Dr.Katchan has been my families GP for more than 10 years when he took over the practice. He has always been easy to talk to and I feel confident in him for my husband and my medical support as well as our two small children. Sadly his MOA Terry has retired :( and I am not to pleased with the one filling in for Mat Leave for his new gal but I am hoping the new gal comes back as she was great!

We brought our 12 year old daughter with a stomach pain. He ran tests for pregnancy ( ! ). Later that night, she was operated with a burst appendix ( Peritonitis ). When we returned a week after she got out of the hospital, he was "surprised" to see her. Asked a few questions, never checked her out physically. We weren't impressed. Not caring at all.

Dr. Kachan has been my GP since I moved to Victoria in 2000. I am so lucky to have him for my doctor. He is patient, caring & very informative. He has helped me through some difficult times with kindness and compassion. I feel comfortable telling him anything. I don't feel uncomfortable asking questions about anything! He really listens and is able to offer options for treament.

Dr. Kachan is a caring, reliable, professional doctor. Both my husband and I think he is fantastic. He always answers all our questions and will take the time to explain what is happening. His office person, Terry, is every bit as wonderful.

Dr. Kachan has been my GP for a few years now, and I think he's amazing! Very knowledgeable but never arrogant or preachy, very personable, laid-back, and his appointments run fairly close to on time. His receptionist Terry is lovely too!

Dr Kachan is excellent. He is approachable, patient, compassionate and very knowledgeable. He takes the time to listen to ensure the correct diagnosis. To him you feel like a person not a subject and he has your best intentions at every visit. Also his office administrator, Terry, is likewise very understanding and approachable. Sadly, I have moved and cannot find a team as professional and pleasant to deal with as them.
