4/22/13 1 1 1 1 Dr. Fein misdiagnosed my father w/Lyme Disease and therefore cheated him out of years of being treated for his true illness, Multiple Sclerosis. His condition is very dire and her treating him for the wrong disease for years has only made it worse.  Respond

10/17/11 5 4 5 5 A gifted doctor. Dr. Leslie Fein is my real life Dr. House. She is an extraordinary diagnostician...I have seen MANY doctors and never witnessed anything even remotely close. If you complain about her or the staffs disposition then u do not understand what that office goes through and sacrifices. I personally LOVE the staff and can't help but look at Dr. Fein in awe every time I see her. Thank u sincerely dr. Fein. It is a long, difficult battle with Lyme I am so happy u are at my side. Also a very special thank u to that insanely selfless, kind, sweet, and funny nurse who travels there to help us take care of our Picc lines etc. Thank u love u! I have never met someone so willing to go out of her way for others. So rare. Appreciate u C.!  Respond

4/7/11 1 1 1 4 WARNING!!! Do not go to this Dr!!! She is arrogant, uncaring, and downright mean. She knows about lyme and is passionate about it but does not care about her patients. What I like about her was that she wasn't agressive agairst the lyme..she also has away of getting you iv medication through your insurance ..she is smart in that way.. . BUT her bedside manner was the WORST of any Dr I have ever been too. She is very unprofessional and full of her self i was actually scared of her bc she was so mean.. yelling at staff and patients. The only time she ever smiled was when she found a tick in a patient and put it in a sealed bag in a box with the rest of her tick collectIon!!! A VERY unpleasant staff atmosphere and experience!!!

2/25/11 3 4 5 5 I have had Lyme & Bartonella for about 5 years. For the past 15 years, every 6 months I took a Western Blot test, and for 15 years tested negative. [I was using the wrong labs]. Lyme had made its way into my brain, and through an MRI & SPECT scan, I saw that I now had 8 holes in my brain... it was being slowly eaten away. I saw 7 specialists in NYC and NJ. Finally, I made an appointment with Dr Fein after hearing her lecture. Very knowledgeable. I got to the point where my speech was slurred, and I was not able to finish the end of a sentence. In 3 months under her care, things are much better. She is gentle with the antibiotics, and cares about the body in a holistic manner. YES SHE IS DIRECT, but to me this means that she will fight for me. AND ONLY ONE PERSON ON HER STAFF OF 7 IS RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL, so don't let this one rotten apple spoil it for you. Dr Fein is a tough cookie, and I am appreciative to have someone of her ilk in the trenches with me fighting my battle with Lyme.

2/11/11 5 5 5 5 Dr. Fein is a phenomenal physician, probably the top lyme doc in the whole tri state area. She's brilliant and truly cares. Very rare for doctors to email you on weekends, no less. My only regret is that we didnt find her sooner. She's pro active and nipped my lyme in the bud immediately. After 3 drs. and Mayo Clinic all misdiagnosed my daughter, Dr. Fein nailed it and is doing everything she can to help her fight this wicked disease. She absolutely treats the WHOLE person and is one of the most special people on the planet. If only there were more doctors like her.

8/1/10 4 4 5 5 I was given an ALS diagnosis and told to join a clinical trial when Dr. Fein diagnosed me with Lyme. I had been to several neurologists in NYC - top hospitals. I had no hope walking into her office. I found her to be very kind after the first 20 minutes. She knows her stuff. Took the time to type up all the instructions herself which was good as I walked out with what I needed. She's tops! Besides the Lyme she solved a few other things I had just by reviewing other doctors information - things they never told me - she is very thorough.

9/27/09 4 3 5 5 I had to wait an hour to get in. But after a year of wasting my time with doctors who didn't help me I didn't mind. She took the time to hear my whole story and performed an exceptional physical exam that no other dr came close to. She's tough and will fight to do what's right to help. I'm glad I waited for exceptional treatment.

4/6/09 1 3 1 4 DO NOT GO TO THIS DR!!! During my 3 hour consultation the dr. bad mouthed other insurance accepting dr's that I had previously seen, even telling me one had sued her. She typed up my information on her computer while we sat there, which was rude. After consult and starting meds, I had a reaction and called her office. She would not get on the phone to speak with me (on 3 separate occassions) and the nurse was so rude, like I was bothering her. Then they told me to email her if I needed more information on my meds. She charges for email communications. NO JOKE!!! She responded back to my inqury email telling me "Cannot possibly read long emails but will print and file". Though I think she knows lymes very well, I would not recommend her at all. The service and her bedside manner were a disgrace, especially after paying $750. The way she runs her business is a crime!!!

12/21/08 5 3 5 5 There isn't a smiley face big enough for a doctor who saved your life. She is extremely knowledgeable; is always up on the latest research; looks at the whole person; and, due to her experience with the disease, is able to make connections that others may not.

12/7/07 5 5 5 5 Dr Fein is truly a brillant and exceptional physician. After viewing A&E Mystery DX, I convinced my mother (who had been suffering from similar symptoms since a tick bite in 2000) to make an appointment. When we packed in the car and made the 12 hr drive to NJ, we had just a glimmer of hope. Now we have a diagnosis and a plan. Dr Fein listened intently and responded with compassion and understanding. She answered all questions in depth, and offered resources and literature to support her treatment plan. She was never concerned with the time or method of payment, even though my mom didn't have any insurance. She said to me, "This is why I love my job, People like your mom come to me, I can help" She did in just 3 hours what 5 physicians in SEVEN years could not. She gave my mom a reason to keep living. :)  Respond

11/3/07 4 4 5 5 Been her patient since 1990. She's smart, sassy and is not afraid to do what is right. But, she'll tell you exactly how it is. Saved my mind from the ravages of Lyme when no one else believed after years of no treatment of Lyme disease.  Respond

10/10/07 1 1 1 5 Dr. Fein was extremely arrogant to me and rude at times. she took personal phone calls during my visit and then told me I was taking too much time. She may know lyme disease but she is impatient unless you fit into what she wants. I would actually get anxious before going to my appointments with her because she is pompous.

5/6/07 5 5 5 The foremost Lyme Specialist (although I think she'd prefer to be called an Internist) in the state, bar none, and I've been to several. She'll take time with you, is thorough and tenacious, and will get you the help you need. She's punctual, forthright, does not BS, is not afraid to fight with the insurance companies, and has a professional and caring staff. Dr. Fein is in a different league from other practitioners who claim to be "Lyme Literate".  Respond

2/20/05 3 5 5 Dr. Fein helped save my life. She treated my Lyme disease after others turned me away, wasn't afraid to yell at the insurance companies either. For the first seven months I was seeing her I couldn't speak, but she just stuck with it, and now I'm in college, and doing a good job of it too. She will also tell you stories about the rocky horror show, and all her haloween costumes from days long yester. But yeah, she is one of the main reasons I graduated high school. I still keep in touch with her, it's been four years since my last IV line was pulled. Woot.
