Excellent physician...caring..takes his time....hope he never retires!!!Yes secretary can be difficult to deal with at times...however not enough to make us consider finding another doctor!!!

Dr. O'Brien has been my FD for over 20 years and is the absolute BEST doctor I have ever been in contact with in over 23 years of nursing!!!!!!He is very busy but when you need his time you get it.Not like many other docs that you can only go in with one problem at a time.He really and truly cares and makes each person feel like they are the most imprtant while they are in front of him. He treats everyone with respect and dignity.A true pleasure to have as a doctor!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Chris O'Brien for 20 years. During that time he has been kind, caring and compassionate. His work with palliative care is exceptional !! He has always had time for me to discuss things in detail. He is a wonderful doctor and I give him a 5 plus. May God bless him and his family.

Dr. O'Brien is a wonderful and caring human being! He helped my brother die in peace and although my brother was unable to speak Dr. O'Brien looked him straight in the eyes and explained the meds he was going to put him on! Maybe people have to wait so long at their appointments is because he's very busy and is trying to see and help as many people as he can! I think the man deserves more credit than he gets. He spends so much of his valuable time helping peoples leave this world in peace!! I can only hope when the end comes for me I will have him at my side. Hats off to a great doctor!!

Dr. Chris O'Brien is the #1 Doctor - No-one has a better GP than I do in all respects. The office service is #1 also when Chris' wife is the receptionist. A wonderful pair of professionals.

Dr Chris is very kind and caring. I find that he is very keen and knowledgeable. Dr. O'Brien has helped me many times with medical forms for schools and work and has always gone above and beyond for me. Thank You Dr. O'Brien

DR O'Brien is an exceptional Doctor, to give as much as he does to his patients, as well being a husband and father of 2 children, and a caring person in all expects of Medical Field , The Head of Pallitive Care, Atfer Hours Clinic , FAmily Practice and on and on... Hats off to his Wife for allowing him to be the Doctor he is... so involved in our commuinty.Thanks for always taking care of us... Dr O'Brien always takes the time to hear me out and is very knowledgeable in his assistance.... I give him a 5 plus for patient care................

I feel Chris O'brien is the best doctor in Saint John. I was really fortunate to become one of his patients once my daughter was born I feel my daughter and myself recieve the best treatment that there is I always feel at ease when I have an appointment. Congratulations also goes out to Chris O'Brien for winning physician of the year. It is due time that people reconize the kindness and knowledge this man has. Cheers

I rated him triple 5 because yes he is very busy and it is because he is the best doctor in New Brunsick, yes i haven't been to them all but why would i have to....really this man is friendly and patient, he is very dedicated to his practice. I have been going to him for a long time and can't wait for when my future children go to his office. I know that he will treat them the same as he has treated me and my family, I do have to say that Dr. Chris O'brien of Saint John, NB is the best and I mean the best family doctor there is.... :0) No doubt about it.

I personally feel that Dr. O'Brien is a fantastic family physician! He has been my family doctor since I was born. He is extremely busy with his work at the hospital and after hours clinic, so waiting time for an appointment can be lengthy. However, when you do have an appointment, you have his full attention. He doesn't make you feel rushed and answers all your questions. He is gentle, caring, personable and is very knowlegable. If there is ever an issue that can't wait for the next available appointment, then I simply go to the Family Practice Continuous Care Clinic that Dr. O'Brien is a participant of. I feel Dr. O'Brien deserves top ratings.

Dr. O'Brien in my opinion is an excellent Doctor. He has delivered both my children and is their Doctor as well. He is a good listener and has been very thorough with both me and my children. He always answers any questions I have or finds the answer if he doesn't know. I also find Dr. O'Brien very personable which is a rare case in a Doctor.

This doctor makes his patients wait FAR too long. I've waited over 2 hours for simple 5 minute appointments. Does not have the time for his patients when they are there. Sent someone I know home when she had serious pneumonia (she died from within 2 months of seeing him). In in for the money as far as I'm concerned. Way to many patients so none get the care they need.

Dr. Chris O'Brien, in my opinion, is THE BEST FAMILY PHYSICIAN IN SAINT JOHN. He is knowledgeable, willing to listen, does not make you feel rushed and makes you feel "safe" in his care. I do find that the receptionist is very unsympathetic to your case (which she does not fully know in the first place) and often makes you wait too long for appointments...she can make you feel like you are wasting the doctor's time and, in some cases, I do not phone the office for an appointment because I know what type of reception I shall receive from her...and, in a few cases, where I should have seen Chris, I neglected to get the appointment because I couldn't face the fact that I had to go through her.

Dr. O'Brien has a terrible receptionist but he himself is a great doctor. I have been seeing Dr. O'Brien my entire life and would never consider another family doctor.
