:) Click to report rating    12/6/09 5 5 5 5  Dr. Bruce was waiting for me when I arrived in emergency at the Upper River Valley Hospital following a stroke. His quick action saved me from much more debilitating and long lasting effects of the stroke. He also introduced me to Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor's "My Stroke of Insight" which buoyed me up all through those first weeks, and explained what was going on with my body. A kind and honorable doctor.

:( Click to report rating    7/12/09 1 2 1 3  Dr. Bruce Lockart was not the greatest doctor and treated me like a mental case when I had my son. He deliberately left me in labor too long, and didn't seem to care. He talked down to me and showed me no respect at all. Not only that but he told me I wasn't "allowed" to have another child and he offered me no valid reasons. Then when my father was dying last year, Dr. Bruce looked down his nose at me and disregarded me as a valid member of the family and wouldn't talk to me about my father's case. Instead he excluded me and would only discuss it with my older sisters. I have nothing good to say about him.

:) Click to report rating *  3/20/07 4 5 5  Dr.Bruce is one of the kindest, most compassionate doctors found in N.B. He is so knowledgeable about general medicine and if he feels that there is a need to explore further, he never hesitates to make contact with a Specialist. He truly is a remarkable and wonderful Dr. Keep up the great work. Not only is he a remarkable Dr. but so caring and considered about his collegues and staff work at the hospital. He is an inspiration to all.

He works in a small hospital so he knows his patients and most of their families, thus family history. We are not just a file in a drawer. I won't go to another doctor.
