Unprofessional. Rude. Arrogant. She has misdiagnosed me multiple times, and given me various different medications for the same problem.
Her approach to the doctor-patient relationship is strictly authoritative. As in "Im the doctor. You are just the patient. Listen to me or get lost."
I will never go back. I can only assume the good reviews are family. Save yourself the anguish and dignity...

I have to echo the negative comments I've seen here. I also went to Dr. L because she was nearby, and I did find her abrupt, rushed, and a little abrasive. But they were over minor things, so I kind of ignored it. However, recently I went in with an issue I did not know much about. Dr. L was quick to tell me what it was, and based on what I told her I can understand her initial diagnosis. But the condition worsened and I went to the ER (as it was X-mas). When I followed with her in a few days, she said that the ER only confirmed what she said and to take the medicine they gave me and come in if it did not improve. I was shocked that she could so casually claim she was in agreement with the ER. She was way off, but rather than move forward her reaction was hyper-defensive and rude. This condition was uknown to me, and I wanted more info but she basically told me to shove it. I've never experienced this before from a MD. The office is shabby and dated as well. I'm switching PCPs.

If you are the Dr. London that was on Fox News this morning talking about the new guidelines for detecting breast cancer I can assure you that you were way off base with your remarks. My wife used self-examination to find her breast cancer and her every 2 year mammogram, along with a ultrasound and biopsy of the mass, confirmed she had stage 4 breast cancer. She was only 43 years old when she found the lump. She wouldn't be among the living today if she and her doctor would have followed these new Cost $aving government guidelines.

I can't understand all the bad ratings for this Doctor. I have been going to Dr. London for 9 years and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see her (it helps if you are on time for your appointment). She has also seen me at the last minute many times. The staff has always been friendly. Dr. London's style is unpretentious and down-to-earth, maybe some find this unprofessional, but I find it makes it easy to talk to her about anything, I appreciate that she isn't prescription happy, too many doctors just write out prescriptions for especially antibiotics when there isn't any need for them, which is why we have the resistant strains going around that are so deadly. Also, I have always found Dr. London to be very sympathetic and very thorough - she found something that other Doctors in the past missed.

I decided to write a review to warn people to stay away from this doctor.
I started to see Dr. London as my PCP as the convince of the location about 9 months ago. The office is dirty/dated, and the staff was unfriendly. The practice has very strict rule about appointment, wait time, and consulting time, which all in favor of the practice. What bothers me the most, is for the last two visits I had, Dr. London only spent on average 5 minutes with me when I came for follow-up about my condition, where the medication didn't work and my problem was not resolved. She sold me some supplement, without spending time to discuss the conditions and my concerns with me.
I am switching my PCP, and would advise anyone to avoid this doctor.

I just posted about how Dr. London's office is very helpful, etc... I now retract that statement. Up until now I have had good experiences with her but now I know why people consider her rude and obnoxious. I will be changing my GP the first chance I get.

Dr. London is courteous and attentive. She may not always know the answer but she is always willing to help you find it. I have a lengthy and complicated medical history and she worked through any residual problems and was more than capable of treating my symptoms. Great with recommendations and following through. Makes time for emergency visits. Responds to e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner. As long as I am in Boston she will be my GP. Staff is helpful even though they may not be adequately trained. Do not see her NP. Abrupt, and unqualified. Couldn't even draw blood.

I was sick for a week and my cough was getting worse. So the first time I went in, she said that everyone was coughing and that it would eventually go away. I left the office thinking she was right. During my fourth week of being congested and coughing, she told me I had allergies. She didn't even give me an allergy test. She just said that no illness lasts for 4 weeks. It was ridiculous! She then told me to come back in the following week to see if it cleared and if it didn't then she would give me an allergy shot.

With the exception of one NP there who is lovely, my experiences with this office have been highly unpleasant. Unfriendly reception (possibly due to understaffing), an inflexible refill policy (the more times you must be seen in person, the more times you must fork over a co-pay!), an office that could use a serious scrubbing, and a physician with a mouth like a sailor do not a happy doctor's visit make. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

Wants you to come in as often as possible--which no one wants to do! Standard of care says "see dr every three to six months," you can bet she'll make you come in every three to beg for a rx refill--which you must hand-carry to pharmacy (which then loses the paper, so you must pay for another long, useless Dr visit to replace). Also, shabby office, but that seems to be the standard for GPs around here.

I had gone to her for quite some time. The first time I went I was going for a skin issue and they started prepping me for a pap smear. I'm not sure how they possibly mixed that up. At one point she was about to go on vacation and came into the room to examine me when I was sick wearing her coat and with her suitcase in the door. Took a throat culture and left without any questions. She pretty much just ran out. It was weird. Another time she swore like 5 times during my appointment. Her staff is awful, one time they were training and made me wait 20 minutes to pay because the receptionist wouldn't tell the girl training how to categorize my payment. I was on my lunch break and finally just asked the receptionist to help her. They are extremely rude when you call. It's also very messy in there. I used them very infrequently but ultimately don't know why I did, it was an awful experience every time.

Avoid at all costs. She yells to her assistants whatever your ailment is for everybody to hear in the waiting room. Also, you will wait at least 1 hour no matter what.

Dr. London did not return my calls for days, after I left many messages stating that I needed a prescription refilled. I finally used her emergency number out of desperation (the prescription was vital) after three days had passed, and she didn't even respond to that. When she finally did answer her emergency number it was only to tell me to never call that number unless I was having a heart attack, even after I explained that I was unable to get in touch with ANY human being at her office or have any of my calls returned over three days. She simply hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional and rude.

Her partner left the practice. She is always screaming and stressed. Would not recommend because of her attitude.

I found Dr. London to be dismissive of my pain, eager to push her (no ex-) husband's vitamin line on me, and generally a bad diagnostician. I would not recommend her as a Dr. (though as a person she seems quite nice)

Dr. London is fantastic. She has really taken her time with me every time I've gone to see her. I really like how her sons help her in the clinic and the signs supporting country wide health care.

Dr. London gets my highest recommedation. I saw her for 2 years and she delivered my first child. If you are looking for a midwivery approach with an MD, she fits the bill. She is almost always on time and always has plenty of time for each patient.
