:( Click to report rating    1/29/10 1 1 1 Shirked responsibility and asked the patient to find his/her own help rather than provide services that other doctors usually provide. Not sure if this was due to lack of knowledge or unwillingness to care for patience.

:) Click to report rating    7/27/09 3 3 5 This doctor is same as other doctors that we have to wait for a long time. However he is knowledgeable ,kind & helpful.I will recommend him to other friends

:( Click to report rating    7/21/09 1 2 1 His office NEVER follows up with the patient, even when lab results come back positive. He prescribes antibiotics (Amoxil) for anything and everything, including viruses. Was told to "drink warm milk" for what turned out to be as serious ailment (I got a second opinion). The ONLY time he is interested in talking to you is when he is telling you (i.e. showing off) about the charity work he does. Do NOT go see this doctor if you are sick.

:( Click to report rating    5/20/09 2 3 2 Worst, I just moved to BC and someone referred me to him only to find out that he was not the one I was looking for. As a healthcare professional, Ive asked for some tests to be done but he told me... you're young and dont need it... well i guess I dont need him too so immediately, I spoke with friends and looked for another doctor right away....

:( Click to report rating    1/14/09 1 1 1 You get to his office on earlier than your scheduled time, u wait about 20 mins to see him, then u go into his office & wait about 10 mins to see him because he's too busy smiling and being happy with his other patients yet when he comes & sees u, u are in & out. No manners at all, doesn't ever phone back if u've had some sort of test done, will not do anything about your problems. He'll just tell u it's either stress or you need a vacation. If something is high in your blood work, too much curry or spicy food. How does that have anything to do with it? He needs to retire now and he needs to get new receptionists that at least smile & speak and just not have asian there, at least have a receptionist that speaks other language. Also, he needs to clean up his waiting area, have u ever seen the rug? How disgusting and it's a doctor's office?

:( Click to report rating    1/14/08 3 3 1 I was checking out this site for another doctor and I am so glad to know that I was not the only one who found this doctor ineffective. He has the personality of a wooden block. You know that he is trying to push you in and out like a cheap congee noodle house. I can understand the latter, but as a physician his rates are standard so I expect a certain level of care. He does not explain his diagnosis and has no bedside manner. Not everyone who can make it into med school should actually have been a doctor. This physician would have been better suited behind a computer with little interaction to humans.

:( Click to report rating    6/24/07 1 2 Office overbooks more than an airline. Does not matter if you've got the second appointment of the day; minumum 30 minute wait. one hour+ later in the day. Good bedside manner (hence the highly geriatric practice).... but not very effective. Common cough / cold takes multiple visits. Not proactive at all - my parents have had to request all their recommended annual tests.

:( Click to report rating    6/11/07 1 1 Information given on diagnosis is not thorough and prefers not to answer questions, ie. blood work (if patience wants detail explanations) especially when situation is quite serious.

:| Click to report rating    4/4/07 4 3 Tends to prescribe antibiotics for ailments that are probably viral in nature. Antibiotics won't help with viral infections. The over-prescribing of antibiotics is suspected as one of the reasons we have these "super bugs" that are difficult to treat.

:) Click to report rating    3/30/07 3 4 Often takes the time to get infections properly checked out by a lab. Doesn't often offer much advice in future prevention though.

:( Click to report rating    1/21/07 2 2 Not very informative. Only tends to treat the symptoms but generally doesn't put much effort in helping the patient understand or treat the cause of the pain/illness.
