:) Click to report rating    3/16/10 4 5 5 Dr. Sacks was a fantastic surgeon. He was very pleasent and I did not have a moment of pain getting my 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed. I was knocked out and woke up feeling fine and a bit ****. Very minor discomfort and hardly any swelling. Great surgeon.

:( Click to report rating *  12/2/08 2 4 1 The doctor is fine performing the surgery. However, they lied when they assured me the procedure would "very certainly" be covered by the insurance. Later, when the claim had been denied, they fabricated an "unforeseeable scenario" that resulted in a different procedure that is not covered by the insurance. In fact the insurance told me the procedure is the same on their diagnosis and the surgery bill so they were honest at least in one way. Also I made the classic mistake of trusting their words and not calling the insurance before the surgery. If you have to go there, be very careful with the billing staff, especially when you've got only a limited coverage. I am quite thankful it wasn't a huge sum compared to others.

:| Click to report rating    5/22/08 3 4 1 STAY AWAY FROM THIS ORAL SURGERY PRACTICE. They are deceptive and do not disclose their exorbitant fees in advance. Sure, if you have 100% dental coverage don't sweat it. But, if like most of us you do not have complete coverage do NOT assume the fees will be reasonable. We had a 45 minute procedure which cost $1800(!!) and NO ADVANCE DISCUSSION of the fees. It's a crime...

:) Click to report rating    2/4/07 5 5 I had my wisdom teeth out with Dr Sacks and he is the nicest, most pleasant dentist! He has this great S. African accent. He made me feel totally at ease and the whole process from beginning to end was painless and effortless-I was knocked out, never woke up during, and afterwards felt great. Never had a minute of pain either after-he did a flawless job. I cant believe how smoothly the whole thing went. Gives Vicodin for pain, which I never even needed! His assistant however needs to go. The personality and bedside manner of a houseplant. Never smiles. Front office staff was great and accommodating. Highly recommend this dentist!
