A good dentist is hard to find. After the unexpected passing of my last dentist, it had been years before I made my next appointment anywhere. When looking for a new dentist, I stumbled upon Dr. Zelaya's website. I called to book an appointment and was scheduled for only a few days later. Dr. Zelaya personally called to introduce himself shortly after and the staff called to confirm my appointment twice (which is terrific because I'm forgetful). At my first visit, Dr. Zelaya and his staff were so friendly, comforting, and made going to the dentist a not only enjoyable but, dare I say it, fun experience. I would recommend this dentist to anyone, but especially to someone who is apprehensive about the dentist. I'm sure they will find their fear absolutely vanquished.

Found Dr. Zelaya through Ratemd"s. I went for a consult for re-doing my veneers since I wasn't happy with them. I found Dr. Zelaya to be very casual, professional and informative. He took his time, took pictures of my veneers and answered every question i had before he began explaining what he found. In the middle of my visit he called over his office manager and he asked her to call his next two patients to let them know he was running 15 min, behind, very thoughtful. He was informative and never pushed a sales pitch like many other dentist have before. He advised me to return to my dentist and address all these questions that I have so perhaps he could fix my concerns. I will return to Dr. Zelaya's office for a full evaluation of my mouth and will refer all of my family and friends to his care.

Dr.Zelaya is the BEST dentist.no words can describe the professionalism and knowledge this man has about dentistry. I had decaying teeth behind veneers that I had gotten done else where. Dr. Zelaya not only fixed my smile he brought my confidence up. My family is going to him now too.This is the best dentist.

Dr. Zelaya is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. He took me right away and was extremely friendly and professional at the same time. I'm always apprehensive about going to the dentist but Dr. Zelaya made me feel comfortable and informed me step by step in detail what he was doing during the procedure which eased my mind and made the experience a lot less scary that I had expected. I plan on making him my permanent dentist and I would recommend him to everyone!

Best dentist you will find in the area. A specialist in every area of general/cosmetic dentistry, and an all-around great person as well. Dottie is wonderful to work with, very polite and professional. Our entire family has been going here for about 14 years, and we love the care and treatment we receive. We also like that Dr. Zelaya is very state of the art, constantly updating his skills and his equipment, so you know you are getting the most up to date treatment there is. We have sent many friends here as well. It is a great office, with great treatment and results! Highly recommended.

There is not enough space allowed here to accurately describe Dr. Z,his office and his staff. Incredibly caring & professional people, with amazingly state-of-the-art equipment & technology. I am a bit of a tech-freak, and even I was amazed at the system Dr. Zelaya uses. I am also a HUGE baby, with a sensitive mouth, so needless to say the dentist isn't my fav place in the world. Dr Zelaya was very "comfort conscious" and I have never had such a pain-free dentist visit as I did with him. The whole office is just great! The Office Manager Dottie was great also. It was an all around great experience. The days of my dentist dreading are over.

This was my first visit and I was made to feel extremely welcomed and comfortable. The staff was super polite and friendly; the doctor was right on time (no wait time at all) and the office was clean and equipped with the latest technology. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable. I will definitely return and recommend others. Caveat: I have not had a treatment just yet so I cannot comment on results.

The best dentist around. He corrected what other dentists had done and eliminated the pain from the other dental work. I have referred many friends to him and they too have been happy.

Dr. Zelaya, is great, the office staff is wonderful, professional and friendly. I love that i can always expect the very best there is to offer from Dr. Zelaya, he invests in technology and state of the art equipment which more comfortable, more effecient gives greater results. He is very skillful, creative and combined you have a someone who will always give you his very best. I am very happy here...

Haven't been to a dentist in years and found Dr. Zelaya to be great! His new equipment far surpassed the stoneage equipment my old dentist was using. I am so glad I switched and will definitely go every 6 months like I am supposed to!

I finally got my nerve up to see a dentist after 4 years of not seeing one. Dr. Zelaya restored my confidence in going to the dentist again. He was very professional, and very knowledgable with all the latest equipment. Most of all, he was painless. I needed a root canal and some fillings redone - he did it all in one visit. I was very pleased. His staff is very friendly and very helpful. Every thing he was going to do was explained clearly, even the bill afterwards. I highly recommend this dentist. I'm going back.

best service. was a walk in. never met me. instant repair of broken molar with root canal and crown. extremely talented,very understanding, highly recommended.found my regular dentist.

The entire staff of this office is helpful. I have been seeing Dr.Zelaya since he started his practice in Hawthorne. My son now also goes to him. He and his staff were very kind to my 92 year old mother. I greatly appreciated it. I am lucky I have such a good dentist and staff 10 minutes from my home.

Found this office through the Delta Dental web page. From my first contact with this office I was VERY impressed. So I checked RateMd's and decided to give them a try. Dr. Zelaya's ratings don't give him or his staff enough credit...are 10 ratings available? He was very busy but he took his time with me, his hygienest was very thorough and it was the best cleaning I've had. Insurance payments were fully explained and although I knew I had cavities I was surprised to see that recent fillings done had problems. GREAT OFFICE!!!

Dr. Zelaya was the absolute best dentist I've ever been to. I'm definitely not the easiest patient to deal with and he made me feel comfortable even through root canals. His staff is just as amazing as he is. They're attentive, kind and friendly. My only problem is I moved to Washington State and haven't been able to find another dentist like him ;-) Thank you Dr. Z. I miss you and your staff very much :)

WOW!!!What an experience. The entire office was a charm. I have been going to dentist my entire life and have never learned more in the 75 minutes I spent in this office. Dr. Zelaya was an absolute pleasure, he was informative and listened to everything I said. He explained all his findings by showing me on a TV screen and his hygienest took my blood pressure and did a "Cancer Screening" with a Velscope (spelling). I will never go anywhere else!!!!

Dr.Zelaya is not only an artist, but, has such a good bed-side manner. His fees may be higher than other offices, however, "you get what you pay for!" I'd rather pay more and have a healthy mouth than pay less and have to get things re-done over and over!!! His team is wonderful too which makes your visit even more worth it! :)

Dr. Zelaya is a wonderful dentist who seems to really know his teeth. I would recommend him to every one. The only problem is that insurance does not cover all of his fees

How wonderfull of an experience. I have been to many dental offices, this has been the best experience I have ever had. Dorothy, the office manager is the BEST! She makes everything better. DR. Zelaya is the best dentist I have ever met, he's gentle, understanding and more importantly he doesn't HURT!!!!!

My family has been going to Dr Zelaya for 12+ years now because we consider him to be the best of the best. Whether your visit is for a routine dental cleaning or a more extensive dental procedure, you can rest assured that you will receive the best service available. Dr Zelaya and his team will treat you professionally and with true care and concern. I have recommended him for years, especially to friends and family who have a "dentist phobia" because Dr Zelaya is the most gentle dentist you will ever meet.

I must say that Dr. Zelaya and his entire office are the most professional individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From my initial phone call to the expertise of Dr. Zelaya, I was totally impressed. All of my concerns were addressed, even problems that I thought were related to my mouth, Dr. Zelaya addressed. They performed a cancer screening that no one else has ever done, he has this Velscope (spelling) which detects possible cancer long before it shows up in my mouth. I'm so impressed with Dr. Zelaya that I will refer him and his office to all my friends and relatives.
