Dr.Vardy is hard to see however the LPN is fantastic and when necessary to see Dr. Vardy she does take the time to listen, however, it seems it has to be a crisis before she will refer to a specialist or push for tests, I had to travel to Ontario last year after finding a lump in my neck in May as the earliest Dr. Vardy could obtain an ultra sound was October, while in ON found my own surgeon and avoided the lenghty NB waitlist to see a surgeon or a speciaist, something wrong here in NB especially when a top surgeon in ON could see me within an hour of my ultra sound and told me to pick my surgery date due to the sense of urgency...

Part 4 re 87 year old: There is a silver lining to this nightmare: Dr Losier was able to order the extra mural for my father (father of 11 children and married); he educated us on what we will expect over the coming days/weeks that he has left and was compassionate. He treated my father with respect and dignity. Can you imagine? How grateful we all are for your compassion, your professionalism and your humanity Dr Losier. Thank you! Dr Vardy should hang her head in shame and consider why she went in to this profession in the first place. Shame on your Vardy! My name is Peter Ryan and I too am a patient of this Dr. who has clearly lost her way. I know you know who the proud man is of whom I speak.

Senior citizens require more time than what is alloted by Dr. Vardy, which makes the patients feel very rushed as she now has a time limit for visits. Her time with patients is getting shorter and shorter to the detriment of her patients. Where will this end?

This is more for Kathy the Nurse practioner. She is GREAT I have the most trust in her and she has never yet led me wrong. I like Dr Vardy also butif given a choice prefer to see Kathy. She is attentive and her active listening skills are great and she is a great asset to Dr Vardys practice. THANKS KATHY!!!

Goodness, you are not the only one she sees ! Dr. Vardy will not treat you any differently than the rest of us !! My husband and I were very afraid of 'who' we would get, after both Dr. Reyes and Dr. Leger retired.. but we are VERY pleased with Dr. Vardy.. She definitely does care and will listen ! We have also seen the Nurse Practitioner; who is also excellent.. Dr. Vardy will see us when absolutely necessary, but most of our appointments are followups, 'thyroid' and 'diabetes' .. so we see the nurse practitioner. And the receptionist is a dear.. takes the time , to talk and show she cares.. when she is not super busy.

I'm sure she could be a lil helpful, that's IF YOU CAN FIND HER! I've been dealing with the worst medical year of my life,and clearly, had to go around the bush to find another doctor! I'm not enjoying the concept that i am not a priority and that age is a source of discrimination ("i have older patients who are waiting" is not an uncommon welcome note when i come in since i am relatively young compared to other patience.) Ive seen people get rejected even though they are "old". I am beyond frustrated and I love how I am being neglected with poor health,fairly severe,that needs immediate attention (according to the emergency staff in the hospital). when I actually do get in, i am rushed to leave.The only good thing in this office is the Nurse Practioner, she take care in giving quality medical attention. She takes the time to be thorough.I can see that some aren't there for the work itself, but rather, the financial benefits.I miss Dr. Burslem,Leger and Rays who have retired.

I have been to see her just the once as I usually see the nurse practioner. She was thorough and patient while at the same time very diagnostic in her manner. First and foremost I see her a a person first and a doctor second. She is human as we all all and she has a family as well. Sure it may take time to see her but there are many really sick people out there and most times all you really need is the after hours clinic. I really appreciate her bedside manner and her overall assessment skills. i say give her the respect she deserves as a professional. I think she is an excellent doctor.

Very easy to talk to and takes time to really listen to you. Very knowledgeable and does not hesitate to refer you to a specialist if she feels one is needed.

I don't know where these negative comments are coming from; nor the idea that Dr. Vardy does not care-- She does and has been very good to us, and we are seniors ! Also the receptionist is always kind when I speak to her on the phone or hear her speak to others in the office.. These comments must come from someone who wants to be 'pampered' and the 'center of attention' ... My goodness, we are lucky she took Dr. Leger's practice over ! She cannot be at everyone's 'beck and call' , as she has a life too !

I like this doctor. I'll admit that it has been an adjustment because she has different policies than the doctor that she replaced and her hours are not always accomodating. However, I find her very thorough and caring. She is great with my kids and has a sense of humour that makes me feel very relaxed upon my visits.

Sometimes not overly interested in concerns as she many more patients if you dont like her work ethic. She is hurried at times and the receptionist is like a drill sargent and very hard to deal with and unprofessional as i have heard her remind 2 patients that there is a shortage of Dr's now and this is how they run things. office hours are not enough to accomodate patient load. can be 4-6 weeks to get in
