Dr. Baer is such an amazing doctor. He always made me and my friends that also use him feel like they were his ONLY patients. Answered all my questions professionally and was VERY knowledgeable. All the nurses at Memorial North Hospital LOVE him and would recommend him in a heartbeat. I truly couldn't ask for a better experience with Dr. Baer than I did with both of my boys. I would recommend him to ever pregnant mother out there.

I saw Dr. Baer a few times for my 4th pregnancy. I thought he was nothing special. I then decided I'd rather see a midwife than an OB. I tried to switch to the midwife in his office. He wouldn't allow it. He said I had to stay with him. I pleaded with him to no avail. I think it's very wierd. I ended up going to an entirely different office as a result. Does he have a complex about it? Maybe he's jealous that people would rather see someone else besides him! I was very disappointed that I couldn't see who I wanted because of him.

I lived in Colorado Springs for 11 years & had the opportunity to be a patient of his. He is absolutly WONDERFUL!! he is extremely polite,knowledgable & explains everything in great detail. He is the best OBGYN i have ever had. He performed my surgery perfectly. I live in Florida now & wish I had a Dr.as good as him. The Best!! M.Shering

DR BAER DELIVERED BOTH MY CHILDREN, AND I WOULDN'T HAVE HAD IT ANY OTHER WAY. I TRUSTED NO ONE BUT HIM. HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGABLE. DURING MY SECOND BIRTH I HAD OTHER OBS TELL ME THEY THOUGHT I HAD PLACENTA PREVIA, SO I MOVED BACK TO COLORADO, SO DR BAER COULD TREAT ME DURING THE REST OF MY PREGNANCY, AND IM GLAD I DID. I WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED HIM TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

We had planned for a homebirth, but, upon discovering I was carrying twins, we were put in a position to birth with an OB (midwives may not legally deliver known twins in CO). Upon researching all our options in CO Springs, looking for a naturally-minded OB, we happily landed with Dr. Baer. He was knowledgeable, trusting, skilled, and thorough. As another rater mentioned, he opened every appt with, "what questions do you have for me?" It was more than a plus that he attended the births of his patients. He worked exceptionally well with our chosen doula and oversaw the natural/unmedicated birth of our twins, a relatively uncommon occurence in the U.S. I'm pleased with our choice and never hesitate to recommend him to expectant friends in the area.

Dr Baer delivered our second son. He is very nice, knowledgeable and will take the time to explain things. I never felt rushed at my appointments. Had no problem doing a c-section. The only thing I did not like is that he doesn't have privileges at Penrose St Francis but Memorial Hosp.

I went to see Dr. Baer with issues regarding menopause. He was very attentive and spent time discussing my problem. His bedside manner was very professional and I felt comfortable sharing everything with him. He formulated a game plan to address my problem and assured me we could work this out. I was very impressed with his concern.

Went to him for 2nd opinion on a surgery. He was able to explain everything about the surgery in terms I could understand, including risks. My regular gyn is very "clinical" and while very competent, doesn't have much of a bedside manner and speaks dr-ese. I'm switching to Baer!

As a mom, doula and childbirth ed teacher as well as a med student I cannot say enough about Dr Baer - after interviewing several OB's in town he was the only one I could count on to be at my delivery and to support my decision for a VBAC. He answered each of my questions regardless of the time it took and when I wanted to double check on an issue during my pregnancy he did an extra ultrasound THAT day without question. He has been kind and courteous and obviously loves what he does - I'd recommend him to just about anyone.

I chose Dr. Baer to deliver my baby b/c a friend of mine had several MDs recommend C-sec. for her (due to baby having birth defects detected by ultrasound) and Dr. Baer agreed to let her deliver vaginally. Not being too quick to order surgery was VERY important to me. Also, he does all his own deliveries, so I liked knowing exactly who would be there at the birth, not just taking who's on call. He was kind when we miscarried and encouraging about trying again whenever we were ready. I like that he does an ultrasound w/ 1st visit & that he always asks "What questions do you have for me?", implying that he assumes you have questions & he's ready to take time to address them. I had a good birth experience overall. However, my baby was less than 6 lbs. & the pushing stage very short, yet I had an episiotomy that I thought was unnecessary. I would definitely recommend him- I think he's a good man and a good Dr.

Worst doctor ever... we lost our son and his horrific bedside manners made our loss much more painful... he is a good doctor but he was very unsensitive, didnt know how to handle our situation and he just never even follow up on us... like his office phrase says... Dr Baer delivers only the best... for him our son who died at birth never made the cut.. horrible and painful experience!

Fabulous! Couldnt have asked for a better dr. Come prepared to ask questions though, he wont talk your ear off unless you want him to.

He was the best Doc that I could have ever asked for. There were many issue when I was pregant. He delivered 2 of kids.I must say I was a little sad not to see him any more. Or hear about him and his daughters hunting trips. I just want to say thanks Dr Baer for everything. You were the best and me and my family will never forget you. Brandy S
