I used to have him as my neurologist when I was younger and he was the best one I've ever had as a doc =). I mean my current neurologists aren't bad... but I definitely like Devinsky better =). Very caring... helpful down to earth..I just wish I had him as my doc again lol.

Haven't been to him in a while, since I live out of state now, but he was always fantastic! Like others said, he listened, was reassuring, very smart/knowledgable. I'd go to him again in a heartbeat if I could. My other neurologists can't hold a candle to him.

I do not doubt that Dr. Devinsky is excellent in his field. I have uncontrolled seizures that I have been told are not epileptic in nature. This is terribly unsettling as I am left to deal with this without a clear cut cause of treatment. Though I do not wish for epilepsy, there is not a lot of help readily available if you are deemed not epileptic. He comes across as intelleigent by all means and caring, but I felt rushed and was left with a disparing feeling of now what do I do? If he is the best, which I do believe he is in his Epiltologist field, I wish there was someone out there as good as him to help those whose lives are turned upside down by non-epileptic seizures and the true cause. Staff was polite and caring.

Awesome guy ever....He is the best. So smart, but is very down to earth. He is absolutely amazing.AND don't forget his nurse practitioner Kim Parker. She is so smart, pretty, and easy to talk to. She is the best also. I couldn't forget about her. She has done so much for me and has put a pretty face to it to :)....sorry Dr. D lol

best neurologist ever !!!!!!!!would not be where we are now if not for him. will take his word on anything and everything/ others don't come close

VERY knowledgeable although I liked my next neurologist better. It depends on what you want. He seemed more focused on the logistical aspects of medicine. My next neurologist was just as knowledgeable but concerned with my quality of life. He seemed like more of a researcher then a doctor.

Dr. Devinsky is the 6th epileptologist I have seen over the years and the first one who has ever listened. He actually is interested in the patient's progress. He's the one to see if you have epilepsy.

Dr. has a very comforting manner with patients. You feel confident in your treatment because he is clearly an expert, but yet he can relate to you on a basic, human level. His clinic is very well organized and the patient is the number one thing on everyone's mind.

Oh my God! This doctor is the BEST doctor I have ever encountered. He's at the top of his field. He listens, he's kind, and he's so knowlegdable. All doctors should be modeled after Dr. Devinsky. After having him as a doctor it is hard to deal with so many of those second rate doctors. Also his entire staff is wonderful too. What else can you ask for?
