Horrible horrible experience with Dr DAmico. I had a breast lift with augmentation and liposuction on my abdomen. The garment they had me in afterwards was TOO tight and when I called after surgery to tell them I was in pain they said it was supposed to be tight. So I came in for my check up and this arrogant doctor had the nerve to tell me I should have called and shouldnt have worn it! He continued telling me to wear it when I couldnt even touch the skin on my stomach it was so sensitive. My abdomen is so disfigured from this experience. Aside from Dr DAmico making a mess of both my breasts and my abdomen, he is dismissively arrogant! PLEASE DON'T MISTAKE HIS ARROGANCE FOR KNOWLEDGE! That's what I did. Find someone you are comfortable with, who doesn't make you feel like a piece of meat. I have had two revisions with another doctor since Dr DAmicos botched surgeries to fix his mistakes and its still not fixed but its getting there. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!

Had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction, and saline implants.I am very thin and saline left creases on my cleavage.Didn't complain,no more breast cancer. He encouraged me to replace them with silicone.(why hadn't he done that in the first place)Staff talked me into it.No big deal, just a replacement. It would be better.Came in to mark me up while I was drifting into unconsciousness, said he'd have to go lower.I remember saying no.Woke up,and was discharged. Went home, and slept until morning.Awoke with so much fluid in my chest. He did not use drains, put bigger implants than the original size so he had to make pockets bigger and I wound up with no cleavage.I had fluid drained weekly for months. gave up...went back at urging from my breast cancer MD.She said it should be fixed.Told him what was going on,how uncomfortable I felt, showed him and he said he had to show me something.Came in with red faced woman who had had a chemical peel and said that he could get rid of my sun spots...

Do not use him for Lipo - my stomach is horribly disfigured and he would not provide any responses. He sent me to therapy for edema - it didn't help, its been six months and no improvement. His bedside manner is arrogant.

Considering how allegedly 'renowned' he is, he did a horrific job on my nose. He is obviously not the surgeon to go to if you want acceptable results. For $8000, all he did was correct my nasal bone. I'm sure a surgeon in the middle of nowhere, Kansas could've done a significantly better job. My tip is a train wreck and literally protrudes/droops 4 inches off my face. My nostrils are uneven, not to mention flaring. I've been trying to schedule a revision for several months and his staff is very uncooperative. I call numerous times a week and they never return my calls. The secretary is unbearably arrogant and a burden to deal with.

Dr. D'Amico and his staff are so caring. I had a mastectomy and he did my breast reconstruction 3 years ago. I felt so safe in their care. I am now having LIPOSUCTION!!

I switched from my dermatologist to Dr. D'Amico for my botox and juvederm. What a big difference it makes going to a plastic surgeon who understands facial structure. I pay a little more then I did with my derm but it is worth it.

Thank you for giving me my body back! After having 3 children I wore a jacket to hide my tummy. Dr. D'Amico explained that in addition to removing the extra skin I would need to have my muscles repaired. He went in to great detail explaining the effects of pregnancy on the muscles. I had my tummy tuck a few months ago and am "proud" of my body this summer. My incision healed well and the surgery wasn't painful because of a pain pump that Dr. D'Amico used. I not only look better but having the muscles done has also helped me with my back aches. Dr. D'Amico is so caring and his nurses and office staff were wonderful. I can't tell you enough what a wonderful experience I had and what a difference the surgery has made. I tell all my friends...if you are thinking of having surgery, go to Dr. D'Amico.

I had a breast reduction by Dr. D'Amico and have FABULOUS results. I was so suprised that I didn't even take pain medication after my surgery. Dr. D'Amico was very caring and his staff attentive to detail. They wrote my insurance company (I was originally denied) but they were persistent and finally got me covered! It is so nice to be able to purchase stylish clothes and bathing suits. I am even at a gym now that I can exercise again. My daughter is now scheduled for a breast reduction with Dr. D'Amico. Thank you!!!!!!

I did not have a good experience. Yes, he's president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, but perhaps he should stick to a spokesperson role. His bedside manner leaves much to be desired, and I found him to be rude at times. In follow-ups, he seemed more interested in signing me up for other procedures than to check on my healing progress. Overall, he did an okay job on my procedure; I am still healing so it is difficult to know what the final result will be. If you're someone with a lot of questions and reservations, I am not sure he is the doctor for you.

Made an appt for consult. Was told the Dr would SHOOT that day. I said I want to make it clear it was a consult. Hmm -day b4 was cxld & when resched they again said I could get shots that day! Get to office -was empty, odd -odder, I wait! A woman takes me to a room tells me that the Dr has a "CLINIC" next week if I could COME BACK to get Botox or other injectibles, asked AM I going to see the dr? I hear HIM talking about placing ads in the paper -he then comes in I ask -I thought Surgeons were against having Botox Parties. He said it was a "CLINIC" uhah. He seemed VERY irritated that I was wasting HIS time having 2 see me for APPT & didn't want 2 come back for a Botox party, sorry "CLINIC" then he tells me I was too MORBIDLY OBESE 2 have any procedures? So why was the nurse & him telling me to come back to a clinic? by the by am 5'11" & wear a 16 & have had botox & restylane b4 w-great results!
