As written back in July I cannot recommend Dr Yerg, based on my experience. Dr Wiseman is great as I mentioned earlier, but could not take me as his patient. Also as stated earlier in July Dr. Yerg does not go beyond doing the minimum and that has not changed but got worse since I last saw him, especially not being truthful with me about a matter which was serious in nature at the hospital and with very little communication or follow-up. He was my physician for over 4 years but after reassessing his untruthfulness to me I have dramatically changed my opinion of him and it is much worse than before and do not plan on seeing him again. The only thing that had kept me seeing him was that I had no choice due to my insurance policy as stated before but fortunately that has changed as well. I have a far better and far more honest doctor now.
Doctor Yerg was not very helpful in my case during hospitalization and not very honest with me either unfortunately. It wouldn't have hurt had he seen me a little more at the hospital
I concur with the previous poster in that Dr. Yerg will not go beyond doing the minimum, but I disagree with his suggesting he might not be a "bad doc" because when you do the minimum and delegate your responsibility of your patients to others that is not being a good doctor at all. In fact, that is being a very bad doctor.
I cannot recommend DR Yerg, based on my experience. His partner,Dr Wiseman is great, but could not take me as his patient. In my opinion Dr Yerg does not go beyond doing the minimum. When it comes to to needing forms filled out he charges to do so!.He has been my physican for 4 years. Maybe not a bad doc,but not one I feel great about .Several of his staff are difficult to deal with & the office is shabby, small & stuffy.Altogether,a situation I find myself stuck with by my insurance policy.
Kind, caring and skilled. Doesn't rush - which why he is sometimes behind schedule as he will take time to listen to you. Always feel better after talking with him. As an RN and patient, my assment is that I am lucky to to be his patient.
