Dr Antoniou is a world-class surgeon and an unfailingly compassionate individual. I have had both of my hips operated upon by him. He and his team are professionals of the very best sort. He and they take great care to explain every part of the procedure so that you are entirely prepared. He is also an excellent listener who never leaves me feeling that he is short of time to deal with my questions. I have, unfortunately, had a lot of exposure to surgeons and hospitals in recent years. But I am pleased to report that my experience with Dr Antoniou and his staff has been consistently first-rate. (The Orthopedics recovery ward located at the Jewish General Hospital is another matter altogether. But it is not under the supervision of Dr Antoniou or his team.) If you are eligible to have Dr Antoniou as your surgeon, don't hesitate for a single moment. You can't get better treatment than he provides. He has taken pain out of my life and returned my mobility. Enough said.

Dr. Antoniou and Assitant Maria were exceptional. My hip resurfacing surgery went flawless and I am completely pain free for the first time in about 10 years. I can now sleep through the entire night. I did a lot of research before going ahead with this procedure and in choosing the right doctor for me. Dr. Antoniou, in my opinion, is the most experienced and best hip resurfacing surgeon in Canada. If I need my other hip done, I will definitely seek Dr. Antoniou again. Maria you are the best. Thanks to both of you I now have my life back and pain free, thanks again,Aldo.

Very knowledgeable and effective. He takes the time needed, he tells you the facts as they are and he works hard to find a solution to your problem and to ease the pain. He always considers different solutions before a surgery. I highly recomend him.

Un chirurgien extraordinaire, hors pair... Son dévouement ainsi que celui de son équipe est sans égal. De plus, il pratique au jewish general hospital, un des meilleurs hôpital au monde. C'est déja une angoisse de se faire opérer à la hanche. Avec le Dr. Antoniou, on se sent entre les meilleures mains du monde.

This surgeon has given back my life and ability to walk. His world class treatment of my hip (I got a resurfacing 6 months ago) went extremely well. He also has a great support staff (especially his secretary Maria).

Dr Antoniou a entériné une mauvaise décision de ses résidents. A cause de cela je subis des chirurgies depuis plusieurs années pour essayer de réparer l'erreur de ce médecins et ses élèves.

This man may be the best knee & hip surgeon any where He performed a total knee arthroplasty on my right knee 4 years ago. No problems. After my last annual check up he said everything is still great, do you ever use it? He has won world awards, notably for his hip surgery technique. He teaches at McGill and also in hospitals around the world. He also has a terrific web site which is well worth the visit.The only problem i think he has is that there are only 24 hours in a day and he is swamped. I am on his waiting list for a total arthro on my left knee but he is in such demand i am sure i will just have to be patient. The Jewish General admin asked if i would consider going to another hospital for my left knee replacement but i declined. i am sure there are a lot of fine surgeons around who could also do a good job but i like my chances better with Dr Antoniou.He is Number 1. i just wish he was not so well known and in such demand.

My mother had surgery with Dr. Antoniou and she was in the best hands ever! he is a very skillful and resourceful doctor. He took the time to explain everything regarding her situation and surgery. While hospitalized, he did his regular visits and took the time to answer any questions we had. As for the clinic service.. what do you expect..its orthopedics.. its a zoo.. of course you are going to wait for your appointment.. there are so many patients. so little resource.. there is so much someone can do!

He is a world class joint replacement surgeon... a leader in his field. I heard great things about him and was not disappointed. My hip resurfacing went beautifully and he was very supportive all the way through. The waits in the waiting room were understandable and well worth it!

He was running very late and he seemed more irritated that I was there wasting his time. He told me there was nothing he could do for me but I ended up seeing another physician at McGill who greatly alleviated my hip pain with an injection. If I had listened to Dr Antoniou’s advice, I might still be in pain. I thought he was an expert in hip pain? Maybe I was there on a bad day, because I had heard good things about him before my visit.

Le Dr Antoniou a toutes les qualités recherchées pour un chirurgien : il est attentif, facile d'approche, brillant et on se sent en confiance entre ses mains. Il a opéré mon genou et si mon autre genou nécessite une autre opération, il n'y a qu'à lui que je le confierais! Merci Dr Antoniou!

Wonderful and knowledgeable doctor. Unfortunately, Dr. Antoniou has been unable to help my husband with his hip problem due to a more serious spine condition. Dr. Antoniou has referred my husband to a spine specialist who has refused to take any new patients. This is very frustrating since the specialist is a colleague of Dr. Antoniou. After many hours of phone calls, we are still without a specialist.

This man makes miracles. I was walking without a cane within 2 weeks after my resurfacing.I have a nasty scar but who cares!!It cost me $10.00 for the tv rental.lol

Has revolutionized the art of hip repair, by developing a procedure of hip resurfacing.My spouse has had both degenerative hips repaired by Dr.Antoniou, both completely successful. Also he is caring and attentive in pre and post op phases. He is a godsend!

Great surgeon. He is on the cutting edge of technology, has had numerous articles written about himself and his research. He is caring and easy to talk to. I'm finally able to walk without pain!
