4/7/13 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Very friendly doctor who listens to your concerns and acts fast to find you a resolution. The staff are very friendly. I recommend Dr. Sender to everyone. | Respond |

1/31/13 | 5 | 4 | 4 | 3 | Dr Sender seems to have her good and bad days. She seems unsure what to do sometimes when you tell her what's going on, you may need to prompt her to send you for tests. Get a gyno if you need your annual.. she's certainly not gentle. Friendly, does care about emotional issues - offered a wide variety of solutions rather than jumping to medications (ie. therapy, counselling, self help websites, etc.). Cares for well-being. Some days she isn't helpful at all, but others she's very proactive and makes sure you're getting all the tests you need done, etc. So really, it's hit and miss. | Respond |

4/21/12 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 1 | My friends gave me advice and told me to find another Doctor. After being rushed to the ER with a racing heart because she took me off meds cold turkey. The Doctors were dumb founded as to how a physician could do this and told me to write and call the academy of medicine. I went home that day with 5 medications that should have been perscribed in the first place. She had no idea or help as to what the consequences would be. I say run as I'm lucky to be writing this. | Respond |

1/3/12 | 2 | 3 | 1 | 1 | Dr. Sender takes a wishy washey approach to family and medical matters. She is supposed to be trained in addictions yet seems to lack any form of assessment skills and knowledge of typical behaviours. She is quick to offer a prescritpion for anything and often feeds into addictive personalities which is why I believe people with addictions may like her as a physican. She released my teenage daughters health records without consent and offereed no explanation other than a weak apology when confronted....not thinking of the emotional damage or consequences of her actions. When I have contacted her office for clarification for prescriptions and/ or treamtents she refuses to answer my calls instead having her office staff (unregualted health care workers) relay messages. She is flakey and lacks any confidence in treamtents and diagnosis. She is quick to offer prescriptions with little or no follow up. | Respond |

6/29/11 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr Sender is sometimes doubtful about her judgments, but I consider that a good thing in a doctor. She knows the limits of her own knowledge, and is not authoritarian in her relationships with patients. She is very intelligent and very knowledgeable, but sometimes self-questioning. --Good to see in a doctor! She writes prescriptions often, but then that is the approach of modern medicine in general. I am impressed with her caring and her gentleness. She always takes my concerns seriously, and is honest about what is available in the way of treatments. | Respond |

9/17/10 | 5 | 5 | 1 | 1 | Dr. Sender seems to be a genuinely nice person. However, she is a useless doctor. I was not feeling well for quite sometime and I suggested getting blood work done & she said that it wouldn't make a difference! She literally shrugged her shoulders and sent me away. She seems very unsure of herself and lacks confidence. | Respond |

6/21/10 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Sender is a wonderful person and a very competent physician. She and her staff are genuine and prompt. We have found that Dr. Sender always takes good care of our family. If there is a need for more information on a health issue, Dr. Sender researches it or refers us to a specialist. Overall, Dr. Sender definitely helps us feel like we are her priority everytime we visit with her. | Respond |

5/1/10 | 4 | 5 | 4 | 4 | Dr. Sender has been my doctor since she started practicing and I will say that I love her as a doctor. I have several medical problems which required the help of many specialists and she was quick to make sure that happened. She asks about my health and how I'm doing when she has an appointment with my husband and vice versa. She has called me personally with test results that needed to be addressed quickly. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes in her office and while she is a little flaky at times (so am I) I find it to be part of her charm and not something that has an effect on her ability to be a good doctor. | Respond |

3/16/10 | 3 | 3 | 2 | 1 | I used to be under her care and -based on what I've read here -I really wish anyone who has commented or is about to comment for negative reasons would make a complaint to the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons. I also experienced her lack of thorough exams and lack of knowledge, her memory problems and her over-willingness/eagerness to prescribe medications --these have gone on too long. (maybe she gets $ from drug reps for prescribing I have no idea?) Sometimes she just seems apathetic when treating you. Sometimes I wondered about her own health - outwardly she seemed to have very poor posture, and poor vision, who knows what else. I reiterate -PLEASE INFORM THE COLLEGE OF YOUR CONCERNS. | Respond |

3/10/10 | 4 | 2 | 3 | 3 | A nice woman, but appears to lack self-confidence. One time, she told us in front of a student that her Anatomy wasn't much good. Another time when I said I thought I might have had a TIA she asked if I wanted her to send for an ambulance. Physical check-ups very incomplete, was interrupted whilst preparing to examine my ears, and never got back to the ears! Wasn't interested in discussing my worries over a family problem. Always ready to write prescriptions and refer us to specialists, we felt that she did not want to do simple treatments in the office. Scheduled physicals exams several times in a year unless reminded. A useful service is that there is a lab on the premises, for bloodwork, etc. | Respond |

2/18/10 | 4 | 4 | 1 | 1 | I saw ths doctor for a while. She was unprofessional. When going through a miscarriage she answered the questions my husband posed, to me, and not with much confidence. I had another issue that had me at emerg two times in two weeks and she refused to refer me to a specialist until I said I would go to the College. During one annual physical her dog was present! In the examination room! I found she avoided my questions most of the time and when she did answer it was with little confidence. | Respond |

11/6/08 | 1 | 5 | 1 | 1 | She has been our doctor for over 10 years now and I'm thnkful to be healthy and not need her services. I have switched my daughter's care to a pediatrician, after she prescribed her the wrong dose of medication as an infant (thankfully I did read the product information sheet before giving my child 2 times the adult dose she recommended). One of the nurses was about to give my 6month old an expired vaccine another time. She will give any prescription you ask for, just to make you happy and get you out of her office. She always seems to ask you what would you like to do for your condition, rather than offering a variety of solutions. In the process of looking for another doctor. | Respond |

8/25/08 | 4 | 4 | 1 | 2 | Dr. Sender is very nice as a person, but useless as a doctor. She looks scared to perform needles to the babies and than she does say something regarding your medical problem, it sounds more like a question. She might be quite knowledgeable, but her self-conference is running to zero. The good thing is that if you found certain test/medication/treatment on-line, she wouldn’t hesitate to prescribe those if you ask. | Respond |

7/16/08 | 2 | 3 | 2 | 3 | I find her care has deteriorated over the past three or four years. She has been treating me for a high Chosterol count and inists on giving me a Statin drug which I have ceased taking. Recent blood tests showed that the natural additives taken by me are working very well as my count for HDL is on down considerably! very passive and resents a patient who has done some research of their own accord. Quick to write a RX for just about everything! If she is taking on more patients she has perhpas lost some to another medical practioner who listen to their patients instead of reaching for their prescription pads. She appears to resent anyone who has taken the time to pursue information of their condition and have taken the time and effort to do so. She is inclinced to dismiss the topic without further discussion. I would be very happpy to find a Doctor who listens and doesn't smile sweetly and hand me a piece of paper with yet another medication scrawled on it for me to take! | See Responses |

4/15/08 | 5 | 4 | 1 | 1 | I have been going to Dr. Sender for years and every time I present an issue to her regarding my health I always feel she looks at my like I'm stupid or from another planet. For someone that likes to be more involved in my own health she does not like that. Being in the health care system myself, I'm aware of many things and honestly, sometimes I feel like I know just about the same if not more then this doctor does. She is very quick to get out her note pad to give you a RX. I'm in the process of looking for another DR. | Respond |

3/4/08 | 4 | 5 | 2 | 3 | I find Dr. Sender overly passive and she seems disinterested in my wellbeing. When I mentioned anxiety problems, she was overly quick to suggest medication as the solution. | Respond |

3/26/07 | 5 | 4 | 5 | I find Dr. Sender is quite willing to discuss more than one issue per visit, including emotional issues. She listens carefully to me and has shown respect and kindness. The fact that blood work can be done in a lab in her office is very convenient. | Respond
|
3/21/07 | 4 | 2 | 2 | Does not conduct proper annual physical exams, reluctant to refer MRI, Willing to discuss only one physical complaint per visit. Does not welcome patients active participation.Disreguards any disagreement proposed with the contradiction of drug side effects. Only patients with little health knowledge would rate her service high cuz this doctor definetly prefers chit chat other than your direct health problems She is personable but I don't go to the visit for a friendly chat.Problem is supply and demand for female doctors. No doctors = lots of patients | Respond

3/13/07 | 3 | 3 | 3 | I have been numerous times for the same thing and still feel there is no resolution although the Doctor seems to be trying to help. I feel that the Doctor is trying to identify the problem but I am frustrated that it doesn't feel like it is helping. | Respond
|
3/1/07 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Sender displays the utmost in professionalism. She takes the time to really listen to your concerns, and you never feel rushed. Despite this fact, she always manages to get her patients into their appointments in a timely manner. | Respond |
