I used to see Dr. Irani, but started going to a new dr because the wati to see Irani was ALWAYS three or four hours. My new dr. was closed on a saturday when I needed to see someone for a bladder infection. I saw the dr. and she took a culture. I called Tuesday for the results, nothing. I called Wednesday for the results, nothing, I called again Thrusday, nothing. I was in a great deal of pain, no one seemed to care. By the time I called again 7 days later to get the results, they had come back positive for an infection, but no one had bothered to call me. thank god in the mean time I had gone to my new dr and was well on my way to recovery. I don't know why dr Irani needed to take over 7 days to determine if I had a bladder infection. If I had waited for her I would have had a kidney infection as well as one hell of an uncomfortable 7 days. I should have known better than to go to her again. Just thought I would warn you people. FIND ANOTHER DR. Dr. Irani and her staff are the worst.

30 years ago she was a kind, gentle, caring doctor,(other than never offering pain medication even for Endometriosis) what happened to her, from reading these posts it doesn't eben seem like the same lady who delivered my son back then?? Time to retire Dr. Irani, money isn't everything.....people count for more!

Worst doctor ever---change to a doctor who cares. After the delivery of my second child and having had enough of waiting in their waiting room for three hours every appointment, I switched for my third child. I never got my records because they said they lost them....I had 2 C-sections and my new doctor had to request the records from the hospital because Irani's office would not release them. She should be put out of business.

I used to work for Dr. Irani. I found that she was very rude and loud. She never could control her temper and would take hours to see patients. Even when the office was busy, she would sit in her office and kick back and relax while her workers were stressing trying to find files and help patients. I think I wasted my time working for her. She will never thank you for the hard EXTRA work you do that you are not even supposed to be doing. She is impatient and psychotic. DO NOT WORK FOR HER!

This dr is unbelievable!! I went to her seeking help with unbearable abdominal pain from endometriosis. She was rude and uncaring that I was in a tremendous amount of pain. She didn't even bother to examine me and said all she would do for me was tie my tubes. What does that have to do with anything and then told me she wouldn't give me anything for the pain. I never asked for any to begin with only wanted to have the situation taken care of. Wouldn't recommend her to take care of an insect much less a human being. Anyone who goes to her should have their heads examined.

I have been a patient for years until today. The staff is rude and disorganized. The doctors have poor bedside manner and have to constantly be reminded of procedures they themselves have performed on me. This includes a miscarriage at 24 weeks. At every appointment I had to rehash that nightmare to get my doctors up to speed. The office is always dirty the bathrooms are disgusting. Today was the final straw. Having to book a procedure for exploratory surgery was like trying to get my cat to take his meds. No one returned my calls at all on Monday. I called back Tuesday but I was put on hold for 10 minutes. When I called again, phones would go directly into voicemail, which were full. I looked up another doctor and made an appointment with her. When someone finally called me back from Irani's office I told them I would need my records for the new doctor and was told that by law they had a right to hold them for 30 days. They were willing to put my health at risk out of spite. Beware.

I am trying now since the end of October to get my medical records. This doctor told me that I was harrassing her and that I should take legal action to get my records. I have now filed a complaint with the medical licensing board and am waiting to hear. If you use this doctor be sure she's the only one you will ever want to see because you will never get your records. What a nightmare this has been. I didn't want to fight - only wanted to go to a new doctor.

Spent 10 years here. Dr. Irani treats us like a cattle number and no personalized services at all. Oh, she may act as though you are #1 on her list but down the line you're lucky if she remembers you at all. Each time I went back I had a different diagnosis from the last time. Finally had it after a 4 hour wait to see her and no apologies. Forget about getting medical records. That's a joke. All other doctors who get her patients know to start a new file & hope for the best. Please think twice about going here. Speak with a nurse in Hack maturnity ward to see the good doctors are to chose from. Many many out there who run normal businesses who treat patients much better & not have an 8 month prego wait 4 hours to be seen by a different doctor. Just my feelings mind you.

I've gone to this doctor for a long time, over 25 years, and I'm so disappointed at the downward spiral of her attitude and the office staff. Long waits in the waiting room followed by a long wait in the exam room and then the doctor comes in and it wasn't the one I had the appointment with. Test results are not handled professionally or knowledgeably, but by office staff, who although nice, are not prepared to answer questions or give advice. Although I think the skill and ability are there, with Dr. Irani, the enthusiasm and caring are gone. Sad to say, I'm looking for a new OB/GYN. The waiting time is not justified. There is no personal care, very little listening and just a lack of humanity.I'm sad and sorry to write this, but it is true. I cannot recommend Dr. Irani.

let's put it this way...my wife had a DNC, and dealing with a miscarriage is hard enough. What made it worse was having one of the office staff call us a few weeks later and tell us that we should come in because my wife was pregnant. The most incompitent, unprofessional, and uncaring staff I have every encountered in a medical office. They were always concerned about if we had paid our co-pay more than if my wife and baby were healthy and on track for a normal pregnacy.

After 17 years I finally convinced myself enough was enough. After Dr. Irani removed an ectopic pregnancy from me in April, I had a follow-up appt. and bloodwork done to see if my HCG levels went down. Well 2 days after the bloodwork and not even a week after the surgery she calls me to tell me that my bloodwork came back and I was pregnant. I told her she is wrong that she
just removed an ectopic and her excuse was "oh I don't have your file in front of me. Call back and ask for the nurse". Well I did and the
nurse did the same thing. Very insensitive. The wait in her office is always 1 - 3 hours. She also told me to go ahead and try getting
pregnant again when she should have been sending me to a fertility specialist. Luckily my new doctor sent me. Stay away from this office!
Receptionists are ****y and the nurses don't read charts.

I divorced this doctor office today after waiting for more than an hour. I have been going there for 6 years and it hasn't changed a bit. Luckily I survived my first pregnancy and delivery with no problems but at times the wait time was more than 3 hours!!!! They are so ignorant and impolite. I know making a change is a tough decision - and this is the first time I have ever divorced a doctor - but I feel so good!!!! It's so not worth to go through this trouble everytime... You wait for at least 1 hour - then you get nervous that you waited so long - then the doctor gets nervous because you are nervous and its downhill from there on...

Everything posted is pretty dead on. I started seeing Dr. Irani when I was 14. Every annual visist was a NIGHTMARE. I made an appt, didn't matter, I waited for about 2hrs to be taken into an exam room only to wait another hour to be examined which lasted all of 30 seconds. She was cold and quick. I wised up in my late 20s when I was thinking of having a baby. I changed to Dr. Angela Wimmer and I can not say enough WONDERFUL things about her. I had no idea that an OB experience could be so wonderful. She was everything that Dr. Irani was NOT. Dr. Irani's office and exams made me feel like a piece of meet, never like a person. I am surprised more patients havent jumped ship. I for one am glad that I did. I have since had a son delivered by dr. wimmer. She is one of the best Drs, in any field, i have come across. I thank the heavens everyday I found her.

I just want to let people know that i also worked for these doctors and let me tell you Dr.I is very rude with all of her employees and the patients and her daughter is absolutely no better. It really upsets me that doctors like that are still doctors.Dr.I really has no morals for anyone. When i was there everyone worked there heart out and she still put you down like you were nothing to her. Also, for the patients people are right they do wait a very long time. theres no reason why that should happen.I finally left and never returned. I wouldn't bring my dog there.(sorry but its the truth).

I feel badly that so many people have had bad experiences with this practice. I've been going to them for over 10 years and now am expecting my first child. I've seen all three doctors and find them all to be very compassionate and knowledgeable. The office is by no means dirty like many have said and the wait really is never that bad, the longest I've ever waited was 40 minutes which if you ever been to a busy doctors office is pretty standard. I was very sick in the begining of my pregnancy and I feel that they took every precaution with me, made me feel comfortable and made sure that I was recieving the best care possible. Again I'm sorry that so many have supposedly had such bad experiences but I would reccomend all three of these doctors to anyone at anytime!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. There is nothing that I can say that everyone hasn't already said. I went in for an appointment and waited in the exam room for an hour. Then again (after I got impatient) in the waiting room for another hour only to find out that the doctor was on an "emergency call" and was unable to see me. I was so angry but tried not to flip out. They have given me wrong scripts, told me that if I suffer a miscarriage so what, the list goes on. They are terrible doctors with the WORST attitudes. I hate that place. I haven't had the chance to change docs but I am. I have one more appointment and believe me, I'm gonna let her know exactly how I feel about her piece of crap office and staff.

1. Charged Copayment $40.00 suppose to be $20.00. Be careful with your copayment. 2. Suppose to see Dr Irani but Dr D. will see the patient. Not sure why. 3. Dr D is so busy, if the patient(my wife) ask the list of questions we have, she says ask quickly I have to see lot of other patients. Irresponsible. They won't much time on the patient.

I've worked for few MD and I tought I've seen everything, but the treatment I received from the drs. in this practice was unacceptable. They were NEVER on scheudle-always waited over 1.5 to see dr.The breaking point for me was when I requested an ultrosuond to check cyst I had in my breast, which I was aware of and had checking on it once a year to make sure that nothing wrong is developing.Few days after my ultorsound I've received the message on my voice: "This is dr. D calling regarding your results.this is emergency.I need to speak with you ASAP"My heart froze.Called office which of course was closed. This was the longest night.Called in the morning, staff said she is busy and will call back,NEVER DID.called several times, but she was to BUSY to talk to me.I thought I've last stage of cancer & dying-not funny-at the age 25 and 2 wks before the wedding. After several calls she was VERY RUDE and said nothing is wrong it's only a cyst.I told her off.and told anyone I know to STAY AWAY!!!

I have gone to Dr. Irani for over 30 years. She and her practice have changed dramatically over that time. The staff is rude and incompetent. The wait to get connected to someone on the phone is outrageous, and the wait to see Dr. Irani is even worse. She called me at 8:30 on a Friday nigth to say she was 99% sure from my blood work that I had ovarian cancer. I literally almost fainted. I got a second opinion and thank God she was wrong. I had recently fallen and traumatized my liver which raises the same blood factor as ovarian cancer does. She never condidered any other diagnosis, but ovarian cancer. Thank God I went for a second opinion. Her attitude toward her patients has changed dramatically. She is no longer running a medical practice, she is running a business and running it poorly. Her staff is terrible and she has become irresponsible and uncaring to her patients. Find another doctor!

Went to her as my first gyno, maybe 15 yrs. ago. Ended up seeing her EIGHTEEN TIMES in one year for a chronic yeast infection--she just kept giving me pills that did nothing. (My next gynecologist told me just to cut down on dairy and sugar...Surprise! Haven't had a YI since!) Once, while examining my breasts, she told me I had nice eyes; during another breast exam, she told me she liked my perfume. Uh...WHAT? If I hadn't been so young and naive, I would have reported her to whatever authority I could. When one of my relatives, who is a doctor, found out I was going to her, told me to stop immediately, and called her a "****." If I could rate her lower than a 1 on here, I would do that, too. Like a negative 50.

**** BE AWARE **** DO NOT send your loved ones to this doctors office. This doctor abandones her patients in the hospital. My pregnant wife was having heavy bleeding when she went to Irani's office. Irani, instead of calling an ambulance asked her to go to hospital for ultrasound. In that situation, when she reached hospital, she found out that the department she was sent to did not accept outpatients, she waited for 40 minutes in the waiting room while Irani's nurse kept telling us (over the phone) that they would accept her. Then Irani's office asked us to go to main radiology department. Looking at her situation, we went to ER. ER did the ultrasound eventually and when ER doctor called Irani, she refused to come check my wife's results and decide what to do. Irani asked the ER to call some hospital OBGYN to see my wife. She simply abandoned my wife there. Then one of the hospital doctor threatened Irani and she agreed to send another doctor after 18 hours or so. IRANI THE WORST DOC.

I have been a patient of Dr. Irani's for about 10 years now. I finally had a good experience at the Rutherford Office. I went in on Monday March 31st and there was a girl at the desk that I haven't seen before. She was very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful, even though she seemed to be training another person. I asked her name and was told it was Donna. Dr. Irani if you read these keep this girl at all costs. She is the first person in your office who treated a patient nicely. She didn't get angry or slam anything around (which is ususally what is done at the desk). She looked like she had it all under control. The office staff is usually terrible, but you seem to have gotten a good one. Wait time could be better, but I figure the wait is worth it to see a great doctor. Thank you, Dr. Irani for a pleasant office visit.

After 20 years I finally fired her. Notwithstanding long waits, being forgotten, being put on hold, getting inaccurate information about tests, lousy attitude on the part of the staff, dirty offices, the worst thing about this doctor is - the doctor. She always had a busy practice. Her attitude toward her patients has changed into abrupt, cold indifference. This is not somebody you go to if you are expecting compassion, understanding or accurate information. I think it is time for Dr. Irani to sell her practice and retire. She has singlehandedly destroyed her own previously good reputation. I don't want her anywhere near me now. Her backup doctors consist of her daughter, who doesn't seem very knowledgable and Dr. Del Rosario who is worthless as a doctor and has a miserable attitude. Talking to her is like talking to a tree stump. I easily found a better doctor, just as busy, but actually wants to pracice medicine and cares about her patients. Do yourself a favor. Stay away.

I first started seeing Dr. Irani about 20 years ago. Even back then her staff was rude and not very helpful. I waited at least 1 hour and 45 minutes to see her, and another 45 mins. in the exam room. On two occasions, I actually got dressed and left, rescheduling my appointment. Once I went to see Dr. Irani two days before my wedding. I had been bleeding nonstop for two weeks. (The staff didn't seem concerned, as I was unable to get an "'emergency appointment.' I had to wait almost a week. Again, I waited forever in the waiting room, and again in the exam room. Dr. Irani rushed in and wrote me a prescription. No explanation as to why I was bleeding, nothing. I got the prescription filled, and the bleeding stopped until the pills ran out (3 days later). Once I finished the pills, the bleeding returned. Long story short, after many unreturned phone calls to her office, I switched Drs., to find out that I was having a miscarriag and needed a D&C. Stay away from this office!!

Their rude unprofessional and clueless. They loose charts. Dr. Irani is bi-polar she screams and yells like she's a maniac. When she makes a mistake she blames the staff. The office manager is not of any help you ask her a question its like uh-duh I don't know I'm here to make ends meet at home. There are a few MA's in the office who is helpful, my mistake make that 1. She's a very sweet girl, I believe her name is Lena. Patients wait at least 2 hours before the doc sees them and than she rushes out like she has somewhere to go and she does upstairs in her office to maybe eat oatmeal or count her dollars she made for the day. Oh make sure those instruments are properly sterilized, sometimes their just washed under running water, so if you contracted a STD make sure it was from your partner and not the office instruments.

I have been visiting this doctors office for about 3 years now, and every time I go in, I ask myslef why do I continue to come here!!! I TOTALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANY WOMAN. A few weeks ago i drew the line when I went in for a follow up. I was left in the sitting room for an 1 1/2 hr. Then I was put in the room with a gown on for another 1hr. They couldn't find my File as usual...This situation was EVERY SINGLE TIME I visited this office though out my pregnancy. I had a lump on my chest, it took my over 15 phone calls to try and speak to the doctor. The doctor was rude and aggressive to a very unprofessional level. Visiting the OBGYN for many woman I believe is one of the most personal things you have to do on a routine basis, you really want to find someone who is gentle and caring this office is not the place!!! TRUST!!!

For anyone waiting on their medical records. BY LAW they have to give them to you. I had the same exact thing happen. The only way to get your records is to go to the office in person and insist on not leaving until you have them in hand. This was the only reason I got my records.

My wife had a appointment at 4pm did not get in til 5:05pm. Not only didnt she get in on time, another person walked in 45 minutes after her and went right in before my wife. I asked her about a bill that was five months old and never received before she got mad. Not only did she get mad she wasnt happy with the payment that my insurance company made too her $775.00 for 5hours work. Break it down to hours its $155.00 an hour (very greedy)she wasnt happy. My wife went in on 11-2-07 she told her to leave her office she doesnt want to treat her any more. She claimed it was beacuse of the questioning I did about the bill. It is just total greed, money hungry doctors dont care for the patient just for the almighty dollar. She said that 20 years ago I made a lot of money and I should have stayed in realestate with my husband. My wife has to find a new doctor. Please be careful. Nikola Lulaj patients husband

Highly unprofesional & incompetent bunch of doctors. never on time, normal wait time 90 minutes, normal call hold time 30 min. doctor always insist for tests but never see the report if you call office they will say if report will have anything wrong then doctor will call. during my wife's pregancy they did alpha protein test but were having no test report on my next visit. i have to followup several then i get the report. similarly inspite of my wife's increased tyroid level doctor never informed us for the same. I will never recomment this bunch of doctor to anyone. NEVER EVER... Don't risk your life.

Dr. Irani's billing department is the worst ever I have seem. They do not submit the claims with proper disgnostics code to the Insurance agency, thereby some of my claims were not passed. I had to bear a lot of mental agony and follow up to get them covered. They are still open and no one in Doctor's office helps in this. The doctor does some tests which the Insurance agency feels are investigational. THINK 100 TIMES BEFORE CHOOSING THIS DOCTOR. I have heard similar compliants fro others as well.

to the poster that is waiting for them to transfer her file...I changed drs myself because this practice is beyond horrible, it took a dozen phone calls (being on hold for 30+ minutes at a time) and TWO MONTHS for them to get my file. And even then, they claimed they faxed and mailed to my new dr as well as my home, when they never did. Then they said they "lost" my file, and finally I had to go to the office myself and sit for almost 2 hours while they made copies for me to take. I was not walking out of that office without them. They also told me they never received my written request to have copies of my file sent, when I even had the return receipt SIGNED by someone in the office!

If anyone is intested to do so, go to the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners website and file a complaint against Dr. Irani so others don't have to go through the same negative experiences. Maybe if enough patients complain something can be done.

This is the most incompetent sorry excuse for "Medical Professionals" that I have ever seen in my life! Long waits for appointments with no explaintions. They gave me incomplete results on a pregnancy screening test. They make you wait FOREVER only to then rush you through your appointment. When asked how many Amniocenticis proceedures they have done I got answered with sarchasim that "yours will be the first one for all the Dr's here". HA-HA-HA!! This is not funny considering the sensitive nature of this test that has risk of misscarriage. Especially to someone with previous history of miscarriage! They are grossly understaffed and one can compare this practice to that of a Jiffy Lube! (no offense to Jiffy Lube, but we are talking about peoples lives here not cars!!)I have switched to a new Dr. and it has been a WEEK since the transfer request was sent in and they still have not sent my records!

JUST DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. THE OFFICE IS OVERCROWDED AND YOU WILL WAIT AT LEAST 3 HOURS TO SEE THE DOCTOR (IF YOU ARE LUCKY!). I WAS THERE A COUPLE OF NIGHTS AGO WAITED THREE HOURS AND LATER DECIDED TO LEAVE. DR. IRANI NEEDS SOME GUIDANCE ON HOW TO PROVIDE A BETTER SERVICE FOR HER PATIENCE. I AM SURPRISE THAT SHE IS STILL IN BUSINESS!!!!! :(

I used to be a patient at this office, and then I worked there for a while. My advice: DON'T GO!! Everything is more unorganized then it appears, charts are constantly being lost and duplicated. The doctors are very unprofessional (besides Dr. Chait who is clearly the best doctor there). Dr. D is a nightmare, and she is always complaining and belittling patients behind their backs. She is truely in it for the money and not the patient care. Not only that but she will yell at the staff and even the patients!! I've seen way too many mistakes and problems in this ofice to ever go back. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor because I speak from experience!!

I just found out that I'm pregnant so I went to Dr. Irani for the first time last week. The first bad sign was waiting in the waiting room for over an hour. My appt. was at 6pm and I didn't go in until 7:15pm. They then tell me when I sign in that a different doctor is going to be seeing me which was no big deal. The staff was rude and airy. As it turns out, I was there for 3 hours and they forgot to take my blood work. I called them to discuss and they put me on hold for 30 minutes before talking to a nurse who had no clue. She was shocked that they did not take my blood. They even had the nerve to ask if I was sure. Needless to say, that's more than enough for my 1st & last visit. I am 5 weeks pregnant and can not imagine dealing with this for 35 weeks. I do no recommend them at all!

I've seen Dr. Irani for many years. The services was always bad and the staff was even worst, but I figured I only had to deal with them once a year. That's until I got pregnant and knew that I would need more frequent visits. During one of my visits, she asked about my history and I told her I had hypertension and she asked what med was I on and I told her. I asked her if this will harm the baby and she pulled out her book and said I DON'T KNOW. How scary is that? After two visits of waiting over 3 to 4 hours in the waiting room and than another 1 hour in the room and dealing with the staff. I left her office and moved on to a better, more caring, and knowledgeable doctor. I don't know what's going on in the office but for your own good DO NOT use any of these doctor's they are the WORSE doctors and they're license she be taken AWAY!

Dr. Irani is nice, but on my last visit she told me my blood pressure was high, but couldn't tell what the #s were. When I called her office later to get the #s so that I could call my primary care physician, as she suggested I do, they told me my chart was filed away and no one could help me. Everyone was busy with patients, including the doctor and they would get back to me when they could. I will no longer be seeing Dr Irani. I am through with being treated horribly! I have never felt worse about a doctor in my life. Horrible, absolutely horrible! Oh, an my appointment time was 6:40pm, I arrived at 6:15 and didn't see the doctor until 7:30pm. Ridiculous!!

This office is the worst!I came to see Dr. Irani ever since I tried to get pregnant. Then I found out that I was misdiagnosed (dbl chked her diagnosis) re:low hormone.Rude staff, being put on hold for over 30 minutes only to be told that no one was available,un-returned calls either. At one appointment, while I was being examined by Dr. DelRosario, the same receptionist walked in 3 times w/o knocking! Also,Dr.D insisted that i had kidney failure, after I repeatedly told her that I was having period, thus urine test may be unusable though everybody insisted me on giving out urine. The highlight:we went to Dr.Irani to pick up my record after only asking for it for a month and being told that it would be forwarded several times by record person only to find out that it wasn't forwarded.Dr.Irani threw temper tantrum, verbally attacked us,threatened to call the cops to which we responded feel free to do so because we're filing reports. No doctors should treat ppl this way, let's report this office.

She has no departments, everything is unorganized, she changes the schedual every other day and the staff has to call and reschedual patients over and over again, and she will try to walk all over her whole staff...

Once you get an appt (could be weeks later) you will wait & wait & wait in the waiting room. I've waited up to 3 1/2 hours once. Then you wait again in the smaller waiting room. I've been here for an additional 2 hours at one point. Doctors can be nice as pie or rude, depending on what kind of day they are having. I've had Dr. Irani scream at me because my blood pressure was high during a prenatal visit. How can I control my blood pressure? SHE'S the doctor so SHE should control it either with medicine or direct me to a cardiologist. Don't yell at the patient for something out of their control. Needless to say, I don't recommend this office unless you have a whole day to kill waiting to see a doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Irani's for 6 years. Many of my family members go to Dr. Irani's as well. I became very comfortable with this office, until recently, I began experiencing some problems. I call the office and I am put on hold for 25 minutes, the staff never picks the phone back up. I always need to call back, only for them to put me on hold once again. Finally I ended up telling them not to put me on hold b/c they never come back. I find that the nurse who calls to give test results is not caring in the least. She calls tells you the situation very quickly and with little explaination, and when I asked her a question she would answer as if I was bothering her by asking. I am so disappointed and aggravated. I do not even understand why so many women go to this office. I can not find one good thing about it. Not to mention that the place is absolutely filthy!

I had been bleeding for two weeks (I should be in menopause). I went to Dr D, she gave me medication, did blood work and gave me a prescription for an ultrasound. I had the ultrasound and found out my uterus lining had thickened. When I went back, she discussed a D&C and hysteroscopy which I had. It was also discovered that I had abnormal cells on my uterus which they removed at the time of the D&C. On my followup visit last week, Dr. Irani only discussed the cervical procedure and when I asked about the D&C results, she said benign. I have a sinking feeling that they never ordered a pathology report for the D&C. Now that I've read all of these postings, I'm calling the hospital to get my report. Dr. Irani never explained why I had bleeding in the first place and on the way out the door she told me good luck!! I will NOT be going back.

I am (was) a patient of Dr. D at this very unprofessional practice. I am dealing with infertility issues, or rather, Dr. D was VERY quick to diagnose me with infertility issues w/o even doing any testing. She immediately put me on fertility meds and sent me on my way. I've had numerous questions about the meds and at one point called for two weeks straight until I was able to get an answer about something she prescribed. The excuse I was given was that the couldn't find my file (for two weeks????). I have since found a new Dr. and am having an extreamly difficult time getting my file over to the new office. I have called only to be put on hold EVERY SINGLE TIME for at least 30 minutes before someone picks up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE OF DOCTORS.

I went for my 24 week prenatal check up and this is where they just listen to the baby's heart beat to make sure everything's ok. Dr. D couldn't find the heartbeat because the placenta was in the way. She got frustrated, threw some tissues on my belly and said, wipe yourself off now i had to do an ultrasound to find the heartbeat. After she found the heartbeat i was curious how the baby was positioned so that i could distinguish whether the baby was kicking of punching. she said, in a nasty tone "the head is always where the heart is, how could it be anywhere else!" that day i also asked her to check because i thought i had a yeast infection. i have yet to get the results and my visit was feb 3. i have called the office several times, no one gets back to me. I have gone to another Gyn, very happy not to have to go back there and wait 2 hours to be seen. and if you need to get your chart for the new dr, good luck you'll get..."we'll do it when we have time". i do not recommend this DR.

Please avoid this doctor. The practice is terrible. They will transfer care at the slightest irregularity, leaving you without a OB/GYN. They do not communicate with you and I question if they actually ran the tests they said they would run. They are disorganized and have no bedside manners. Please for your health and your baby's health find another doctor. My wife knew she had a yeast infection and asked them to check. They took the sample, but we never heard the results (as I said my wife knew she had an infection). This can be dangerous during a pregnancy (she was in her 20th week).

The wait to get seen is about an hour after that you are brought in and made to wait another 30 minutes before getting seen, the staff looks like they are miserable. Dr. Irani is constantly yelling and belittling her staff in front of patients. They need to be quick with us patients to move on to the next if not she tells them cut it short I need you... Very very poor moral values also. i would NOT recommend patients to there nor would i allow any love one to work there!!!! RUN......

Office is overstaffed. You won't get personalized attention, either from the staff or the Drs. You feel like you're a product in an assembly line. If you're pregnant or want to become pregnant that's NOT the kind of care you want. The Drs. were very quick to put us on fertility drugs without proper diagnosis. They are over-booked, so their goal is to get people out in 5 minutes; of course, that's after you are made to sit in the waiting room for 45 minutes. We saw Dr. Chait and Dr. Del Rosario who practice with Dr. Irani. When you call the office with any questions you will be put on hold for 15 minutes or longer. They also billed us incorrectly for lab tests and we had to spend hours sorting it out. We found another practice which is much farther away but well worth it because my wife feels like she's getting the proper care and personal attention that any woman who wants to become pregnant deserves.

Worst doctor. Worst staff, never returned calls, after I asked for help on the phone, I was told half of staff do not speak English. Waited always 2+hopurs, once they forgot about me in room and almost closed office with me being in room. She was rude with me when I was pregnant, and needed help from her. Wait time is 2+, hours even for emergency appointments. Dr. didn't return numerous phone calls about ultrasound results. Staff was extremely rude. Dr. Irani didn't even have the decency to explain my results to me. I ended up fighting with the receptionist who had no clue what she was talking about. Was told I could make a consultation appt with Irani if I wanted to discuss my results further!! Ended up getting a copy of my results from ultrasound place. It found cysts and suggested I come back for follow up ultrasound. I was never notified of this from Dr. Irani! She is the worst doctor I have ever dealt with. I use to go to her since I was young but when I got pregnante she saw me never gave me my prenatles and when a started to spot a few weeks later she told me I could not call every other day because I was bleeding. She was too busy. So I marched to her office and she gave me a referral to have an ultrasound but it was 2 weeks out. I had to call the place myself and schedule an emergency and when she found out she called me screaming. I told her it was my baby and body and if she didn't like it I would see her in court. That was the last time I ever went to her or spoke to her. I would recommed seeing a butcher before her.

I had two children and was expecting a third. I was 35 and had an amnio. During a routine visit in my 5th month of pregnancy, the ultrasound revealed the baby was dead. I was devastated. Doctor was visably uncomfortable and couldn't wait to get me and my husband out of the office. (She double-charged my insurance because she spent too much time with us.) A few months later, I got pregnant again. During the 4th month, I developed a fever and called her office for advice. The staff wouldn't put the doctor on the phone. Instead, told me to take Robitusin. I went for a routine checkup and this baby had died too. Irani was out of the office. A few days later, Irani called me, nice at first and then told me not to feel sorry for myself. When I went back for a follow up visit, Irani told me I was high-high risk. She sent me for dozens of tests which turned up normal. I never went back to her. A few months later I went to another doctor and had a healthy baby and uncomplicated pregnancy.

I've always waited a very long time in that office, although she was never rude. However, once I had a terrible pain in my breast and was crying b/c I was worried b/c I'd felt a lump. Her partner opened the door, saw me crying and then shut the door. She came back in a few minutes later and pretended I was not crying when she opened the door. (I was supposed to have seen Dr. Irani). Who does that? Dr. Irani and her daughter were always polite to me. The partner was awful. The problem is, if you are scheduled to see Dr. Irani, there is a good chance you might end up having to be seen by her partner. My experience with the doctors daughter, Dr. Chait, was very positive.

I just want you all to know that i used to work there and the doctor was never on time. Always in a rush would leave patients waiting for hours then leave and not see her patients and poor DR. Del Rosario stuck seeing her own and the other doctor. Forgrt about messages the front desk always gave the messages, not returning calls wasnt there fault it was the doctor who never even bothered to look at them only when it was brought to her attention that patient was upset. Mistreated staff and patients. Staff always willing to help but under great deal of stress working for this miserable person....so next time you dont get a call dont blame the staff.....and as far as appointments she triple books her appts so theres hours of waiting.....always changing rules and regulations......NOT ORGANIZED and BAD DOCTOR

I went to her 26 years ago *(she delivered my son), she was ok back then but the wait to be seen was always horrendous. I hear she has "NOT" mellowed with age and is rude and nasty to her patients, maybe she is in menopause or post meno. My Aunt had a very bad expierence with her around 15-18 years ago and I hear only bad things about that whole office now, stay away, she is not the doctor she once was!

At one point when I was having a problem with bleeding she said very abruptly while looking at the chart not even at me, "If this continues we will just take your uterus out." I was so upset when I got home. I tried to call her to discuss it and it took four phone calls before I could talk to her. When I finally spoke to her she denied saying that then went on to say something about all the pain I have been having. I told her I had never mentioned having pain at all. I had a cyst on my ovary that she neglected to tell me about. The nurse mentioned it and I was stunned. I asked to have my records sent to me and that took forever. When I spoke to her about the cyst she said something about a test for ovarian cancer that was done. I said the last time she had done that test was 5 years ago..and she said well I didn't say when it was. I went to a new doctor who said the cyst could be malignant. I had surgery to have it removed and was very lucky it was okay. Not a good doctor!

Very rude to staff and patients. Dr. Irani never followed up with results for tests or exams. After waiting two to three hours to get seen, you are then rushed on your consultation. It is very upsetting. I would not recommend this doctor. The bulk of this probably stems from overworked, low morale staff and a doctor that just wants a pay check.

she always was very professional with mammograms and pap tests....She in fact diagnosed that I had a large lump in my breast and told me to go to an oncologist as soon as possible. It was breast cancer, had chemo and then had radical masectomy.

My impression was that if you're pregnant you have a better chance of having a good experience with her. She's a lot nicer to pregnant patients. There's more money in it for her. If you aren't interested in having a baby, or are beyond those years, you're going to get shoved out the door after waiting with a paper dress in a cold exam room for 3 hours. You're not going to be treated very nicely by her staff which is constantly changing (probably because it appears to be a miserable place to work), you're going to have to leave multiple messages and maybe somebody will call you back but it won't be her. Who needs it? If money were not so interesting to her, she would not triple book her appointments. She would stop accepting new patients for a while. Sooner or later, you get tired of being passed off to her daughter or worse, Del Rosario who is clearly a miserable human being. Sooner or later, you'll find a real doctor who actually cares.

I have been a patient for 13 years. Dr. Irani, Dr. Del Rosario & Dr. Chait are extremely knowledgable, educated, but extremely busy doctors. Yes their waiting room is always packed & you do have to wait a while to be seen, but would you really want to go to a doctor that is never busy?! They are often called out to emergencies to deliver babies. I am currently pregnant & I DO want one of the doctors to run out the door if I am about to delivery my baby. The doctors have always be extremely thorough when it came to testing, examining or informing me whether is was pregnancy related or not. I have never had a problem getting a doctor to call me back. I would recommend this practice to everyone.

I used this doctor many years ago and it was a horrible experince. I was young and not very knowlegable at the time. To make a long story short - she charged me for tests that I did not authrorize and tried to tell me that I did. Then after asking to see the papers I signed authorizing these tests - the office called back to say they would charge it "with an employee discount" Needless to say I called my insurance company - the charges then disappeared... To top it all off she told me I needed laser surgery - when I went for my second opinion turns out I didn't need extensive surgery at all... it was procedure that was done in the office called cyrosurgery....

She double books and triple books and she comes in late everyday! She does nothing but belittles her staff in front of patients. How unprofessional that is!! Also, fights with her daughter in front of patients and staff. Again, how unprofessional! Her daughter is also rude to her staff. Too many patients, not enough help. If a doctor really cares about her patients, she wouldn't let them wait for hours to get examined. People's time is precious also. How many times did I make appointments and I kept getting calls from the office to reschedule because the doctor has an emergency. Enough is enough with the emergency excuse! They should get their act together!!!! I HIGHLY recommend finding another OB/GYN because you'll be sorry if you don't!

This Dr. was so unprofessional! And her daughter was just as bad, they would confuse patient charts. And sometimes not even have the chart. The Techs would call the patients if something was wrong with ultrasound! You could never get the DOCTOR directly on the phone.... What a nightmare of a place!! I got lucky and found someone that cared! Didn't look at me like I was cattle! So I would NEVER recommend anyone going here!! Trust me, you will be sorry!

I just wanted to add that I used to go to this Dr. and I was waiting close to 2 hours for every visit, just like the others said...When I finally did get in a room, I waited some more, then the nurse would tell me that I could see another partner or re-schedule! So, of course I switched my Dr. When I did get in to see her, Dr. Irani was just ok...and would not spend much time. My experience was about 2 years ago...looks like it's still going the same way.

went in for an emergency visit, ended up waiting about 1.5 hours in the waiting room, front desk made copies of my insurance card and then laid my file to the side, so they forgot to call me. i thenwaited for another +20 minutes for her. i had alot of questions, i was concerned about my issue, she basially answered with genric answers no details no helpful information. jus there's your prescription come back if you need too. also i heard her yell at her staff outside my room, how they werent answering calls properly. stafff seemed overwelmed and flustered and irritable that patients needed help. not good considering this is an important visit for most womaen, i will be changing doctors.

I have waited for Dr. Irani for up to 4 hours only to find she has left the building and I have to see one of her colleagues. Recently I had tests because I was having problems. These were extensive tests. She did not call me with results. I called several times, she called me back a week later. She would not speak directly to me, and was telling a staff member what to say to me. I could hear her. She was giving me incorrect information based upon what the radiologist had told me. I have had many instances where she does not call back, acts disinterested and is very rude. I was a patient for 15 years and I have decided to find another doctor. I would not recommend her to anybody. On the NJ State site she has 3 litigation settlement claims. That's unacceptable. There are plenty of OB/GYNS in this area who have none. Don't waste your time and money. Staff is incredibly rude and misinforms.

She is the best, delivered my son with Dr. Chait and Dr. DelRosario. Very compassionate and knowledgeable as are the other doctors in the practice. Listens to your concerns does not rush you out the door. I would and have recommended her to others who are just as pleased with her as I have been the past 15 years.

Very rude and mean. My wife had a very unpleasant experience during and after our first baby's delivery in 2003, that was done by her inexperienced daughter, Dr. Chait. Now, we have been asking them to send my wife's medical records to another doctor that we are going to for our second baby. After two faxes and more than 20 phone calls to her office, still no sign of records (apparently they are not too happy at losing our business). Office clerks have also inherited the rudeness from their doctors. Latest reply from their office - "We have a hundred million patients and Dr. Irani doesnt have time to sign so many documents, so wait for your turn." Sure doesnt look like we will get the records before my wife's due date in May. By the way, Hundred Million Patients!!! :). PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. comments space not enough to narrate my wife's horrific experience.

Horrific experience with this doctor!I waited in the waiting room for 2 hours and in the exam room for another 2 hours! Also,She is very unprofessional .Yells at her staff members infront of patients. One time I went to the office for a visit, asked for only Dr Irani , and the staff members said she was not there. Meanwhile I heard her in one of the rooms.Takes too long in returning calls for patients results.I heard her once telling her staff members to tell a husband of a patient that she didnt have time for his questions . That if he wanted an answer to make a consultation! She is very rude.I feel bad for her workers.Furthermore,I had a friend who took a urine test, they mistakely switched her urine for someone elses and was told she was pregnant. They then realized there mistake and had her redo the urine test!I hope this can help people not to use her as their primary doctor.
