visit her again, even when I have to deal with her unpolite staff.

The office staff was not very friendly. When the doctor came in, I could tell that she was in a hurry and really did not have time for me or my questions.

My appointment was @ 9:45 and did not see the Doctor until 11:15. Once I did see her she was in a hurry to get out. Will never go back!!

This is the BEST dermatologist to see. Dr. Polinger and her staff are very caring and helpful. I will definately be going back to her and recommending her to others!

My experience with Dr. Polinger and her staff has been excellent! I did not encounter any problems and I have been seeing her for six months.

All of you people must be rude to begin with. Dr. Polinger is a very nice, very knowledgeable woman. Her methods work superbly, her medication works excellently, and her staff is nice so long as you are. I think that every previous rating was by a child or ignoramous.

Dr. Polinger is a good Doctor. Having said that, her staff are some of the rudest women I have ever been around. Dr. Polinger has never been rude to me but it is very clear that its all about money. I don't think I'll ever go back. Hopefully she will read this and hire some new office staff.

I thought that I was going to a good doctor. Shame on me for not checking into references before I went to see Dr. Polinger. I waited for almost 1 hour and when I went to the back, I waited again for a while in the room. My visit lasted maybe 3 minutes and when I left, I was confused on what I needed to do. I would not recommend seeing her, not helpful at all

I went to see Dr. Polinger for acne. She recommended special soap, shampoos and medications which ALL added up to be too much $$$$. I asked if there were any other recommendations and she basically wrote me off saying, "you should do what I say or you are wasting my time". She is so rude and got mad for asking questions. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR! And the wait time....over 1 hour....HORRIBLE!

I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS DR AGAIN, OR REFER MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO HER, SHE IS VERY RUDE, AND HER STAFF IS NOT VERY HELPFUL. I WENT FOR ACNE AND SHE WANTED ME TO BUY THE SHAMPOO AND OTHER STUFF FOR MY ACNE, I COULD NOT AFFORD IT, AND SHE SAID I WAS WASTING HER TIME, I MADE A FOLLOW UP APPT WITH DR. KELLY HEARNE, AND SHE WAS A BETTER DR THEN HER, I ADVISE EVERYONE TO GO SEE THIS DOCTOR. DR POLINGER IS VERY RUDE!!!!!!!

Why would you see a horrible doctor when you can see a good one. I made a mistake and saw dr. polinger. her staff forgot to register me in the Ipledge system (govenm regulated system for accutane prescription). When I went to recieve my RX for accutane she said she couldn't give it to me. No apology and No money back. I asked her why I should pay if there was no point of me coming, esp. since her staff made the mistake. she said "life's tough". Is this normal behavior for a doctor. I think not- and I'm a med student. Her office is also growing mold. and worst of all, you can hear her diagnosing patients in the other room and talking about them outside to her nurses.

I didn't like her or her staff-she ignored telephone and postal inquiries. And her staff was rude and would not follow up on a patient's account (not even for an insurance representative).

I had waited for at least one hour for the last two times I visited her. She was not very patient and spent very little time with her patients. Also not very good and even care listening to me. I went there for the 2nd time since the medicine was working. Despite the poor experience above, I think she must be good at her knowledge since there are so many patients out there waiting in the clinic (sometimes you have to trust the market. People are there for good reasons).

This doctor has a huge ego problem. She talks about other doctors and brags about herself. Her main concern is money. I've heard her yell at the staff about getting the money first. Sooo unprofessional. I hated her. You will too!

She became extremely angry because I chose to get an acne treament done at another place instead of at her office (My insurance did not cover it to be done at her place so it would have been too expensive) She did not bother to listen or respect me at all as her patient. After leaving the office and even talking about scheduling for my next appointment, I received a letter in the mail saying that I could no longer be her patient and needed to find another doctor. I DO NOT recommend her. She is rude and disrespectful and could not even give me a proper explanation of why the treament HAD to be done at her office only. DO NOT go to this docor. Waste of money and a waste of time! (unless you like having to wait at least an hour just to see her for 5 minutes)

Staff extremely unhelpful and rude. Lied about my insurance deductible and overcharged me. Dr. seems ok enough but was outraged when told I wore Merle Norman makeup. Not a real good patient/physician manner

During my visit I felt that I was treated horribly.I would NEVER recommend this doctor to my family and friends. I felt this visit was a complete waste of time and money.Overall I would rate this visit : AWFUL!
