There is no way she should be in charge of taking care of people in a hospice situation (where she currently works), or maybe she should because her malpractice allows for the death of individuals. maybe her incompetence has finally paid off with a cushy new job with her husband and an even bigger paycheck. | Respond |

Her committment to her patients was remarkable and she continued to demonstrate this even after her office offically closed. My family was blessed with her excellent care for several years. 4/28/09 | 5 | 3 | 5 | 5 | I was a patient when I lived in Sarnia 10 years ago and my grandmother was a patient of hers as well. Dr Dostaler is such a kind soul. When my grandma was too sick to come and see her in her office, she would actually come to the house to see her instead. Good luck finding that kind of doctor around anymore. She was always so concerned and compassionate and I know my grandmother always thought a lot of her. I always felt very lucky to have a doctor like her and was sorry to leave her when I moved away from Sarnia! | Respond |

5/27/07 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Dostaler is an exceptional physician. My children and I have been extremely lucky to be cared for by such a compassionate and sincere person! She is very thorough and in my case, caught an illness I developed while pregnant that could have cost us my son's life. I credit her for saving his life (and perhaps my own!) and am thankful for her compassion during that difficult time. Some may say she is just doing her job, but she goes well above and beyond. The only reason she's not always on time is that she will never rush a patient out the door, so I don't mind! Very sad to lose her but of course happy to know she'll spend the rest of her days helping those in need. She is very up-front with all of the reports she received from any visit I have with a specialist and follow-up diligently with him/her. I have dealt with her on many occasions as I have a chronic diesese that not too many people have or that is not known about. She has worked with me endlessly to help and is always researching for new ideas, and she has also sent me to every speicaist under the sun. She listens to you and does not rush you out the door. 3/31/07 | 4 | 5 | 5 | I have been a patient of Dr. Dostaler's for 20 years now. I dont know what I am going to do without her! When I was 9 years old, I was diagnosed with a liver disease. She was extremely helpful in referring me to an appropriate specialist, and has always kept in contact with my other doctors to insure that I receive the best of care. If I call in at the last minute, the receptionist always attempts to get me into the office to see her as soon as possible that day, or soon thereafter. Dr. Dostaler has always been friendly and caring and I truly respect her opinions and judgements. Not only is Dr. Dostaler a kind and caring person, she is also a tremendous physician and I will be very sad to see her retire. Anyone who is a current patient will likely join me in saying that we will be lucky to find another doctor that is half as good as she is. She will be greatly missed. | Respond | |
