18/01/08 5 4 4 4 For a "local oncologist" he is quite knowledgable about my type of cancer & what he doesn't know, he admits freely. At first I thought he was kind of stern, but he is truly a real sweetie & he & his staff follow thru with phone calls, faxes, etc when needed. He is easily accessible. If you don't need a specialist for your type of cnacer, or need a first consultation, he is great. He doesn't have a big ego & will readily go along with a treatment plan designed by a specialist for your type of cancer.

07/08/07 5 5 5 5 Poth rules! When he opens his mouth, people jump! Every time something happened with me, he had tests done immediately. He is a kind, responsive, and highly thought of man, who works in coordination with his colleagues at Stanford, and this combination worked VERY well for me. I wouldn't want to be with any other oncologist. Dr. Poth's staff is knowledgable, friendly, and very responsive. Immediate replies when called, even at on-call times.

10/03/06 3 1 3 It is difficult to rate an on-call doctor who you only met once. But what can one say about a physician who recommended chemotherapy for a patient whose cancer had spread to several major organs and was internally hemorraging? The patient went through this recommended chemotherapy and died days later.  Respond
