I've been his patient since 2000 till his departure in 2008 to NY. Wishing him all the best, Dr's around the maritimes are all overbooked and overworked. Thank god we have them!

he asked questions and never let me answer them, then he brought me in an exam room, where he told my mother she was not alowed to leave and shoved a metal stick up my bum with NO WARNING while screaming relax.yeah right, you relax! I left and did not make another appointment but asked to be referred to another doctor. I understand it is not a pleasant examination to have, but he made it infinately more traumatizing

I enjoyed my treatment with Dr. Elsafadi, very proffesional. I found his staff to be caring and knowledgable as well. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had a consultation with Dr. El-Safadi. From my single visit with him I thought him very caring and thorough. Dunno, but I liked him and felt very comfotable with him.

Very good doctor with a good heart; we don't find them much anymore. I had more problem with his secretary's attitude and with the fact that he had too big a workload for one human being than with himself.
Moncton foolishly let him go and I hope he found a better place to work.

He basically told me that I had no options left, since no medication was helping, and all I had to do is wait for heaven...Then he told me he didn't wanna see me again, that's when I found out a few month later that he was gone to the state, and he never let me know that he was leaving..Thanx El Safadi

My grandmother of 86 years old had to get rebooked 3 times because he was overbooked! She suffered greatly each time because she had to take the "stuff" to clean her insides... That's hard on a normal healthy person! Imagine on an 86 year old that already has problems! I'm very disapointed with how he books his appointments!

I have mixed feelings, I've been seeing Doctor El-Safadi since I was 12, and he definitely knows what he's talking about and has greatly helped me. But I can relate when it comes to being late, or not having such great bedside manners. All in all though he knows his stuff and kept me in good health for almost 11 years.

Recently had an appt. with Dr. El-Safadi. Ran into the same problems as previously mentioned by other raters. It was a weird situation actually. I sat in front of him for approx. 20 min., after waiting almost 3 hours to see him. While I sat there, he just perused his paper work and completely ignored me. I wondered if I should get up and go back out to the waiting area ???, what's with this guy???!!!. I really don't understand his ideology on how he approaches his profession and his patient care. The behavior is not helpful to myself and obviously others and probably not to himself either. Dr. El-Safadi, if you happen to check out this site now and again, I respect all doctor's demands and accomplishments, but just as a reminder to you, we are HUMAN BEINGS with FEELINGS and life demands as well. Having us wait while you sit and peruse items is rude.Try putting yourself on the other side of the desk. It would have been nice to put something positive on here instead.

Very unhappy with this doctor. Does not seem to be interested in the reason why you're there to see him, and rushes you away from the office after a few minutes. It's very simple for the doctor, as it is for anybody else, if you don't like your job that much...find something else.

I must say, unfortunately I have to agree with most opinions here. It's a shame that a number of doctors take advantage of their positions and get too caught up in the "power" it affords them...what ever happened to the good clean, honest, sincere approach to medicine??...(rhetorical question). Dr. El-Safadi diagnosed my "problem" and left me with many unanswered questions and a lot of anxiety and lack of trust in his deductions. And it is not only Dr. El-Safadi who disrespects his patients and maybe forgets how much we value our lives...after all I am just "one of many with health problems".

i have to disagree with all the other commentators. I have been a patient of his since he is in Moncton and have thoroughly been pleased with the way he has handled many many internal health problems. SO WHAT IF YOU HAVE A WAITING PERIOD FOR HIM. HE IS IN DEMAND AND HAS SUPERIOR KNMOLWEDGE IN HE FIELD !!

All I can say is that I agree with almost all of the previous comments made. He is rude, always overbooks his appointment, very long waiting periods(2 to 3 hours), and seems to never know why you have an appointment with him. Then, when he is done with you, he rushes you away from his office, even if you have questions. I went to see him a few times, and he asked me all the same questions from previous appointments. The best was my last appointment, when he asked me if anybody from my immediate family had cancer. I answered yes, then he got angry, and asked me why I did not tell him that before! I had to let the good Doctor know that he had asked me that before, and that it was a detail that I would not have hidden from him. I would like to change Doctors, but I've been waiting to long to start all over again with another specialist. I'm caught between a rock and a hard place!

I have been a patient of this Dr. for many years. One apt. he tells me I have Chrone's disease and the next one he tells me I dont. Still not sure what I have. Every apt is 3 to 4 hrs. late. No excuse as I beleive he has no respect for his patients. He would certainly not see me if I was late for my apts. and my time is as precious as his, even if I dont have MD attached to my name...

He is rude, he doesn't know how to talk to people. In my case he made a judgement apparently without even looking at my medical record. He seemed to conclude that my condition was due to alcoholism even before asking me any questions. He told me to contact him if I had another crisis but when I did he said I was not one of his regular patients so he didn't receive me. I don't want to see him again.

Sure he knows his stuff, but he also thinks we know what he is talking about too without explaining anything. A diagnosis was given with no explanation, now that's helpful. Does not know how talk to people, and my husband always left without actually knowing what was going on. All he knew is that he had Crohn's. We don't even know what it is or what to do....all we knew is that this and that had to be taken and i'll see you in 3 months. Okay!?!?!? We had to go to his GP for actual explanation on everything. I don't know but I certainly would not recommend this one unless it is last resort. Is extremely late for everything!!!

Never on time for his appointments. Lets his patients wait for hours and never apoligizes for the delay. Gives a diagnostic about chances of cancer over the phone (instead of making an appointment) and insists already for surgery. I'm not treated by this doctor anymore.
