Dr. J. was my doctor in Ottawa and I wish he would come back. Absolutely the very best. He knows his medicine, is kind, helpful, and most of all, compassionate. His patients are important to him and he lets them know that, and always takes the time to explain everything fully. My family and I miss you, Dr. J. Sue Grahame

Dr. Jollymore treats my mother, my sister, my sister's family and me. He is straightforward, helpful and explains things well, dealing effectively with all age groups. I leave his office knowing more than when I went in, with clear choices to make, and an awareness of the ramifications of following, or not following a course of treatment. He has a great 'beside manner' and a sense of humour. I would recommend Doctor Jollymore to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, approachable, dedicated family physcian.

We dearly miss Dr.J here in Ottawa.I have little trouble getting a replacement, because I live in a Long Term Care Facility, The Glebe Centre. He was one the MD's on staff. I was happy to find this out and really disappointed realizing, that he left for B.C. He certainly was a great and extremely helpful doctor to have. Wim Bigot

I was a patient of Dr.Jollymore here in Ottawa before he moved away and believe it or not I cried the last day I went to see him he is the best doctor I have ever had..Unfortunately the thing that took over his practice was not 1% the Dr or person that he was.Many patients left him in a hurry and the comments on this site says it all..I wish Dr. Jollymore the best of luck and if ever he comes back to Ottawa please check out your old patients I am sure you will have most of us back...I am now retired and enjoying it very much...Thank you for all your help Sincerly Joyce M. Dr. Jollymore took over the practice of my G.P.I could not ask for a more caring,knowledgeable,wonderful Dr. I have never felt rushed,he answers all questions and explains everything.I have moved away from Victoria but have kept Dr. Jollymore,the 4 hour drive is worth it to know that your health is in the best hands.

Dr. Jollymore is a fantastic Doctor! He was my family doctor when he had his practice in Ottawa. He was compationate and had time to listen and answer all questions. Since he left I am without a family Doctor - wish he were back in Ottawa

Dr. Jollymore is a fantastic Doctor! He was my family doctor when he had his practice in Ottawa. He was compationate and really cared about his patients and what might be bothering them. WE WISH HE WOULD COME BACK TO OTTAWA!

Perfect! I can say that of Dr. Jollymore. As my GP in Ottawa, I lucked out by pulling him out of the telephone book, and was devasted when he eventually left for B.C. Attentive, patient, compassionate - he even took a 'laundy list' from wife who called ahead, and he ran me through all her orders. No time pressure, no stress. What a professional! There is no better doctor. I was in Victoria in October '07 and had I known he was there, I would've paid a courtesy visit - and plead with him to come back to Ottawa. Victoria, I hope you know what you have.

Dr.J was my doctor in Ottawa and all of you in Victoria have no idea how lucky you are you say he replaced a good doctor so you got lucky.Our replacement however is a nightmare with no compation he is rude ignorant and condisending I have to believe if Dr.J knew he would never of sold the practice to him. My children no longer have a doctor because they hate him but with the shortage of doctors here in Ottawa i've stuck it out. But after all these years we still miss Dr.J so much he has not been forgotten. So please tell him next time your there how much he's missed.

Dr Jollymore is the best GP that I have ever had .He is always pleasant,very knowledgeable,excellent listener but most important to me is that I don't feel rushed and that I am impt to him and have my questions and worries attended too.we are lucky to have him

Dr Jollymore is a great family physician. He is relatively new to BC, having replaced my previous GP, and I have have quickly come to respect his level of care, attention to detail, knowledge and overall patient interaction. He provides plenty of useful information and is very forthcoming in terms of dealing with my concerns. An excellent MD!!

My husband and I were fortunate to find Dr. Jollymore when he first moved his practice to Victoria. Over the years I have been seen by doctors in Europe, US and Canada, and never had a doctor as great as Dr. Jollymore. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and thorough. His office staff is the best, most helpful and thorough I ever interfaced with. In addition, his referrals are always great, and I trust his opinions. I only hope he will be in practice as long as I require physician’s care.

Took over the prectice from the doctor who had treated us for 20 years. We feel very lucky to have a doctor so thorough and helpful. Takes the time to listen. Dr. Jollymore even made a house call following surgery.

Jolly was my doctor in Ottawa, and every time I go to his previous office, (here in Ottawa) I still encounter ex patients who are grieving his departure.He laughed when I told his we would be bereft without him him--we are still bereft.My family wants me to move to Victoria, and the one thing that would really encourge me would be that he would be there, and I would feel well-looked after.

I knew this Doctor when he practiced in Ottawa. He was will respected there and is greatly missed. Ottawa LOST was Victoria's GAIN. He is very professional and kind and caring and one of the few doing house calls after hours.Hats off to ths Doctor

He was my doctor in Ottawa before he moved west. Everyone in the neighborhood misses him terribly. A five+++ for John. J. Yes, I'm still alive, thanks to him!! I was terribly ill and he even came around to my apartment to see how I was. In this day and age, that's really something! Finest kind.

Dr Jollymore takes the time to explain fully in a manner that is understandable, and always ensures that you have discussed all issues with him. He always says "Is there anything else?". He is genuinely concerned about the patient and does not scold. I feel I am well cared for.
