Dr. Grandbois always served his patients beyond the call of duty. In addition to this, he was a caring, soft-hearted, personable individual. We were deeply saddened to hear of his passing. We will miss him and remember him fondly. RC, FC, AJC and JHC.

Doctor Grandbois was not only a great pediatricina but also one of the most devoted and caring people that I know. Medicine had a whole different meaning for him and it showed. He was always available and cared for his patients. I was more then lucky to have him as a pediatrician for myself and later for my kids. I am also proud to have known such a great man who everyday enjoyed making a difference in so many lives. He will be deeply missed by us all but one thing is certain he will be remembered.

Un docteur au-delà de nos attentes. Des soins extraordinaires et une disponibilité hors du conmmun. Mes filles et moi avons bénéficié de son savoir, de ses bons soins et surtout d'une écoute sans pareille pour réconforter un coeur de mère lorsque inquiétudes. Merci à un docteur qui restera gravé dans notre coeur. On vous aime et vous souhaite un prompt rétablissement pour profiter d'une retraite bien méritée. Tiffany, Kimberly et ses parents xo.

He will always be the best Dr. in my families eyes. My daughter would be so happy to go to the Dr.'s office to see "Dr.Grandpa" as she would say. I will miss his kindness, patience and skills. The Dr.'s of the future have big shoes to fill.

Absolutely the best!! He took care of my son and we always left with a smile on our faces. Dr. Grandbois is one of the few doctors who trust the parents instincts and judgements when it comes to the babies. Dr. Grandbois will be missed.

Le Docteur Grandbois, c'est un être d'exception, un formidable médecin, une incomparable figure paternelle. Mes enfants éternuaient et j'avais un rendez-vous le même jour! Je n'avais pas le temps d'être inquiète que déjà, il me rassurait. Le moindre doute et hop! on faisait des examens plus approfondis, on allait au bout des choses. Je ne suis jamais ressortie de son bureau avec une question sans réponse, avec un malaise, une incertitude. S'il y avait un problème la nuit, je laissais un message sur son répondeur et dès 7 h 30, le lendemain matin, le dr Grandbois me rappelait lui-même pour me donner son avis ou me dire de venir. C'est un médecin inégalable, d'une grande bonté, avec beaucoup de compassion, même au-delà des enfants, jusque dans nos coeurs de mère. Je prie pour sa guérison, lui qui a tant guéri. Il me semble que le Dr. Grandbois a toujours fait partie de ma vie... il a été le pédiatre d'un grand ami à moi, dès son enfance, a suivi ses 4 enfants et a soigné les miens dès leur berceau. Je ne peux m'imaginer qu'il nous quitte! Sa pratique médicale ressemblait à celle de mon père, ophtalmologiste : consciencieux et patient, oreille attentive et conseils judicieux, disponibilité et mémoire à toute épreuve... un bon vieux docteur de la vieille école, comme il ne s'en fait plus! Au Dr. Grandbois, un immense merci pour tout ce qu'il a fait pour nous. Il nous manquera terriblement, mais restera dans nos souvenirs pour toujours! Que Dieu vous bénisse et vous protège.

Dr.Grandbois they say that no one is irreplaceable, but you are irreplaceable. Thank you for taking care of our daughter. We are are simply the best and you were always available for any question I had. I wish for a miracle to happen and that everything will be ok. We love you Dr.Grandbois. Thank you for everything.

I was looking for the rating of another doctor and stumbled upon my favorite doctors' ratings. I was astounded to see that more people were like me than I thought. He was my doctor, my step children's doctor and my childrens' doctor. He kept me well as a child and I made children that he kept well also. The news of him closing hit me like he was my own father since he has cared for me since I was little. I trusted no one but him in the diagnoses of my children. Impossible to find a doctor who cares half as much as he does. If God has one miracle in his back pocket I hope he uses it on our Doctor/Friend/Father, so he can enjoy some family time well deserved. Please keep up the fight!

Thanks Dr. Grandbois for always being there for us. You took care of both my children since 1981 and even though its been quite a few years since we last met, we still think of you often. You are the best, and irreplaceable, always caring, available and understanding. We will miss you and wish you the very best.

Dr. Grandbois has been my children's doctor for 10 years. Gentle, kind, knowledgeable, reassuring, always willing to take the time, SIMPLY THE BEST DOCTOR! We will miss you immensely and we pray for a miracle. We are all with you in the journey you are taking Dr. Grandbois...I hope you can feel all the love around you!

Dr. Granbois a été mon pédiatricien dans les années 70, je le voyais a toutes les semaines pour des injections anti allergies et lorsque mon fils est né en 1995,quelle ne fut pas ma surprise d'apprendre qu'il pratiquait toujours car dans mon esprit il était un ''vieux'' lorsqu'il me traitait. Dr. je vous remerçie de tout coeur pour toutes ces années de merveilleuses visites et je vous souhaite la plus belle des retraite...

Doctor Granbois is 1 in a million. We have been taking our 3 children to him since birth and I heartbroken that he will be closing his doors. We Love you Dr.Grandbois, thank you for many reassuring and helpfull years!

Dr. Granbois you are one in a million, no one on this earth could ever take your place, you're the most kind, caring, patient, loving doctor that a parent could ever ask for. You were there for my family from birth to adult and I could never have gotten better care anywhere. You are number one among Pediatriciens, I never had to wait when my kids were sick, you were there for us 100% of the time. I can't thank-you enough for all the times you were there for us. We love you.

Dr.Grandbois is the best. He was my husband's pediatrician and when our daughter was born in 2005 he became her pediatrician. We are so LUCKY to have him as our pediatrician. He has always been there to answer my questions. He knows how to calm down a nervous first time parent. And he never dismisses a worry that you might have. He is very well known at the Childrens Hospital. We are very fortunate to know him. He is very well known and respected. Thank you Dr.Grandbois for everything you have done. Dr. Grandbois is simply the best.

I feel lucky that Dr Grandbois was refered to me 7 1/2 years ago when I was pregnant with my son. He is a kind and gentle doctor, and I still continue to see him with my 3 children, even though I now live in the Eastern Townships.

My oldest daughter saw him when she was two weeks old and he calmed my fears. My youngest is 17 now, and he is still calming my fears. One of the best doctors- always knowledgable, sends you to specialist if he feels it is necessary, always return calls and always follow ups. Simply the best and feel so fortunate that he is our pediatrician!!!

Im 22 years old and Dr. Grandbois has been my doctor since I was 4 years old. I hadn't seen him in 6 years...it was weird going back to him after hitting puberty. But, you always feel comfortable with him...and he remembered me! Trule the definition of patient care. Also, his secretary is great too. She still using that same old typewriter?

Simply the best doctor one could ever want. We just keep hoping that our kids will reach 18 before he retires, since we have no idea what we would do if we lost his fantastic service. He obviously cares a great deal about each of his patients, and loves kids. He is a blessing.

Dr. Grandbois is an excellent doctor and he has been my children's pediatrician for over 25 years. I will be sad when my youngest child reaches age 18 and will no longer be able to be Dr. Grandbois's patient. Dr. Grandbois has never made me as a parent feel that my concerns regarding my children's health issues are silly. He listens and respects the fact that parents know their children better than anyone else. He has helped our family through several stressful health situations.

Dr. Grandbois is fabulous. A diamond in a sea of coal. The most popular ped on the south shore of mtl. You almost never wait. He never over books. He takes time to answer your questions and checks your child with love and care. He puts nervous parents minds to rest. The only thing wrong with him is that he doesn't have adult patients. To have a gp like my daughter's ped in Quebec.......What a dream. Not going to happen. Dr. Grandbois youare the best - thank you!

Dr. Grandbois has the most calming effect on frantic first time moms....he is gentle, caring and most of all understanding. He will always see a sick child no matter how busy his day is scheduled. Now that our daughter has turned 18, we can only hope to find a caring and gentle G.P. such as this doctor. It will be a very sad day in pediatrics when this doctor retires. Thank you so much for caring as much as you do, Dr. Grandbois. A.M.C.
