:) Click to report rating    1/20/09 5 4 5 I have been going to Dr. Taavon for 9yrs now, and can say without a doubt, he is an excellent dr with a wonderful bedside manner. He gives each of his patients time and listens to all your problems and does whatever you asks him to do on that visit, unless he thinks it is unnessasary. He nevers has you feel uncomfortable at any time during a pap smear, or breast exam. I am very pleased with his girls that work so closely to him and know that he loves what he does and continues to bring many beautiful little babies into this world each day. Sometimes he runs a little late, but what doctor doesnt, at least you know you are going to get the same time devoted to you each visit. CA

:( Click to report rating    9/6/07 1 1 1 The treatment that I received through this practice was the worst experience of my life and nearly cost me that. After slightly over 2 1/2 years of treatment and my symptoms continuing to get worse, I went for a second opinion. That OB found a Stage 1 Cervical Cancer on my very first visit. Dr. Taavon's office said that they had never performed a Pap Smear during the entire time that I had been going there. Blue Cross immediately kicked back charges for 2 annual visits that they had paid for, which they and I assumed were for pap smears/yearly exam. I then received a bill for these charges from this office, with a note that my insurance company did not pay it, (this was almost a year after my final visit and appr. 10 months after my complete hysterectomy). These charges were sent to the Credit Bureau when I refused to pay them.

:) Click to report rating    2/15/07 4 4 A competent doctor. Overall we were fairly pleased with his care. However, we would have liked more information about pregnancy care, engagement, and less humor from the doctor. Make sure you ask the doctor plenty of questions. He is too laid back and his answers are to short. My wife had to often consult with a friend, who was an out of state medical doctor and fortunately experienced in obstetrics. However, the doctor is a good listener and kind. Towards the end, he showed his strengths. My wife delivered a healthy baby.
