lucky to have gotten to see him, i had a really aweful GI before went years and YEARS undiagnosed it took dr. atkinson all of two months to figure me out! thank thank thank you!

He is the best doctor I have every met, I met Dr. Atkinson 5 years ago, I still talk about him. He saved my life. To all who have never met him too bad, and for those who know were so lucky. He is definitely one of those doctors who truly care. Thank you.

Had him for a couple of years. Very exceptional doctor. Knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend him if you can get an appointment to see him.

I though I had a good Gastro Doctor. Until I met a great one. Dr.Atkinson has been one of the best Doctor's I've seen in a very long time if ever.

During a recent stay at the Royal Columbian hospital, was my first metting with Dr. Atkinson. After our meeting at the hospital, then a follow-up appointment at his office. I was happy to be a client of a younger Doctor who is very committed to his work and patients. I have learned so much regarding my health issues from Dr. A then with any other doctor. My wish would be that I met him years ago, before my disease had a chance to progress. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Atkinson on my side. And would highly recommend him.

Waited almost a year to get an appointment, staff called to reschedule appointment, receptionist was rude and demanding. Was told to call a week before to confirm appointment (fell on a holiday) so called at first opportunity and was told they had already cancelled and filled the appointment! Without even calling to tell me! Each of the three times I had the misfortune to speak with someone from the office, had a BAD experience (ie. rudeness/ lack of caring or concern) Good luck if you have to deal with these people!

Dr. Atkinson is the third specialist I have seen in the past 15 years and is by far the most understanding, cut to the chase, doc I have seen. I would highly reccomend! (I would not reccomend his colleague in his office, look up Dr.Yik if curious).

Dr Atkinson was very helpful, knowledgable, and very down to earth. I previously had to see two of his colleagues, one is retired thank goodness and the other is still there and I hear just as rude!! The other colleague was nice in the office, but during the procedures he was not a nice person. Thankyou Dr. Atkinson, we are so blessed to have you, and I will not see anyone else when I have to except you!!!!
