I agree with all those who felt rushed. She wasn't warm and welcoming with me. She said "Is there anything else?" I was just meeting her for the first time. I had seen her in my gym many times, very obsessive with workouts, the staff had to tell her not to work out on weights every day. My friend had a similar experience with a break down in her office. She told my friend, in front of me, to stop sitting on the couch in front of the tv eating potato chips. My friend went to her for an autoimmune disorder. It seems likely that she chooses who she likes and deals with those people kindly. Do your homework!

Dr. Fetaz is fantastic...don't listen to those others...I have had 4 family doctors in 4 different provinces and she is by far the nicest, most professional doctor yet. I trust her already and I've only had a few visits. She is punctual, never waited more than 10 mins...Her receptionist is very kind and accommodating. If you aren't mean to them they are quite nice. Her phone is off the hook and she still smiles when you come in. Dr. Fetaz was great with both my children and used common sense when writing out my daughter's prescriptions for her asthma, making it more convenient for me that I don't have to go back every 3 months for an appt which only lines her pocket book as other doctors would do. She took her time and I didn't feel rushed for even a second. I would recommend this doctor to anyone...

Dr. Fetaz is horrible. I saw her for PostPartum Depression a few years back and I sat in her office having a breakdown and all she did was write "psychiatric counselling as required" on a pc of paper and shoveled me out the door. Pretty sad considering I sat there with my newborn, my husband and I had just separated and I was distraught and didn't know where to turn ....... thankfully I had the good sense to go straight to a clinic after where I was dealt with professionally and warmly. Could you imagine someone who was worse off, what they could have done to themselves or their baby? She simply didn't care and that is so sad for a family doctor. (I had felt her uncaring vibe on previous visits but at the time couldn't find another doctor in the area to which I was extremely new) Thankfully I have a wonderful doctor now and PPD is long gone because it was dealt with properly. No thanks to Dr. Fetaz. She should be ashamed and re-think her profession or take Bedside 101.

She will push you out the door as soon as possible. Make sure you tell her EXACTLY what you need otherwise she'll get rid of you. If you need a specialist - do your homework - and DEMAND a referral otherwise she won't give you one. Otherwise she is ok.

Dr. Fetaz is warm, interested in the patient's physical and emotional needs, and is more than willing to refer to specialists as needed. After a wait to get in the first time, her schedule has been open for consultations and post-op exam on request, for everyone in my family. Her staff has been welcoming and professional.

I have been seeing Dr. Fetaz for a couple of years now.. and I have always found her to be helpful and patient. Not once did I leave there feeling like she didn't listen or took the time. I would recommend her to anyone. As for the weight loss - I think she looks terrific not sick. She has set an example for her patients. As for the service of the staff.. I don't count on them for my healthcare so for me it's irrelevant whether or not they like their job.

I have gone to see Dr. Fetaz 3 times now and have only felt rushed once. She is very helpful and has taken the time to listen to my concerns. She is very knowledgeable and makes sure I understand what she is explaining to me. I think she's great!

Dr. Fetaz has usually given me 5-7 minutes on each visit. She rushes me out of her office by standing up after a few minutes while I am taking a pause to think. I wish she could give me a little more time so I don't feel rushed.

Dr. F sick - I don´t think so. She has done what we should all do - exercise and eat right and is now her ideal weight. As for `` not happy`` comments - from the negative tone of those comments this sounds like wishful thinking. I think she is thorough, professional and pleasant and thankfully still taking patients so I can recommend to family and friends.

I saw doctor Fetaz today. I think she is ill. Can anyone confirm this? I have always received great care for me and my family. I would like to know if she is ill. She gave me a prescription for a year. Not normnmal procedure. I really believe she is sick. She is half the size of 3 months ago. I wish her the best and hope I am wrong

I Saw Dr. Fetaz on 2 occasions for minor depression and axiety as well as burn out. I was in quite an emotional state due to very difficult circumstances and although I was given time off of work she basically told me I needed to "find a way to deal with these issues" without being more specific. On a return visit where I explained no improvement she sighed and said "What do you want from me?" While she was filling out my short term disability form she ignored me when I told her I was experiencing chest pains and whether it could be due to anxiety and wondering what I could do. She tuned me out, filled out my form, and within 5 minutes I was out front paying $50 for one page. I moved to another doctor and they charged me almost $45 to photocopy ONE SHEET of my records. Terrible, terrible, terrible. This woman appears to dislike her job, and rushes people in and out so she can make her daily quota of money. Staff are inconsiderate and do not follow up on documentation or requests.

My experience with Dr. Fetaz hasn't been great. She orders tests that aren't required and has only very general knowledge. In two cases I have gone to her for help and she has completely either misdiagnosed or overlooked the problem entirely. I would not recommend this doctor. Also, it should be mentioned that the staff at this location do NOT seem to like their jobs, or even dealing with the public. When I do call, there is no option to leave a voicemail and I am simply asked to call back later. This would imply that their time is far more valuable than mine, which I resent.

Dr.Fetaz was my family doctor here in Cold Lake AB. I will love her till I die. I was so very sad when she moved. She delivered my first son, and when my second son was dying from a heart defect her, as well as another favorite doctor of mine, tried absolutely everything they could to save him. He was only 2 months old, and I know she was affected as a person, as well as a doctor. I just wish we could have her back here in Cold Lake

Terrible doctor and staff. First I was forgotten in the waiting room. She over medicated me even when I started to feel helpless and suicidal, she just upped my dose. When I switched doctors (which I have done before after moving) I was charged almost $50. After 1 (ONE!) noticed it was sent and now I am getting phone calls from collections. Argh. No one has ever charged me for a transfer of files before. I was so unhappy with her service and do not feel she is an adequate doctor.

I have found that I have to do my own investigation in determining the next steps in my childs ongoing medical condition. Her demeanor to me was less than professional as I requested further effort in diagnosing and determining how to improve the condition. I feel that she considers me a bothersome mother wasting her time with no consideration to the impact the condition is having on my son. With respect to my back problems I was told that I would have to "live with it" yet after investigation and taking my own steps have improved. Doesn't appear to respect alternative health practitioners nor supporting of my belief in them.

Excelent doctor, doesn't rush you, listens to your problems and thoroughly investigates any issues you are having, it is very nice to see a doctor who seems to be genuinely concerned about her patients. My only complaint is about also being forgotten in the waiting room, purely a staff problem.

Dr. Fetaz is a great doctor. Compassionate and polite, she never rushes you. I almost never have to wait to see her, which is a nice change from my previous doctor. Dr. Fetaz, thorough investigates your issue and takes your concerns very seriously.

I love Dr. Fetaz! She seems very caring and I have never felt rushed or that she wasn t interested in my problem. When my sister moved here Dr. Fetaz took her in as a patient and she to feels she is receiving the best care she has ever experienced.

This doctor is one of the best I've ever encountered. Things I'm aware of are, appointments are never rushed, questions are answered thoughtfully and with knowledge and the doctor really seems to care. I hope this doctor stays in practice for a long time to come. I'm very impressed.

Excellent physician. Very willing to meet you at your level. Takes the time to listen, explains things and seems thorough. Punctual but takes her time with you - this may change as she gets busier. Would highly recommend.

I think this doctor is very thorough and efficient and unlike lots of Drs. deals with multiple problems per visit. When I read about short and rushed visits I have to wonder about the expectations of these people. Maybe they haven't heard that Drs. are in short supply and they are under a lot of pressure to meet everyones needs. Good on the last reviewer that they can be their own Dr. - nice they can do this without having to do all those pesky years of training. More of you and Drs. will have more time to deal with the rest of us.

I find her to be very short and quick. Does not seem to be very happy. I do not get enough explanation from her. I feel like I still have to be my own Dr. My questions do not seem to get fully answered. Not very pleased.

My daughter and I would not have another doctor. We feel that our problems have been answered and like that ordering of diagnostic tests is done quickly. Never have been rushed by her and I too had my best pap ever with her. Great work Dr.Fetaz keep it up!!!

I agree if you are so rushed and dissatisfied then go elsewhere. It is unrealistic to expect that an educated medical professional will agree with every "alternative" medical opinon and she is too polite to state her real opinion. Our family loves her.

Ive always felt rushed in my appointments.Ive never felt well informed from her and that she may seem a bit afraid to give her opinion on alternative solutions.I usually feel a need to use the internet for answers after seeing her.

When we relocated I was wanting a doctor for my children and never though it would end up being myself who needed the constant care due to an unexpected health issue. Dr. Fetaz has been an exceptional doctor through everything, very attentative, always goes over results, tells it in a way that a patient will understand. In my opinion I highly recommend her!

She has been my family doctor for about a year and we have been very happy with her. She is a good listener and is very supportive. She also explains things in a clear and understandable manner. I like her very much and find her to be a great woman's doctor. The best pap test I ever had in my life was done by her.

One of the best doctors I have ever had. She treated my son and myself with great care and was very supportive as we coped with ongoing health problems that they were no easy solutions for. The wait time was not her problem--a shortage of health care professionals kept her extremely busy.
