Doctor Kruger will be very sorely missed. He is leaving very big shoes to be filled. I wonder if he might have been more likely to stay in Candada if the Government hadn't made things so difficult for him and his family.

Dr.Kruger is amazing. He cured my painful cramps from endometriosis with his skill at the laser laparoscopy. The to add the icing to the cake, he helped us to conceive when our previous doctor had ordered me a hysterectomy at age 25. Now we're expecting twins, and owe it all to him. Today was my last visit with him on his last day of work in Campbell River. He is moving home. He will sorely missed.

Dr. Kruger is an incredible doctor....all the things written about him on this site couldn't be more true. HOWEVER....he really needs to take a closer look at his staff...1 receptionist in particular. After coming in for several appointments last year (and having subsequent surgery) I received a $50 missed appointment bill 6 months later. Knowing that I certainly DID NOT EVER miss an appointment (and having spoken to the receptionist several times in an attempt to clear this misunderstanding up)I never heard another thing from his office again. That was fine, until I needed to see him again this year to discuss my failed surgery....as soon as he received my referral, I got another $50 notice and was told I wouldn't get an appointment without paying it!! My family GP tried to intervene, but was shot down by "the receptionist"....shame on you for putting $50 before my health....I now have to see a doctor in Comox. I'm not impressed.

Before meeting Dr. Kruger, I was told he would be the nices gynecologist I'd ever met and he was!! He is confident, knowledgeable and capable...and as a gynecologist has the best feature ever - when I recommended him to a friend, he honestly couldn't remember me! THAT is very comforting to a woman after a pelvic exam!!

I work at the hospital -we are truly blessed to have such a fine caring polite Dr.- his passion for his practice and his sensitivity to staff as well as patients makes working in this high stress area a little bit more bearable.

Ditto to all of the other positive comments. Dr. Kruger is an excellent OBGYN and we are very lucky to have him. Although I may have been able to have my surgery more quickly in another community, I would prefer to stay here with the excellent care that he provides.

I had the pleasure of having this specialist deliver my first baby here in Campbell River. I would have to agree with all of the awesome comments about this Doctor; he is the most professional doctor that I have had the opportunity to meet. He was very efficient, very personable and never once made me feel rushed or that my opinion didn't matter. He was the BEST!!!

Dr. Kruger is a model physician - kind, caring, sensitive, informative and gentle. He is a wonderful man and we are so lucky in a small town to have such a top-notch ob/gyn. I would see him for all my health care, if I could. So glad he is staying!!

Dr. Kruger did a vaginal/rectal repair on me on Monday, May 28/07. I found him to be the best doctor I have ever had. His compassion, empathy, and understanding was amazing. He was very gentle and caring for both my mental and medical needs. I would highly rec. him and am so glad he is staying in Canada. I hope he and his family make Campbell River their permanent home. Thank you Dr. Kruger.

Very sensitive to my needs as a patient and has a wealth of knowledge. He recognized the need for an emergency c-section and very likely saved my life.

Dr.Kruger was able to put me at ease in the most stressful time of my life. He seems very caring and generally loves working with woman and babes. Campbell River is very lucky to have such a first rate doctor when he could be very succesful in a big city!

Dr. Kruger was very helpful and reasuring for myself and my growing family. We had to have our baby delivered in Campbell River (away from home, which made me very nervous) and he took the time to make sure all our questions and concerns were met. Thank you for delivering our healthy baby boy and taking such good care of us :0)

Campbell River is extremely lucky to have Dr. Kruger as our OBGYN. He is the most knowlegeble man in his field I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is a wonderful human being who genuinely cares for people and especially women. He performed a sticky C section on my 3rd baby in record time. His bedside manner is exceptional and he really succeeds in making his patients feel comfortable. Dr. Kruger is an asset to this community and to his field. Shame on the Canadian Government for making his life uncomfortable for his family and ultimately putting patients last. He is a wonderful physician with many many skills that help all his patients. I certainly hope that he receives kudos for sticking with his plea for permanent residency. I thank him on behalf of all his patients and hope that he has many more years of practice in Campbell River. Way to Go Dr. Kruger. You have impacted the lives of many people with your selfless attitude and wonderful ability. Thank you!

The best doctor I have ever seen. Not only was he able to diagnos my kidney problems, but was firm in telling me to go straight home and insisted on calling my boss as I am a workaholic. He definitely has your best interests and health at heart!

I agree with the other comments, he is very personable, very knowledgable, and validated my thoughts about my obgyn problems. He actually LISTENED and empathized and offered hope, unlike another gynecologist I had seen. I was very pleased with my appointment with Dr. Kruger.

Dr. Kruger is a fantastic OB/Gyn!! He has a wonderful bedside manner and is very compassionate with his patients. He performed endometrial ablation on me last year and I tell you, he is a miracle worker!!
