31/03/14 3 1 1 1 Please do yourself a favour. Ask your doctor for another referral ...please do not help pay this "woman's" bills..you are indeed taking a risk by putting your well being in her hands. If you have been misdiagnosed weather it be with something or told it was nothing, and in the end it was please report it...she will blame everything on something....stress.....drinking.....in your head.....what you eat....what you wear.... There is no early diagnosis with her she is not trained enough ....u have options. It is your life your health and she works for you!

11/03/14 3 3 1 1 Dr, A. Muhunthan is indeed a woman. She totally miss diagnosed my problem and I became paralyzed. Three physiotherapists told her I needed surgery ASAP. She finally sent me to London for emergency spine surgery. See couldn't even read my MRI's right. Thanks to a great Doctor in London I am now walking. I would not ever go to her again or recommend her to anyone.

10/03/14 3 3 1 1 I have severe neck and back pain with 24/7 headache. She told me I had tried all treatment options prior to seeing her and to learn to live with it. I left crying. I told my family doctor that she said this and my doctor said she was wrong. I wanted to give up hope after seeing this neurologist.  Respond

19/12/13 5 5 5 5 Wow, I can't believe all of the negative comments. My experience was completely opposite. Dr. Muhunthan & her staff were all extremely friendly & professional. Wait time was about 5 min. Very pleasant experience after reading so many bad reviews. To the girl who administered my EMG test, have fun on your cruise! :-)

04/11/13 5 5 5 5 We saw Dr.Muhunthan today 11/04/2013 for the first time. Very pleased with the time she spent with both of us explaining our options and answering our many questions. Suggested what our first plan of attack should be and if there are any more difficulties call her office. She in no way made us feel as I she was rushed and spent ample time and her Petrolia staff as usual are wonderful.

07/10/13 1 1 1 1 After complaining about spinal/nerve issues to my family doctor since April, I was finally able to get a referral to this Neurologist - In September they finally advised my doctor that Dr. Muhunthan could see me - January 14th 2014. Needless to say, by then, I have been seen London with further visits scheduled for October. So, although I haven't even visited this Doctor, I don't think 4 months wait is suitable for any physician - thus my low rating.  Respond

02/07/09 1 2 1 1 Went to she her for an enlarged vessel in the brain, she told me not to eat hot dogs. Nitrates from hot dogs had nothing to do with my enlarged vessel. When I asked her where it was located she said "I think it is somewhere in the middle." I immediately got a referral to London. They had nothing good to say about her there.  Respond

15/04/08 5 5 1 1 To the patient who said dr.Muhunthan is very competent and would recommend him , obviously has not been to dr.J. muhunthan as this is a she not a he. I found her uninterested in my teenagers medical problem, did not listen to me when I tried to tell her what has been happening and his history of the situation. Rushed us out with a prescription, which i did appreciate only to find out it was not nearly enough of a dose to help. We will see a neurologist in London before returning to her.  Respond

21/12/07 5 4 1 2 The assistant to Dr. M, is Angela. I cannot express enough how wonderful, caring, attentive and kind she is. Angela really listened to all of my symptoms and showed great empathy. However, Dr. Muhunthan was brisk, rude, ignored what I was saying and spoke to my spouse, not me!!!! She did not refer me anywhere. It took Angela to go forward for further testing. Angela took it upon herself to do a follow-up call to me. simply, out of worry and kindness. Many kudos for Angela. I think dr. Muhunthan is redundant in her field.  Respond
