05/03/12 5 5 5 5 Dr. Trudy Taylor is the second rheumatologist I've seen & I wish she had been the first. She's amazing, caring, knowledgable & takes the time to answer all of your questions. If I had seen her first I would have had a proper diagnosis years ago. Dr. Taylor & her staff are all wonderful & I actually look forward to my appointments in their office. I couldn't ask for a better care team.  Respond

13/05/09 5 5 5 5 I just had my first visit with Dr. Taylor and I'm thoroughly impressed. She is kind, knowledgable, thorough and happy to answer all my questions. We still have tests to sort out and work to do but I feel like she's truly concerned with finding the right answers and helping me to improve my condition. I left her office feeling like I was listened to and respected, feelings I've not always had leaving other doctor's offices. If I had a choice I would not want to be in a rheumatologist's office, but since I have to see one I'm very glad it's her.  Respond

03/11/08 5 5 5 5 I agree with all of the positive things that have been said, and can only add one thing: she is very cognisant of the fact that finances may be an issue and is careful to make sure that she is suggesting/offering therapies that she can follow through on. Such a wonderful, pleasant and caring doctor!  Respond

26/09/08 5 5 5 5 I just started seeing this doctor when I got too old to go to the IWK. She is great - takes time to chat and find out what is going on in my life outside of my arthritis. She really cares.  Respond

20/08/08 4 2 1 1 Only diagnoses with blood test that are inaccurate and then wonders why the patient is concerned and upset. Meanwhile the patients are getting sicker while untreated. Seems to have a nice manner but nice doctors don't make good doctors!  Respond

15/07/08 5 5 5 5 Dr. Taylor is looking after my husband in the hospital right now. She and her team have been spectacular - so knowledgeable, and caring. She has provided the best of care, and always makes sure that our questions are answered, and that we are updated on the plans for any tests. Both my husband and I have been very impressed and are so grateful for her care. She is young, but she knows her stuff and treats everyone with respect and dignity.  Respond

25/04/08 5 5 5 5 I saw this doctor when she was on call for Internal Medicine at the Halifax Infirmary. She was so compassionate and professional while looking after me. I couldn't ask for better care. I only wish that she could look after me in the long term, but she spends most of her time practicing Rheumatology, I guess!  Respond

17/04/08 5 5 5 5 This is the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She is knowledgable, but has a great way of explaining things in terms that are easy to understand, and to top it all off, she is hilarious! I always look forward to seeing her (first time I've ever enjoyed a doctor's visit!)  Respond

03/03/08 5 5 5 5 This doctor diagnosed my husband when no one else could. She got him admitted to the hospital the same day that we saw her, and probably saved his life. She always spends lots of time with us answering all of our questions and even calls us at home. I think she is a saint!  Respond

28/08/07 5 5 5 5 After my Doctor retired, I really worried whither the one that replaced him would come up to his standards. After my first meeting with Dr. Trudy Taylor I knew I was in good hands. She is very knowledgeable and helped me get on with a normal life, which is hard to do for someone in the throws of pain with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I can't thank Dr. Taylor enough for all her help and patience. She truly deserves a big pat on the back. :o)  Respond

13/04/07 5 5 5 Dr. Taylor also took my case over from Dr. Ahmed. She has made me feel like a new person. My visits with her have always been informative and very positive. She is very knowledgable, but able to bring the information down to the patient's level. I am so very happy to have her as my doctor and feel confident that I will be well looked after!  Respond

02/04/07 5 5 5 Dr.Taylor took over from my favourite doctor, Dr.Ahmad, who retired. I was quite nervous about seeing someone new. She was wonderful. She gave me a new perspective on my condition. She answered all my questions without being condescending. She also suggested that we take a more aggressive treatment and she explained that things had changed in the research. So without criticizing my other doctor, she was able to change my protocol and things have gone very well. So I am very pleased to have Dr.Taylor as my new Rheumatologist.  Respond

04/02/07 3 2 2 She gives you the run around with the dx.she does not tell about the test results, found that out that when i got copies of my test from my family doc.I wish she could be honest,up front with us.I know the type a doctor she is,it all takes time to put it together.be up front and say I waiting for more blood work to confirm,or for you to get sicker then what you already are,if she did the reseach, she may learn in her field that their may not be positive blood work for years down the road,so you just don't leave somebody in limbo, while the damage is happening to our bodies, but i will say she is very nice lady. And a few more years with hands on,she will learn alot more,as she not my doc no more,I wish her the best in the future  See Responses
