Excellent, caring and knowledgeable doctor. I went to him throughout my pregnancy and he did his best to allow me to try to deliver naturally. When I couldn't, the c-section was performed without a snag. Dr. came to visit me and the baby every day while in the hospital. I had problems with breatfeeding and the doctor took time to answer all my questions, and concerns. Thank you Dr. Argov!

He was OK untill just as i was about to get dressed he started telling me that he noticed that i had a HAIR problem and if I wanted i can use the service they provide of LASER removal... i thought that i came to a gyno not a dermatologist...that was no twhat i wanted to hear at that moment or ever from my Gyno ...it made me feel uncomfortable and selfconcious...THANKS

I have been going to Dr.Argov for 10 years. He has been nothing but wonderful. With my 1st pregnancy, I had a major problem that resulted in me having to terminate it early on. Dr. Argov was very supportive, helpful, and encouraging. A year later I delivered my 1st daughter with him and he was there every step of the way, making my 1st experience as comfortable as it could of been. When I got pregnant with twins, he honestly told me that I am better off with a doctor who specializes in high risk pregnancies. After I had my twins, he has operated on an ovarian cyst and saved my ovary. Overall, I find that he is very capable and takes his time with giving you detailed information and reasoning of why he feels something should or shouldn't be done. Highly recommended!

I have been a patient for about 5 years. Was recommende dto him with my 1st pregnancy and had the easiest delivery ever. He did have some health concerns for me and the baby so he sent me to various specialists to make sure evrything was perfect. had the easiest delivery of my 1st baby girl. As far as the 2nd delivery I keep telling everyone that if he had not been there and act the way he did my 2nd baby might have nevr made it out. I am grateful to him and his expertise!

The doctor does make stupid jokes and he is rude. Not to mention that now when I switched to a different doctor who delivered my second baby I can surely see huge difference. I know Dr. Argov for over 10 years, he had delivered my first baby. I didn't have any complications with my pregnancy, however Dr. was cold and unattentive and even during the delivery he came only when the baby was ready to come out, plus the after birth period was a nightmare. Then after seven years I was pregnant again and I came to his office. They have new rule now that you can't use cell phone while waiting in the office. I didn't know about this rule since for 10 years everybody was using cell phones in his offices. Basically the doctor almost throw me out the office because I used the cell phone, in spite of me being pregnant and having known him for 10 years already. I'm very happy that I went to another doctor. He was with me through my delivery and after the healing was very fast.

I went to Dr Argov in 1997 a couple of times & he did not take my complaints seriously enough. I had spottings in between my periods & was concerned, but he said it was fine. However I went to another Dr & he sent me to a sonogram & there was a 5x6 cm cyst on my ovary which had to be operated on ASAP. The new Dr explained to me that if I did not seek a second opinion I would have lost my ovary. Needless to say, I never returned to Dr A. I can add that his bedside manner is poor, he makes stupid jokes (for example, he commented on a tattoo on my ankle which I did not appreciate at all) and does not come across as a knowledgeable specialist. Last but not least, I came on time but had to wait about 1,5 hours to see him which is appalling.

Dr. Argov has changed drasctically for the past few years. I used to go to him, and he was ok. However, I have refferred few friends to him and all of them were dissapointed. He was very cold, very brief, did not do regular procedures(vitals)not even a pregnancy test- and that to a friend who told him she is probably pregnant (even though have charged for everything). Total dissapoitment. Will never reccomend him again.

Knowledgeble, caring, no nonsense doctor. Always makes a patient feel comfortable, takes time to answer all questions/concerns. I always go to his office on Lexington - never have to wait. I have been a patient of Dr. Argov for 8 years, he delivered my first daughter and everything went smoothly. Very happy and highly recommend Dr. Argov.

I found Dr. Argov to be very knowledgeable and helpful. He was very caring throughout my pregnancy and I am lucky to have had him as my doctor. I was referred to him by a friend and plan to refer my friends to him as well.

This doctor is extremely rude, I just came from his office, it was such a waste of time. Don't go to him if you have the choice. He is very condescending and impolite.

He has been my GYN for the past 13 years. HE has delivered both of my girls successfully (the last was a c-section). He is knowledgable and kind. He always asks me about my kids and has my best interest at heart. Thanks for everything Dr. Argov.

The doctor delivered my baby 8 months ago. Everything went well. I had a scheduled a C-section due to baby in upside down position. Doctor is knowledgeable and not pushy. He had told me all my choices. The surgery went well, and now I have a healthy 8 months old girl. Natalya

Dr. Argov did a pap for me which came out abnormal. He scheduled me to come in for a coposcopy, but my father (who is also a OB/GYN) asked to first see the results. The results were on a very low scale and the usual protocol is to wait 6 months and re-test, not go in for an invasive coposcopy. I cancelled, went to another gynocologist and sure enough, I was normal. Furthermore, I just received a lab bill that claims he tested me for chlamydia and gonorrhea, which I never requested. Not to mention I never got a letter with my results. This doctor is a scam who treats his office like a car salesman, trying to upsell you on treatments without your ever knowing. I highly discourage anyone to see him.

Perhaps this Doctor is good as an obstetrician, but as a gynecologist I found him sub par. I had called specifically to get the HPV Vaccine, knowing insurance does not cover it. What I did not expect is he would try to justify a $130 price increase on the sale of the vaccine. My father is a practicing gynecologist in another state and so I have opted to have him send me the vaccine so I would not have to pay the exorbitant $250 a shot. He seemed more interested in trying to gain sympathy for insurance companies lower reimbursement rates than actually listening to what I was asking him. It's true that he has no bedside manner, but listening would sure help.

Dr. Argov is truly the BEST! He is very knowledgable in what he does. Thanks to him, I delivered a beautiful baby girl without an epidural (it was not my choice, previous surgery prevented me from getting an epidural). I recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest, knowledgeable and helpful doctor

After being disappointed with two other doctors, I went to see Dr. Argov upon recommendation. I stayed with him from 4 months on through delivery of my daughter. He's a direct, matter-of-fact and knowledgeable doctor. Caring enough but not too sweet. I like that. I do a lot of research online and he always answered all my questions. He is not very supportive of "all-natural" births, however, so if that's what you need, he's not your best bet and said so himself. He thinks going without epidural is unnecessary stress on mother & doctor. At the same time, I didn't want many invasive procedures and was wary of an episiotomy, so he went along with my preference since it was safe enough in my case. His staff is friendly but not intrusive. Both the Brooklyn and Manhattan offices are clean. And even in the city, on a week day, the wait wasn't too long. Beth Israel, his hospital, was good to me - great, caring nurses.

Dr. Argov monitored my pregnancy after the 3rd month and delivered my child. Once I became pregnant, I went through three doctors, looking for someone whom I could trust and Dr. Argov was it. He is very helpful, knowledgeful and just plain nice. He has the best bedside manners ever. I highly recommend him.

Made me come all over to his office, wait for an hour, and said that I should find another doctor becuase my insurance does not pay him enough. Also, noted that I should be very thankful to him for letting me know now instead when I am due. Overall , the doctor seemed very cold and unwelcomed. His manner are terrible. ONly thing he cares is money, not patients

I will never forget what an impact Dr. Argov made on my life and my family's life. Dr. Argov delivered both of my sons, thanks to him I have two beautiful healthy boys. The attention and compassion I recieved under his care is uncomparable. He is truly a professional in every sense of the word. And in addition to being very knowledgable he is very approachable, easy to talk to and has a great personality. If your looking for an honest, sincere, compassionate and knowledgable doctor I can't recommend anyone else as strongly as I do DR ARGOV!

Had to wait a bit but mostly punctual, also seemed knowledgeable. However, he has an AWFUL personality, didn't even congratulate me, VERY cold. This is not the kind of man you want delivering your baby. I am switching.

I had the worst experience with this doctor.I came to him by recommendation, but ended up requesting a record transfer to my original doctor after my third visit.He was very unprofessional, was not concerned about my needs, nor was he caring or compassionate.On my lasy "visit" with him, he actually said that I was making a big deal about his office constantly creating avoidable mistakes. He spoke to me like I was a nobody and waved me off while he walked away, all while I was trying to speak with him. His personnel spoke in russian around patients, rarely in english, which made is obvious that they were discussing patient situations right in front of them,not taking into concern patient privacy.This office is not one for anyone other than russian women. At least that's how they made me feel. Who would want to pay for terrible medical service, especially something as personal as ob-gyn care.

Wonderful personable and very knowledgeable doctor. I have been going to him for years and recommended many many friends. He delivered my son two years ago and has been absolutely amazing in many high risk pregnancies. He truly treats you as a person and takes great care to insure you have a healthy pregnancy and the easiest possible delivery.

Great doctor. I have introduced many friends to him, and everyone is very happy. He gave my friend a free consultation over the phone, when she was admitted to the hospital, and turned out she didn't need an operation the hospital was suggesting.
