I have been a long time patient at RFP and it can be an absolutely gruelling journey but I will always be grateful I had Dr O’Keane as my Dr for my care. He has a funny sense of humour but takes his work seriously. He is my favourite provider at RFP

Had my first meeting few days ago to discuss fertility and planning ahead, I found him very smart and pleasant, he took the time to answer my questions and explain the next steps. Ruled out PCOS which really made my day as this was the main reason for my visit (was worried ). I appreciate the friendly staff at the front desk and his nurse. Although he is highly sought after, he is definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend!

If you want nightmare so called dr there ya go! Specificaly if you are expecting !!!!!!!!!

Helpful, friendly and informative. Dr. O'Keane delivered my son a few years ago (emergency caesarean) and took great care of us. He is now taking care of us for my next pregnancy. Grateful to be a patient of his. Thank you Dr. O'Keane.

Me and my husband love him. He is very kind and straight to the point. We met him twice - the initial consult and the follow up appointment. Very professional, clear, and reassuring. Though we got pregnant before starting any treatments, we are still thankful he got to explain everything to us. Thank you Dr. O'Keane! May you help more aspiring parents!

Dr. O’keane is always on time, friendly, remembers the small things and always tries to make you laugh given the right circumstances. He is open to what you want to do while providing you with the most accurate information. I look forward to our visits, he never makes me feel rushed and I’ll be sad when our time is done. Seriously can’t rate him high enough!

I just absolutely love this doctor. I would see him for all my medical needs if I could. He is thorough, knowledgeable, kind, punctual and has great bed side manner. He has gone above and beyond for any need I have approached him about. He has listened attentively and even let me choose my own course of action, if he deemed it reasonable and well though out. If you’re lucky enough to fit into his busy schedule as a new patient, be thankful. There are much, much worse places to be!

Having a long history of PCOS and anovulatory cycles due to being thin/athletic, my GP referred us to the Regional Fertility Center after a couple months of TTC. We were seen my Dr. O'Keane twice in four months. He was quick to confirm our previous suspicions around why we were not successful conceiving and put me on ovulation drugs. Within two medicated cycles we became pregnant! He was always very through in explaining things, clear and optimistic during our meetings. I never left the office feeling hopeless--just that everything would eventually work out for us. He won't sugar coat things but is there to be as informative as possible. Understand and appreciate the cultural difference you might have and you will be fine.

He is very kind and honest, and knows his stuff. He remembers patients and tries to treat everyone like a human being at all times. He's super gentle during procedures and tries to involve patients in procedures as much as possible. He puts the patient's wishes and interests first, wherever ethical. I suppose he isn't above the odd gentle Irish "slag" -- Irish people bond with each other by teasing each other gently, far more than North Americans do -- I'm not surprised he might make jokes about a young woman who has good egg reserves and a virile partner at the fertility clinic, because that woman is getting the good overall news that she is likely to succeed in her quest for motherhood, and he's probably pretty jubilant he can help. You can take the Irishman out of Ireland, but it's hard to take Irish out of the man.
