My step-father is fighting for his life in the hospital right now with pulmonary fibrosis and his organs are starting to fail because of toxicity from the high dose of the drug Amiodorane that he was placed on. This in conjuction with another medication he is on has essentially been toxic to him. He voiced his concerns to him about other side effects he was experiencing after being on Amiodarone for a while and this doctor told him that was not a possible side effect and dismissed his concerns. If my step-father dies the blood will be on his hands.

J'ai renconté ce médecin 2 fois et j'ai été très satisfaite de mes rencontres avec lui et il a répondu à mes questions et on a ri ensemble. Il m'a rassurée en me proposant de passer un électro à l'effort.

Absolutely no social skills. Seems to be very irritated when asked a question. Very quick to prescribe medication at a high dosage. Left office feeling I should go elsewhere to find a doctor to whom I could communicate.

Discourages dialogue/questions. has no interest in discussing any other issues that affect the heart (ie anemia)performs an ecg, takes your blood pressure and squeezes your ankle, fills out your prescription and says see you in 6 mos. If you ask him to refer you to another specialist that does treat that concern or include a blood test that you are concerned about, he refuses as he does not want any involvement in your health outside of what he deals with. Zero interest in you as a human being or your health in general. Also, to quote him "in my experience losing weight and exercise does NOT affect blood pressure"...come on, really?? (he hands you a scrip for blood pressure meds instead) Another instance, when my father presented to ER with heart attack symptoms and he was on call, he refused to treat him as my father had ceased to use him as a dr. he then publicly berated him in ER for having no confidence and changing doctors before walking away and refusing to help him in ER.

Je me demande bien pourquoi le college des médecins n' enlève pas le droit de pratiquer a ce cardiologue. J'espère qu'ils n'attendront pas qu'un patient décède dans son office!

On 2 occasions he gave me a cardioversion in the hospital. Later on after an office visit,he increased by 4 my dosage of Zocor cholesterol pill and prescribed to me the anti-Arythmia pill Amiodarone. When I told him about the bad side effects that I felt, he told me to talk to my pharmacist. I did and learned that when these 2 drugs are taken together the side effects of Zocor are increased by 5 times. I am not taking any of these pills any more and my colesterol is perfect. I want to die healthy so I suggest to change cardiologist like I did.

Definately a lack of Interpersonal Skills a doctor and with no interest in any type of discussion. Prescribes lots of pills and in what appears to me larger than required doses...but don't question him about it. The only conversation of interest is to discuss the "Extra Fee" charges for service posted around office and to complain about government controls.

I had this doctor for quite some time about the way I was feeling but he would not listen to me and finally I landed in the hospital having suffered three strokes. At the hospital where I was. they changed my medecine completely contrary to what Kachra used to give me.

Gives the impression that the patient is a necessary pain in the butt. Has no interest in patient's concerns and gets po'd if you ask questions.

Office visit is a quick click of your Medical Card followed by short examination and a "we will see you in six months". This all takes only from ten to twelve minutes.

ce cardiologue semble avoir le potentiel, mais ne tient pas compte de ce qu'un patient a ,a lui dire, tres peu de sourire, assez démoralisant, mais il est ponctuel.
