:( Click to report rating    3/10/10 2 2 2 Most of the staff was unfriendly. Dr. Rishi barely spoke to me and she rushed through my exam. As she was leaving she told me I needed to lose weight. I had my appointment Feb 15 and haven't received my results, I just called the office and the receptionist was a friendly as a cold dead fish. She told me that if the results were bad I would have been told by now, I am not sure that would be the case. I gave her my name and number and she said a nurse would call me later. We shall see!!

:) Click to report rating    9/4/09 5 5 5 I/'ve seen a lot of OB/'s in the area and Dr. Rishi was easily the best for several reasons. She doesn/'t use a Nurse Practioner or a PA so she sees all the patients herself including followup visits. She only schedules 20-25 patients day. The other OB/'s in the area were seeing between 40-50 ptients a day. Dr. Rishi sees less patients so she can spend more time with each one. Lastly, she saw me several times during my labor and didn/'t just show up during the delivery. That/'s a sign of good service because most OB/'s only show up during the delivery. Dr. Rishi checked up on me many times and didn/'t abandon me. Last but not least, she doesn/'t do Botox, Dermatology, or expensive 3-D ultrasounds. It/'s nice to know this practice is honest and not pushing things on patients that they don/'t need. I guess everyone is different but I judge people on their actions and not their sweet talking. Dr. Rishi was plenty nice but she isn/'t fake like some of the other OB/'s in town.

:) Click to report rating    8/7/09 4 5 5 I absolutly LOVE Dr. Rishi. She delivered my son adn when I became pregnate again 6 weeks after my son was born she agreed to take me as a patient with Medicaid even though it is not normally an insurance she excepts. She is a little hard to understand sometimes becasue of an accent but she is always honest and upfront. I think she tells women straght and some people just can't hand it. The first thing she tlod me was pregnancy is not a disease. And not a licence to become lazy and fat. That motivated me to become very confident in my pregnancy. I think she is an amazing doctor. Two thumbs up!

:) Click to report rating    3/1/09 5 5 5 I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews below but I was pleasantly suprised. She was very honest and caring. I went to other doctors in the area and they were seeing 40-50 patients and spending 30 seconds with me. Dr. Rishi took her time with me and you can tell she wasn't piling as many people into her office as possible. I also liked how she wasn't salesy and fake; I hate how some doctors just smile and give you a bunch of fluff. She was sincere yet caring and I left her office grateful that I have an OB I can trust. Also, she was able to answer and explain complex medical terms that my other OB's couldn't answer. She could explain things in layman's terms which I appreciated. I don't know where the report from below is coming from.

:| Click to report rating    2/1/09 4 5 3 March/April 2008 - I had both a Pap Smear and a Coloscopy-no complaints about the procedures. My complaint was when she gave me the results of the Coloscopy it was very nonchalent and a matter of fact. I was upset and scared. She briefly explained the NECESSARY proceduce-I asked her if this would handle the problem and she said well it's like these cieling tiles so we'll remove this bad one but the other ones around it may go bad. I understand what she was saying "no guarantees" it seemed like a bad analogy. I asked her if it was possible for it to be handled with any other treatment if it could go away-she said NEVER with severe dysplaysia. I would have respected her more if she had said not to her knowledge, or this is the only treatment we do here, maybe even recommeded another Dr. I don't think her intentions were bad but my last experience there was an awful one, I don't blame her for the diagnosis just the handling of it. FYI-had a clean pap 11/08 w/o surgery!

:) Click to report rating    10/19/08 5 5 5 I went to Dr Rishi for my first pregnancy. She was wonderful. She was warm, caring, and very attentive. I would highly recommend her. The bad review of her below is very strange. She will be delivering my other children as well!

:) Click to report rating    10/19/08 5 5 5 I'm writing because I just moved to Kansas and was seeing Dr. Rishi when I was in Killeen. I'm looking for an OB so I searched this site and wanted to compliment Dr. Rishi because she was such a great doctor. I wanted to comment because I disagree with the review below. I was also on Medicaid. Most of the doctors in Killeen don't take Medicaid patients. Dr. Rishi made an exception with me and saw me due to my particular situation. I think the patient below should just be grateful. Dr. Rishi still saw her despite the fact that she was on Medicaid. And she still took her even though she was late term. Most OB's wouldn't even do that. Being a former nurse, let me tell you that there are some patients who are difficult regardless of how nice you treat them. It's hard to imagine Dr Rishi mistreating anyone. She went out of her way to help me.

:(      8/28/08 1 1 1 I can't believe there were people who actually liked her. She was by far the worst doctor I've ever had. I came to her late in my pregnancy because of a change in insurance. My insurance was ending but I had medicaid as a second insurance, which I told her staff beforehand. My husband sat outside on my first visit to her. He told me afterwards that she was in the office (clearly visible to other patients) yelling at her staff for booking a "medicaid patient" after she had told them not to do anymore. She was very cold, never really spoke to me, very rough with her exams. Unfortunately, because I was so late in my pregnancy, no other drs in the area would take me so I was stuck with her. She kept switching my dates around for no reason. One week I was 36 weeks, the next week I was 39 weeks. She ended up inducing me at 37 weeks. Didn't ask if I wanted to be induced or not. It was my first child and if I knew then what I know now, I would have not shown up to that scheduled induction.

:( Click to report rating    1/25/08 1 1 1 I was more than dissapointed after seeing Dr. Rishi. She was extremely cold, rude, abrasive, and rushed through a pap so quickly that I was left in pain. She gave me a nuvaring sample that was opened! I took it back and asked for a new one and they didn't have another sample, so I had to buy it from the pharmacy, just to read the insert and see that the contraindications included health problems that I had, and she never even asked! I wouldn't wish her on my worst enemy...

:( Click to report rating    12/5/07 1 1 1 I had a horrible time with this one. She told me several times in a very rude manner that I was overweight. She was cold to me, left the door open while she examined me (I was very embarrassed). Wouldn't answer my questions and rushed me out the door as soon as she got the chance. I have never had a worse experience, I cried afterwards. The wait was extremely long as well, I had scheduled an appointment and they were letting walk-ins ahead of me. I waited for about an hour. I went back to buy my medical chart so that I could find out the results and took it elsewhere.

:) Click to report rating    10/17/07 4 2 3 I waited for over an hour and a half to spend no more then 10 min with her. She did not say much to me and did not help me with any of my questions. I will not go back!

:) Click to report rating    3/17/07 5 5 Dr. Rishi is easily the best OB I have ever had. She treated me with respect and was very honest and upfront about everything. I felt very well informed after I left which is rare since most physicians seem to rush you out of their office

:) Click to report rating    2/4/07 5 5 I'm so lucky to have found Dr. Rishi. She is a wonderful caring physician and mother. I felt very comfortable seeing her because she is a mother and has been practicing for a long time. Her bedside manner was fine and she was very honest with me. What's also interesting is that she has never been sued or involved with any court case. I researched OB's extensively and she is one of the few in the state that has never had problems. That is pretty incredible considering she has been in practice for over 25 years. She didn't tell me what I wanted to hear but she wasn't rude about it either. I don't know if she is taking new patients but if you can get in to see her, I would definitely make her youd OB/GYN.
