:) Click to report rating    12/14/09 5 5 5 Dr. Jensen is very supportive and has helped me identify and address my adult ADD issues with both medication and also mental strategies and good habits for becoming more organized. He is also very helpful and knowledgeable about how ADD can be undermining success in other areas (weight loss) and has great insights there. He and his staff are very friendly and accommodating and I've never had to wait very long at all to be seen. He is open and attentive and really tries to understand the whole picture of what is contributing to your physical symptoms of depression, a.d.d., etc.

:( Click to report rating    11/20/09 3 5 1 Arrogant. Condescending. He even said that he was not interested in what brought me there. Gave me a sample and told to come back. I did not go back and would never recommend him to anyone. Ever. Evening appointment. No staff present other than the dog who was nice.

:( Click to report rating    8/29/09 4 5 1 He was very punctual. That was the only good thing about him. Unusually fearful of malpractice, to the point where patient care suffers for his inability to act. Hard to establish a relationship with him due to his superiority complex, often felt judged during the appointment. I would not recommend him.

:( Click to report rating    8/2/09 1 5 1 Dr. Jensen starts his appointments right on time and kicks you out right at your appointment ending time. He just tells you to make another appointment. My insurance says that I should be responsible for eleven dollars and change. For some odd reason his office makes me responsible for about forty-six dollars. If you see this doctor make sure that he does not rip you off. They told me that I would be getting a huge refund for all the money I gave to his office after my insurance pays him. Instead, after my insurance paid him they said I owed him more money!

:) Click to report rating    7/22/09 1 3 3 I saw Dr. Jensen for about 18 months and while his advice was aimed at making me feel better, his attitude was fairly casual about serious issues I was having in life. Add to that the time spent talking about him, his friends, or former patients and I wasn't getting his full attention. Additionally, his staff (particularly his account manager) is hostile to say the least. She claimed I missed an appointment, then claimed she called and wrote me at my former address-her sole effort in contacting me about said, claimed bill. Even though they have had my cell phone on record since the beginning and could have contacted me directly 24/7. It took seven months, but eventually their office did get my attention when a bill from a collectiona gency was forwarded to my new address, for $195.xx!!! I ended up paying $117, in a form of legalized blackmail ("If you pay, we won't let this go to collections and to your credit report"). It too bad his own staff doesn't practice what he preaches.

:) Click to report rating *  4/24/09 5 4 5 I have been with this doctor since 2003. I have read some of the other comments and wanted to add my own. He has been extremely helpful, patient, genuine, trying new stuff and has been open to my suggestions for changes. He has a small office with friendly, helpful people. He also has a website with a lot of helpful ideas. Not only has ne helped me, but I have heard many of his other clients say how they have saved their lives or their kids. I totally recommend checking him out.

:| Click to report rating    1/26/08 4 3 1 He's knowledgeable and polite, but he doesn't care very much about patients. He has cut off our appointments before the 15 minutes was up. And even though our appointments are so short he often talks about himself and doesn't let me talk. I have to interrupt him to bring anything up. They botched some paperwork I needed for a patient-assistance program the other day, also. That mistake cost me $250. I never got an apology for that (although I never asked for one). He also tends to insist that you come in anytime you need him to do anything--even if it's an emergency. If you need him to call someone, for example, you'll have to come in. I had him do that the other day, but he called my house--for some reason--instead. He makes me set up an appointment every two months to get my medicine. I can't really afford it, though, since I'm a dirt-poor student. I've seen him for five years, but I've had enough.

:| Click to report rating    2/19/07 5 3 Dr. Jensen is an interesting guy. His website (http://www.harrisjensen.medem.com/) reveals a lot about his style with patients. I feel bad rating him rather low, as he was a very nice, friendly guy, but I didn't think he was very knowledgable or helpful. He was very happy to prescribe one medication, which ironically is a tightly scheduled one, but hesitant to try anything else. Overall, though, he is very cheap and is willing to offer therapy and see patients as often as needed. There is also a dog that roams around in the office, which makes the place very relaxing and inviting.
