11/06/12 5 5 5 5 I have seen Dr Bray on several occasions and I have nothing bad to say about this doctor! He is awesome, I have a very serious injury in my knee. Its the most painful thing, sadly after 4 operations it not better and Its not going to get better. He took the time to sit with me and tell me what I was facing in the years to come. I could tell that he was bothered by what he was about to tell me. His bedside manner is beyond wonderful and he as a person, he is fantastic! I look forward to seeing him as he is going to continue to work with me.  Respond

07/07/11 5 3 5 5 Recently, I had ACL reconstruction performed by Dr. Bray. He's very attentive and takes time to listen to all your concerns and needs. Most importantly, he's a very experienced surgeon and I'm very happy that I was able to secure his expertise. Also, his admin assistant, Peg, is first class. She's very responsive and caring. Anyone unlucky enough to have knee problems, should be lucky enough to secure the help of Dr. Bray and Peg.  Respond

19/04/10 5 5 5 5 I have seen Dr. Bray for the past 5 years or so. He has operated on my knee 3 times now, the last being a Fulkerson's osteotomy. My physio always tells me how he has done a great job. Particularly with the osteotomy as my physio has seen numerous clients that have had botched osteotomy's and their knees are worse. Dr. Bray knows what he's doing and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with their knees. His bedside manner is very good and he is very patient and makes sure to answer any questions. While recovering in the hospital, he made sure to come see me everyday to see how I was doing. He is fantastic and makes me believe there are still some good doctor's out there :)  Respond

15/02/10 5 5 5 5 Dr. Bray is a very skilled and competent Surgeon. He takes his time with explaining the issues associated with the surgery. The explanation is done in a language that is comprehensible by the layperson. His staff's kindness and effectiveness is a reflection of his values and principals. Both my knees have been operated by Dr. Bray and the results are great. His followup care is quite good as well. The Canadian Medical system is better with him in it.  Respond

15/04/08 5 4 5 5 For most of my life, doctors told me that my knees would heal themselves. By the time they realized the problem as getting worse not better, it was to the point no surgeon would even consider me for a patient, because they all thought it was hopeless. Dr. Bray did not make promises, but he did agree that there were options. At 25 yrs old, most doctors wanted me in a wheelchair, but my husband and kids found that as unacceptable as I did. Now four years later, I can do everything a person with "normal" knees can do. Peggy was a huge support, going above and beyond to ease my fears, and Dr. Bray was ALWAYS helpful, and explained everything to us. We will be forever grateful that he is the man and doctor he is. Both mt knees have been repaired, and I finally have the ability to not only walk unassisted, but this year I got to ski!  Respond

29/11/07 5 4 5 5 Dr. Bray is excellent. He is a specialist with true compassion. He fixed both my knees and I didn't believe that they could feel this good afer surgery. I have been able to do everything I could do before my injury. I can't say enough good things about this surgeon. I work in the rehab industry and have never heard a negative comment regarding this doctor. If you are considering having surgery on your knees, please ask your physician to refer you to Dr. Bray.  Respond

16/06/07 5 5 5 Dr. Bray reconstructed my ACL ligament. He is an experienced/competent surgeon and a great guy. His assistant, Peg Johnson, was a great support. She went beyond the normal call of duty to help me out. The therapists and staff at the rehab clinic in the Sports Medicine building are friendly and professional. Surgery is a tough decision. If you chose to have it - this is the place to help you get through it.  Respond

24/04/07 5 5 5 You will never find a more knowledgeable and capable doctor. He is honest, ethical and compassionate. He told me that his work would allow me to lead a somewhat normal life. (Both my knees are a mess). The results were better than what I was experiencing. I find his humor refreshing and great bedside manner. He truly cared about me, my progress and my career. As I was very aggressive in my rehabbing he was a great resource. I personally feel that if you take your rehabbing serious he will take you serious. Dr. Bray has a great office and Peggy is willing to help you out and you are on a first name basis with her. As far as waiting for service, they are as busy as any other doctor’s office but no more than a 45 minute wait. The surgeries that Dr. Bray completed on me, have allowed me to continue my career. For that, my family and I thank you.  Respond

05/03/07 5 5 5 My husband has seen Dr. Bray for numerous consultations/surgeries. We were very pleasantly surprised that a Dr. of his expertise was so kind, patient and very obviously an expert is his field. He always listened intently, never gave false hope, and spoke to my distressed husband patiently and in laymans terms. Not the ego complex that comes with alot of specialists. The physiotherapists in our region refer to him as "God"! I would recommend him to anyone fortunate enough to see him.  Respond

04/02/07 5 5 5 This doctor is one of the most compassionate specialists I have encountered. He cares not only about the clinical aspect, anatomy, repair and structure of the injured part, he cares about the emotional part of the patient. He is quiet, soft spoken and well grounded in my opinion. His assistant Peggy is also very efficient and treats you very well also. I am a nurse who interfaces with a plethora of hospital and university appointment physicians and have NEVER heard a negative comment about this doctor from his collegues, staff or patients.  Respond
