Dr. Ubhi is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He performed my total abdominal hysterectomy last month. No complications. He is a very caring, friendly, and attentive surgeon. His bedside manner is warm and lovely, and his constantly smiling and calmness made my operation and recovery a positive experience. I am extremely thankful for his big help, and to God who sent him to solve my problem, I highly recommend him! Thanks Dr. Ubhi.

I was referred to Dr. Ubhi for a female operation, and found not only his staff, but Dr. Ubhi himself to be quick witted and humorous, yet professional. They quickly put me at ease about my issue, and it was dealt with in a very fast manner. In fact, the operation itself happened within days due to a cancellation at the hospital. No complications, and Dr. Ubhi even left me an encouraging personalized note to read after I woke up. Thank you to him and his staff. I am entirely grateful for your assistance.

Dr. Ubhi is the best OB ever! He always has time for your questions and makes you feel comfortable. He doesn't rush the visit at all. His warm smile and great sense of humour make you feel safe. My husband did a residency rotation with Dr. Ubhi and loved him so much he wanted me to see him when I got pregnant again. So far I have gone to Dr. Ubhi for 2 pregnancies and I had a wonderful experience both times. Thanks Dr. Ubhi.

Dr. Ubhi is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He performed both of my c-sections with my 2 pregnancies, as well as appointments related to complications with my first pregnancy. His bedside manner is lovely. He is warm and caring. I never felt like "just a number". Best bonus - he uses stitches rather than staples so I don't have cross marks on my scar.

I was very disappointed with the care I got from Dr Ubhi when I needed a biopsy about 2 years ago. Every time I had an appointment, I was taken care of by a student, a different one every time, who didn't know what she was doing. Having a student try to do a biopsy was very painful, and she had to keep trying, as she didn't have the knowledge she needed. One of the students had the gall to try and give me a bad time about HRT, even though it was none of her business, and I had to tell her so, so when Dr ubhi came into the room, he told her to back off. He told me the pain shouldn't bother me when the student tried to do a biopsy, as I already had given birth 3 times. I feel he did not show any respect for me as a patient at all, I had an appointment with him, I didn't make the appointment to be poked and prodded by an inexperienced student.The last time I saw him, he was an hour late getting to the office, and gave me about 2 minutes,even though my Doc had insisted I go to him again.

Dr.Ubhi is very nice. I love his humour & the relaxing vibe he gives off. He makes the whole experience more pleasent.I had a Women Dr. before him I felt so weird, ironic eh. He explains everything.He took the time to talk to me & reasure me that everything was going to be fine. He was the dr. for my cousins as well & they love him. He helped them have beautiful & healthy babies. His staff is very friendly & always are willing to help.Whenever I go in they always greet me with a smile. I just really like the environment of the there office.

He is a very helpful and always caring for his pts. During my first pregnancy, Dr. ubhi performed oophrectomy for me and I was able to have a beautiful son without any problem. He was always answering or returning my phone call whenever I want to ask him something. I am not sure if any other dr. would do the samething as he did without making any appointment.

Dr. Ubhi performed my cesarean and did not wait for the spinal to take it's full affect so I felt him cutting. He seemed to rush through everything. 2 days following the surgery he finally came to see how the incision was doing. Seems there is a shortage of nurses at RCH that he said I could go home that day. The following week I caught a terrible infection and was haemoraging vaginally, a trip to emergency and a 2 hour wait and a blood test confirmed the infection, I was given antibiotics and following day had an ultrasound confirming that he did not do a proper scrape of my uterus and left fragments which caused the infection. Had he of taken a little time this would not have happened. He was more concerned about clearing out beds so that the nurses didn't have as much to do. As my husband was coming to pick me up he heared Dr. Ubhi say, 'looks like I will have the whole floor cleared by the end of the day'. I felt more like a number than a patient.

I had 2 lap surgerys for endometriosis with Dr. Ubhi. He was very caring, good listener, professional attitude. When it came time where he didnt think he could help my Endo out anymore, he refered me to the best Endo surgeron in the country. Ive been endo free now for 5 years.

very weak service. always the time I need Dr. he is not in office & his staff is very unhelpful.
I got a urgent problem he said something which is not related at all & refered to another Dr., after one week his secretory got appointment for next 6 months which is rediculous! I need to see Specialist now!! well I am so regret to choose this Dr. & won't recommend to others! that is right patient needs to see smiley face which he is but patient needs to be looked after by Dr. and get service as well which he was not accurate in his job which made another problem for me as well.

Dr.Ubhi just did my hysterectomy and I will be recommending him to every single woman I know with 'girl' problems. His calmness and sense of humor helped me though a very scary time.

wonderful doctor with the best bedside manner that a OB patient could ever want. was the most wonderful reasurance when i went into pre-term labour with my first daughter. I have never met another Dr. with the same caring, knowledgeable atitude in his field....not only did I love my experience with Dr.Ubhi my entire family did as well..he made sure that everyone knew what was going on and that he was doing everything he could to make things work out...my wonderful daughter was born 8 weeks later thanks to Dr.Ubhi and all of his skill!

I met Dr. Ubhi in 2000 - he is definitely THE BEST. I had Hyperemesis Gravidarium with my first pregnancy and was hospitalized several times throughout because I couldn't keep anything down for days and weeks on end and had to be fed intravenously. He was amazing - has an excellent bedside manner, sits and talks to you and explains things to you and ensures you understand everything. He has an attitude that tells you he actually cares. I had him again for my second pregnancy and although I did not have the difficulties I had had with my first, he was on top of making sure I was taken care of. In the end, after being induced and in full on labour, when the nurses were trying to talk me out of having pain relief, Dr Ubhi showed up and all I had to say was "I WANT DRUGS!!" and it was done. No questions, nothing. Next to my family doctor, he is the best doctor I have ever had and his patients are lucky to have him. I highly, highly recommend him!

After moving to Maple Ridge, from Richmond and getting hypertension in my 32 week of pregnancy, it was not practical driving back and forth, so I was refered to Dr.Ubhi.It was the best thing that may have happened.I was hospitalized 2 weeks before my son came, and he was the only DR that would tell me straight foward what was going on, and was the only one that could calm me.After 3 days in the delivery roon, My son decided it was time to come out, because DR.Ubhi, was the Dr on call.He is a great Dr, and I can not wait to go back to him, for my next pregnancy.

Had gyne surgery with Dr. Ubhi. His staff fit me in quickly, he did the surgery with a spinal, as I requested, and discharged me when he said he would...early. For surgery, it was a good experience, and his sense of humour is great.

Dr Ubhi was wonderful. My obgyn during a difficult pregnancy (2 car accidents). He has a kind and caring attitude. He answered all the easy typical pregnancy question and gave solutions that worked. Also helped me deal with the hard stuff too. He delivered my son via emergency C-section and it was great. The total package and a sense of humor too.

Dr. Ubhi was the lead surgeon for the emergency caesarean at my son's birth. He has a great bedside manner. I found him to be very empathetic and reassuring, constantly smiling and at ease. The surgery and recovery went very well.

I met Dr. Ubhi in October 2005 and he pratically saved my life. I had been at Royal Columbian Hospital emergency for over 6 hours, in excruciating pain, waiting for a obs/gyn specialist to see me. The ER nurse knew I was in great pain BUT still placed every patient brought in by EMS ahead of me although they had no visible trauma and seemed calm they were attended to almost ASAP. An ER doctor on duty, ignored me until I was crying and wailing from pain then he ordered Morphine shots which were almost not administered. It look 3-4 shots to hold the pain. FINALLY Dr. Ubhi, who had just arrived came to examine me, he immediately sensed the urgency of the matter and took control of the situation and in 30 mins, I was in the OR. Thank you - Dr. Ubhi.

Dr. Ubhi is the BEST. If it weren't for Dr. Ubhi my son would not be here today. He performed emergency surgery on me when I was only 8 weeks pregnant with my son to remove a 7 cm cyst that wrapped around my ovary. He took no chances and even made a few phone calls, post surgery, to some collegues to ensure he was giving me the best possible care. No ego, just a very caring, gentle Dr. with incredible bedside manner. you are in great hands with Dr. Ubhi.

Went to Dr Ubhi after several years of infertility (first OBGYN told us we were too old). Although we didn't continue seeing him (no pregnancy success), he was kind, considerate and straight forward in his dealings with us. He did not discourage us, or make any judgements regarding our ages and child bearing in our meetings. Wish we'd continued exploring treatment options with him. He's a GREAT OBGYN!

i only saw dr once has i was prego and was taken to hospital due to car accident...he was on call and would not discharge me until he ran practically every test to insure baby was fine.... delivered a healthy baby girl 2 and half months later... awesome doctor...very funny....if i was gonna have more kids i would use him...

I was first referred to Dr.Ubhi 7 1/2 years ago when I was pregnant with my first son. My husband and I liked him so much we went back to Dr. Ubhi 18 months later when we were expecting our second son and 5 1/2 years later we are expecting our 3rd child and I am so happy to have Dr, Ubhi again to take care of me and deliver our baby girl. I would recommend Dr.Ubhi to anyone. He is the best Doctor. He is easy to talk to and he is always there for me no matter what time of day or night.

This doctor is the best. Very patient and understanding, he was very helpful throughout my pregnancy and funny. I was in and out of the hospital for 3days before my son arrived.(guess he wanted Dr. Ubhi to deliver him.

During my first pregnancy, Dr. Ubhi was referred to me by a friend. I am so lucky to have him as my doctor. He is very knowledgeable, funny and honest. Unfortunately, he wasn't on call when I went into labor :( It was a little disappointing, but he came by the next morning to check up on me. It was nice to see a familiar face! I have already recommended Dr. Ubhi to my friends. I only wish he could continue to look after me post baby!

Dr Ubhi is a great and a very heplful doctor, he took care of me in all my three pregnancies and he really did a tremendous job especilly during my delivery, the best thing about him is if there is something wrong you just tell him the symptoms he just understands your problem what, why is it happening plus helps you to understand the problem and how to deal with it.sometimes you have to wait for him even past your appointment time but its worth the time.
