I had the misfortune of seeing him for surgery. I waited 5 hours for my 1st appointment, I was given little prep information for the day of surgery and sent home with no information or post-op care. First my eye filled with blood, but he did answer me via email. Then I felt small strings floating in my eye, ands it turned out it was the stitches. The general outcome was abysmal. There was no change in the strabismus in my eye. I went for a post op meeting and he told me that there was nothing he could do, but if I wanted another surgery, he would do it because he makes money on it. I walked out. I managed to find an another surgeon, who was just excellent in every way and she successfully corrected it. Aftercare was wonderful as was her staff. She happened to be trained under Dr. Ing. Unbelievable difference. I would NEVER recommend this man.

Dr. Edsel Ing is excellent — the eye surgery was smooth, and there’s barely any visible mark.

I think the negative reviews here are a bit dated, because my experience with Dr. Ing was completely fine. Not just fine actually, rather amazing! He fixed my bilateral strabismus and was SO caring and kind. Took extra time after surgery to see if I had questions. Took time with my spouse to explain everything and aftercare. Wonderful and really inteligent man along with his very knowlledgeable staff. The old reviews are a bunch of BS in my view. Probablly people who are rude and demanding themselves, expecting to be "heard" when they weren't listening the first time. He literally is the best.

Dr, Ing operated on my son, Mitchell. Brilliant and excellent are two words I would use to describe him. Extremely knowledgeable. Totally professional as well as funny and friendly. Highly recommend him for muscle re alignment!

Horrible person, crappy and soulless fake demeanour.. crap doctor.. this “man” doesn’t care about people, doesn’t care about getting back to patients..called his office numerous times, haven’t heard back…prior to this new office which is extremely rude, his old office was just as horrible.. Disgusting business practice all around..ignores major concerns!!!!! Even though they may not be major to him.. they could be major to the patient…(kindness, a small bit of empathy and an iota of compassion goes a long way, also a doctor who displays basic PATIENCE) left my recent appointment in tears…a**h*le couldn’t of cared less..RUSHES through appointments when people WAIT hours to see him. Honestly, I hate this man and hope he sees this rating. You are horrible in the heart, you don’t take the necessary time with your patients and LISTEN to their concerns, you RUSH through appointments people have waited months for!!!! You gave me personally the wrong advice about medication which could have resulted in me personally getting even sicker… again because you rushed like you always do and didn’t take the time to listen… You are in this field purely for your income, you don’t care or put your heart into your patients, STOP RUSHING people when they are trying to explain themselves. Also, Dr. Ing you are extremely fake, you try and come across like you care, but you don’t care at all about people’s illnesses or what they may be going through. AGAIN!!! STOP RUSHING THROUGH APPOINTMENTS WHEN SOMEONE FINALLY GETS TO SIT IN YOUR CHAIR AND SEE YOU… WE WAIT MONTHS then HOURS (on the actual appointment date) to then finally see you put of with stupid jokes and apathetic comments then flippant fast “aid/service”… Money grubbing crap man. Advice.. seek another doctor for this field. How does God bless the hands of someone with the art of helping or healing people but not the heart and soul of the “healer”? Crap doctor! if I could rate this fool straight zeros I surely would.

Ridiculous at best . Communication s & practices not align with qualifications.

The worst experience! We arrived on time for our appointment, but they were already hours behind schedule. The office has no waiting room - looks like he just has a closet office! There are a few chairs in the hall. All were taken up, plus about 10+ more people waiting standing. One person we spoke to had been waiting 2.5 hours already. The office staff were extremely rude and when I asked how many people were ahead of us to get an idea of timing, she refused to give me an actual number. She rudely asked if I prefer to come back another time, but it would be the same waiting duration. Unbelievable! So disrespectful and inconsiderate of people's time. We left after an hour of waiting and did not reschedule. We will not be coming back here and strongly discourage others from going to this place.

Dr. Ing performed surgery on my strabismus and it changed my life for the better. He is wonderful, witty doctor who is extremely educated and good at what he does. Thank you, Dr. Ing!

Dr. Ing is fantastic. His staff, however, is unprofessional. Extremely unpleasant and actually rude when making an appointment to check-ins, which is a shame because the experience with Dr. Ing itself was great.

Office staff is not only rude, but also very inappropriate (eg, i was asked to sign a consent for cancer surgery before I had met with the doctor and gotten the results of my biopsy “to save time later” — helluva way to find out my lesion was cancerous!). Multiple appointments are scheduled at the same time, resulting in waits of 3 hours and more even very early in the morning. Dr Ing himself was excellent. He carefully explained what was going on, how to proceed, etc. He also saw my elderly mother, and treated her with the respect and care he might give his own mother.
