After reading the one negative review I am wondering if the upset person saw the same Dr Cara Walther that took care of my knee surgery. My experience with fire dept work related double meniscus tears was outstanding. She saw me twice before the surgery, twice the day of the surgery that took less than an hour and then two more follow-ups before my release. In three days I was walking tenderly without a crutch and my recovery was much faster than I expected. My knee is much better now than it has been in years. Back to playing soccer with my kids at 55. I just recommended her to a friend who is unsure of the surgeon that is scheduled to cut on her knee in a week.

Dr. Walther is a precise surgeon who cares greatly about her patients. I went to 2 other doctors before I selected Dr. Walther. She performed total ACL constructions on both knees. Today I am again skiing and hiking, thanks to her excellent surgical skills and informative, caring follow-up visits.

Dr. Walther showed no concern for me as a patient. She is only interested in the $ she makes. On my visit she actually told me if people would just 'Believe they were healed they were'. She needs to focus on practicing medicine and not faith healing. She wrote releases to SAIF without actually seeing me, stopped my treatment 2 months after surgery, and told me and SAIF directly opposing information. When caught doing this she refused to answer phone calls and said I was done with treatment when I still did not have mobility, strength, or pain relief. I would NEVER refer anyone to Dr. Walther. Choose another physician if you are looking for someone who still cares about their patient's needs and not about the money. She is a perfect example of what socialized healthcare would be like.

After having been diagnosised and gone through surgery and now in the healing processes I can highly recommend Dr Walther and her staff to anyone wanting to get diagnosised and on the way to recovery with honesty and professionalism. Such a rare, straight shooting doctor and supporting staff is refreshing in the Medical fields of today.
