12/10/11 | 4 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I was transferred to RCH and was under the care of Dr Pedersen during my 9 week stay. It took me 3 years to concieve my twins with fertility treatments, and I was at risk of delivering prematurely. Dr. Pedersen was very knowledgeable, and was quick and keen to answer all of my questions. I felt very safe under her care. It was nice to see her smiling face, as she came to see me in the morning before going to her office during the week. Dr. Pederson delivered my twins via c-section at 32 weeks. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking an obstetrician/gynecologist. If I plan to become pregnant in the future, I will definatley go back to her. Thanks Sara, for all that you did for my family and I :) | Respond |

10/20/11 | 4 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I am doing this almost 7 years after my last pregnancy that I had Dr. Peterson as my doctor. She is the greatest Dr I have ever had. ( so great that I named my last baby after her!) I had all 3 of my kids preemie (2 at 29 weeks and my last at 27weeks) She was the most professional and comforting doctor and I am so glad to have had her as my doctor for my 3 pregnancies!! I would recomend her to anyone looking for a great doctor!! Thanks Sara! :) | Respond |

4/29/11 | 1 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I think Dr pedersen is very knowledgeble and helpful. But, nurse at reception is terrible. She is knowledgeble, but, very rude and heartless. I was asking a few question but, she misunderstood I accused her. But, I didn't mean it. She talked to me that she doesn't care about my situation. I am very nervous and sensitive about my sichness and I was really hearted by her. Actually, I cried after she talked me. I think she downgrade Dr pedersen's rate even Dr pedersen is excellent doctor. | Respond |

1/8/11 | 1 | 4 | 1 | 1 | I have seen this doctor for fertility issues. She has put me on certain medication to induce ovulation. As it failed, she increases the amount of the same medication. She pushed me through 12 cycles of the same medication, with no success. Eventually my ovary developed a 12 cm blood cyst, and I was in excruciating pain. She refused to admit that the cyst had anything to do with the hormone therapy. She refused to answer or return any of my phone calls, and totally ignored my request to take some action regarding the pain, or the large cyst. I had to look for another gynaecologist, what took for a while, because no one wanted to accept me after the problem was already there. When I was finally able to get someone, he told me that there is no way to avoid the removal most of my left ovary, and he was shocked that I was not monitored at all during my hormone therapy, what actually requires 2-3 times/week US monitoring to avoid hyperstimulation of the ovaries. | Respond |

7/20/10 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | She delivered my daughter (my 1st child). It was a normal vaginal delivery with a minimal intervention (a low dosage of oxytocin and just the gas for the pain relief). I was on my feet immediately, needed no pain killers at all. Everything went easily and smoothly. I'm so thankful. She is an exceptionally great doctor. | Respond |

8/24/09 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I have been seeing Dr. Pedersen for quite a few years, off and on, for all of my 4 pregnancies. I cannot express my gratitude enought to her and her fabulous nurse for all the help and support they have given to me. There hasn't been any time where I have walked out of her office disappointed or discouraged. I have had my son, almost 5 weeks ago and she was finally able to deliver one of my kids!! I was thrilled!! When I was 25 weeks or so, I ended up having appendicitis and had an appendectemy. Even though she was not the one who did the surgery, she was the one who diagnosed it and she kept an eye on me through out the night and in the morning. If there is anyone who is looking for an OB/GYN, I would highly recommend her. I have had nothing but positive experiences over the years. Thank you so much Dr. Pedersen, you're the best !!!!!!! | Respond |

2/19/09 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I could not be more positive about Dr. Pederson. She did my hysterectomy, and was so knowledgeable and proffessional. I told a friend of mine to ask her family doctor to refer her to Dr. Pederson when she was having alot of bleeding, and Dr. Pederson found a cancer in my friend's uterus. She's GOLD! | Respond |

1/26/09 | 3 | 4 | 2 | 4 | Felt very rushed when asking questions. When I didn't like the option she gave me I found her to be impatient and belittling with my questions. Overall I think she is intelligent and skilled but I would prefer better bed-side manner | Respond |

1/22/09 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | While I have had limited contact with this doctor (she performed my tubal ligation a few years ago), both her staff and she were very efficient. Recently I had an ultra sound and a CT Scan and was referred back to her as a definite diagnosis could not be made from either. She immediately made me an appoinment for an MRI, which has changed the tentative diagnosis by the Ultra Sound Tech, CT Scan and family GP. Looks like I may be heading for surgery. Couldn't have done it without her or her kind, and very helpful staff. | Respond |

11/29/08 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | My experience with Dr. Pederson has been frustrating and devastating. My husband and I endured 14 months of anguish. It was a 7 month wait period for an appointment and then 4 months of tests, some of which had already been completed with my family doctor. Finally, she was prescribed a regime of hormone medication. The appointment for the medication was hurried. The instructions given were scribbled notes that were difficult to sort out. The only person I talked to for the past 6 months was the receptionist. The help was minimal. Out of frustration, I referred ourselves the the Pacific Centre for Reproductive Medicine. We were devastated when the doctor informed us that the regime of medicine I just completed actually prevented us from conceiving. If anyone is referred to Dr. Pederson for fertility, don't bother wasting your time. Go straight to the Centre for Reproductive Medicine. Her office called after our appointment PCRM. She wanted to refer us to a fertility clinic. | Respond |

8/12/08 | 1 | 5 | 3 | 3 | I'm not sure if it is a problem with the doctor per say, but with her office staff. I was a patient of hers for over a year for infertility issues. I had an extremely difficult time reaching the office staff to get blood work results, phones always going to voice mail even during office hours (we are closed for lunch until 2pm -- it was now 3 and the phones were still on voicemail), prescriptions not being phoned in to the pharmacy and finding myself on a long weekend explaining to a walk-in doctor why I needed a prescription of clomid and I needed it that day. Finally, I was told they were going to refer me to a private clinic, but the office "forgot". The one time I met Dr. Pedersen she was very knowledgable and understood what I was explaining. However, the office staff were so frustrating that I would not go back and would not refer someone dealing with infertility to her. | Respond |

2/26/08 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | This Dr. is incredible! I never met her until my attending Dr. sought her advice during labor. She was fast and efficient with the examination and took the time to give me her opinion. She delivered my son by c-section. I had complications with my incision opening after delivery and 4 trips to emergency with a different ER Dr. each time giving the thumbs up and a not to worry explanation. One call to Dr. Pedersen's office was all it took for her to leave the labour and delivery floor and come down to ER and have a 20 minute full examination and a detailed discussion as to the "whys" and "hows". She saw me right through the healing process with great sensitivity, knowledge, bedside manner and sense of humour! I wished she was the attending Dr. when I had my 2nd child but no such luck although we did run ito her on the maternity ward and she had a kind word to say. Great Dr.! | Respond |

10/25/07 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr Pedersen attended to my care during a very difficult pregnancy in which I was at imminent risk of preterm labour with my second child. She had excellent bedside manner and helped put my mind at ease about the health of my baby at a time when my husband and I were very stressed out,and I was bedridden. Thank you Dr Pedersen for your thoroughness, compassion, understanding, and patience while answering all our questions--ones that you had probably heard hundreds of times before. I would not hesitate to recommend you to a friend. | Respond |

8/3/07 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I saw her once and was very impressed. I was quite nervous but she put me at ease and then performed a quick little biopsy telling me that she thought it was nothing (which was true) Hopefully I'll never have to see her again but if I have any problems I'd see her in a heartbeat. | Respond |

6/11/07 | 5 | 5 | 5 | She performed my hysterectomy, was very supportive in my difficult decision. ( I was 40 ) I found her very open to answering any of my questions. She worked with me for the best pain control solution. I had concerns about my "keloid" scaring, and she took preventitave steps which helped reduce the potential scars I could have had. I would reccomend her to anyone with any obstetrical/gyne concerns. On time for her office appointments, and her clerical staff were very polite and helpful as well. | Respond

3/21/07 | 3 | 3 | 4 | Dr. Pedersen was okay. Her bedside manner was rushed, with no volunteered information. Discussing intiutions I had about my problems left me feeling patronized, as if I was just some quack who had "googled" my condition. Her knowledge of western medicine practices seemed sound, although she seemed very disinterested in alternative methods of treatment. | Respond
|
